The waiting game!!!

Me n my partner have been together 7years- not married yet :( mainly because we decided to go for a mortgage over a wedding and now wer ttc so it's on the back bench again! Unless I win the lotto
Fingers crossed this is goin to be n exciting week for everyone, no AF and lots on bfP's! .. Although I'm getting my infamous backache I get Every month hmmm

I agree he should def do a proposal once he has a ring :) or shop for one together... That's what we did ... I got proposed to with a haribo ring. Which was a little joke we'd always had. He was a bit worried about buying the ring as I wanted a ruby not diamond one. Yep I'm awkward! Lol

I've been married two years in oct, but with hubby for almost 11.5years now... Which seems crazy when I think about it all.

itwillhappen that is definitely the way I am trying to look at it all! I think what will be will be and to just enjoy things and not let it get to me too much! I think as I get closer to totm I feel like it hasn't happen so just hurry up and get this totm over with so can start again!

sarah1391 we were worried about the expense... We went abroad to get married... Told everyone what we were planing with plenty of time to save and then did it the way we wanted. Was a lot cheaper and we had a great wedding and then honeymoon all at less cost that it could have been here,

So I am hoping that some of these BFN turn into BFP this week... We are now approaching the time when it could show up on by test, I've resisted testing so far (can't actually believe I've managed!! But think it's cos I am so adamant it won't happen)

We've been trying to sort out mortgage stuff this weekend so that's been keeping me occupied which has def helped, and I've spent a lot of time in the kitchen cooking away... Which I find great to relax :)

itwillhappen u just made me chuckle, i'm late for everything! Thats a great way of looking at things and what i'll try and keep in mind when AF turns up for me which i'm sure she will.

gakay yay a wedding will def take ur mind off it :) u should tell DP he still has to propose me and DP already know we will get married (had the whole conversation of the expense of it all and decided to ttc first) but he still has to propose once hes saved for the ring!

I had a bit of spotting yesterday. Think af is coming soon. Got really upset thus morning after another expected bfn. Asked DP if we could get married (I've been waiting for over a year). He said yes! Have started talking about wedding now. Guess this is the best way to take my mind off stressing about TTC. Shame I'll never have one of those romantic proposals seen on tv but I'm losing my patience waiting

I've spent the day glossing- we bought our first house in Jan so most of our weekends have been full of DIY.. No excitement for me tonight, will be spending it trying to get this gloss out of my hair

Today i went to see my friend who is pregnant! So she was showing me the things she's bought,speaking about babies...she knows we're ttc so was nice to speak to someone about it (in real life i mean)

AF should be due for me on Monday 18th according to my app, wondering if i should test that day or leave it a few days after that? Assuming AF doesnt turn up before then...

Just picking up on hopefulnewbie buying internet cheapies...i want to buy some but scared that they wont work haha anyone had any experience with them? I saw some on ebay approx £7 for 30 tests i think it was!

bourbondreams haha I shall be doing the exact same thing tonight, I’m not a big drinker either but nights like that call for a glass of red.. heyho a diet coke will have to do i suppose, even though I am convincing myself im out this month… just the dull twinge feeling in my right but that could just be the lead up to AF next week
I did buy a load of internet cheapies yesterday, so il at least be prepared!.. I opted for second class delivery so they shouldn’t arrive til mid next week, to stop me testing again on the weekend

gakay what's this trial you're doing? sounds quite stressful but i love a freebie so would consider looking into it! don't worry about symptoms, they're different for everyone so it's maybe too early to be getting any!

bourbon i think i'll just wait at least another week, i have no symptoms at all and am really starting to doubt i'll get a BFP...but then as i don't even get symptoms for AF i'm assuming my body is a bit weird haha

itwillhappen how did the report go - I must admit I too giggled at the "overvaluation" "ovulation" comment! I hope you managed to have a bit of a relaxing evening.

gakay that must be so hard doing the trial, especially as at the moment it probably wouldn't be showing properly anyway with the BFP. Don't feel ashamed for asking for more, you are doing them a service by doing the trial and they need to provide the tools to get what they need out of it, otherwise its a waste for them.

sarah1391 yes I think I will hold out as long as I can now... it doesn't seem that far away. If anything I will only test a day or so before but only if I feel it will be of benefit. Who knows... we shall see.

hopeful Keeping FX for you. I am not getting the really bad pinching anymore, so who knows, I have aches and that but not sure. I'm try to have the its not over til its over and AF has arrived...

We shall see. Hubby is out this evening so its me and the cats and lots of tv to catch up on... and trying to resits a glass of wine or something... weekends are when I find it hard, I'm not a massive drinker anyway but i do like one or two on a Friday

gakay there’s nothing to be ashamed about and it will happen , it’s the same with all trials and testing they give the bare minimum out to keep costs down so don’t worry about having to ask for more and the free scans will be awesome
As for my symptoms, all the light-headedness has gone, no sore boobs… I just have a dull throbbing on my right side so thinking im out for this month, but I still have just under a week until AF

hopeful I have mixed feelings about the trial. It's great in terms of having all the free OPKs and pg tests and if I managed to conceive I get many free scans too! But it's stressful with the early testing and bfn's. Also they don't give me enough tests and I feel ashamed for not managing to conceive when I contact them to ask for more.

itwillhappen your posts made me laugh (with you not at you) esp with the overvaluation bit. I think it could well be your inner brain telling you sth with your Freudian slip earlier. Hope you had a relaxing evening yesterday.

Another bfn this morning :(
In terms of possible symptoms: peed 3 x within 3 hours of waking having only drunk 2/3 of my usual morning cup of coffee. Feeling a bit nauseous at the moment but that could well be car sickness as am sitting on the bus plus massive curry last night and super stressed with work. Am definitely not convinced these are pg symptoms.

bourbon i think i'm going to wait until after my app says AF is due too, better than doing a test and getting a BFN when really it could be a BFP if i waited! you have a lot of symptoms so fx you get a BFP! i dont have symptoms for AF (other than being irrationally emotional) so i think when i do get pregnant i wont have any symptoms!

itwillhappen maybe it is ur inner brain!! I thought i would be relaxed too (especially as we cant time anything right with DP being away) but it's all i'm thinking about...probably doesnt help that i'm texting an old work collegue (old meaning used to work with haha not she is old) who is 28 weeks and speaking to me about buying baby clothes! she knows we're ttc so might get some advice!

Today isn’t a good day for the testing! I really am keeping my fingers crossed that it was just too early for us
but I still cant help feeling disheartened .. my nausea/light headedness and pinching feeling has gone too – I don’t think its looking good for me this month, booooo
