The waiting game!!!

Soda..ive done two things different this month......starting dtd during my period abd afterwards instead of going to the toilet i fell asleep. Cant believe it. Early days though so not getting excited.

I started temping this month which I'm finding quite interesting and good to know when I actually ovulated. I'm 6dpo at the moment so huge fingers crossed xx

Gakay. Just taken test see is this a line post. I did the test all wrong so will try again tomorrow morning unless af has appeared by then. I know what you mean about christmas. I really could do with a drink tonight as waiting is hell... Gakay maybe just enjoy the festive period but dont overdose on it. I Did have a glass of cava in sept at a family do! Where has the year gone?

I had a great weekend staying with my friends over the weekend and I still haven't peaked yet! Really feel like I'm going to soon but negative OPK and still just showing 'high' on my cbfm. I'm on cd17 now. We're just DTD every day at the moment so we don't miss it! I'm just having a panic that I'm not going to ovulate. Because my last cycle was so long and strange I don't think I ovulated so just hoping I do this time.

On my way back from the Coventry clinic. The staff there were really nice. The biopsy was a bit painful and am glad it's over now. Will get my results in 4 weeks time. We'll be able to try again in just a couple of weeks - am feeling really excited now.

Don't worry soda swimmers can survive a few days so if you managed to DTD last night it should be fine. Hope you have a lovely weekend with your friends xxx

Ah so glad you enjoyed your hen do gakay Great you can do your flowers, that's a big saving. We're not having flowers as we don't want it to be too wedding-y given that we're already married! So just having loads of lights for atmosphere.

Headf is totally right about my last cycle! Yeah, really hope it was just a one-off, I've been so regular since I came off bc. Only annoying thing is I'm fairly sure I'm going to peak this weekend (I'm on CD12 now and I've got my usual backache) and I'm away from tomorrow until Sunday night visiting friends! Such bad timing! Going to try and DTD tonight and tomorrow morning and good for the best!!

Hi soda. Yes, my hen do was amazing, thank you. The wedding flower workshop was absolutely wonderful and I now feel quite ready to do all the flowers for the wedding with the help of my BMS.

Yes, finally after DP chased her for me. Its all confirmed and we are going to have Pre-wedding shoot in Jan to get used to each other.

Oh yes, lighting... forgot about that...

Just so you know the CBFM can take a couple of cycles to get used to you. So don't worry if its showing strange results.

I haven't got the results - consultant said he will write to me. I'm going to Coventry clinic for more tests this Friday. These 3 cycles have gone by really quickly and I can start TTC in a few weeks!!

Gosh, your last cycle must be a bit of a mind f*. Hope your cycle is back on track now. May be its just your body protesting for your DH being away during the important days. Fx for you this cycle is the one.

Yes, we're going with the caterer we met who we really liked and now just sorting out music and lighting.

My last cycle was mad - AF finally arrived on day 38! I was going crazy! I was testing every day sure I was pg but also not believing as DH was away over my peak ovulation tests. Hopefully it was just a random cycle and I'll be back on track from now on. Going to throw everything at it - bought a clearblue fertility monitor and having acupuncture at crucial times in cycle - fingers crossed.

Have you got any results yet from your appointment?

Just back from RMC clinic. The consultant seems nice. He's not suggested anything new apart from 1 more blood test to be done which apparently was missed. He has no strong opinion regarding my plan to go to Coventry for the biopsy or the treatment if recommended. So I guess all good. He suggested I not to TTC for 3 cycles until all the results come back which is fine as that's when I'm planning to try again.

Don't think I'll do another trial cos its expensive. I'll just have to trust that she'll be able to create what I'd like.

I really don't know what to do - met a photographer we like a couple of weeks ago but she's not responded to my emails since. Found her phone number on her Facebook account. Not sure whether to phone or not in case she no longer wants to do our job and I'm stalking her.

Do you think you will go with this caterer or you'll try a few more?

Hi gakay nice to hear from you. Will you have another make up trial before the big day and ask her to concentrate on your eyes? I bet that sort of thing makes it seem really close? I met a potential caterer for our party yesterday and really liked him - he seemed to really understand what we wanted.

So I'm on CD33!! I'm usually 28-29 day cycle. Testing BFN at the moment so not sure what's going on. Wasn't expecting anything this month as we DTD cd12 but then DH was away with work after that but got positive OPK cd14 so you never know.... Most likely my body playing tricks though

The makeup trial went well. I like the makeup artist but thought may be I should ask her to get my eyes a bit more defined. I'm not very good at telling people what I like... have booked my hair trial for end of the month. Hope that would be good. Can't wait! DP took me out for drinks and Sunday lunch afterwards. I accidentally poured 1/2 glass of blood Mary on my trousers which gave me perfect excuse to go shopping and bought a new dress.

Am glad you felt good after acupuncture. I'm intrigued but not 100% convinced yet. Can't really afford trying it unless I'm convinced.

I'm on CD1 today. Feel quite excited as this means I'll be going to the coventry clinic soon and will be starting to TTC again in Dec!

I found the acupuncture really interesting. Ive been for 2 sessions now and going to another this weekend. Not especially relaxing at the time (needles!) but I felt good afterwards. She looked at my tongue and said she could tell that I still had some of the pill in my system and I'd been on it a long time etc. Not entirely convinced by it all but willing to give it a go. I've planned some sessions at key points in my next cycle like ovulation and DH is going to go for a session round then too! I'm on CD 27 now so expecting AF in next couple of days. DH was away with work when I got my positive opk so fully expecting AF but I can't help having a tiny bit of hope....

We have almost completely stopped DTD since the last mc. Think its more like a chore to DP and he's secretly pleased that he's not obliged to perform at the moment.

My recurrent mc clinic is in 2 weeks. Hope the consultant there is nice. He's the one who delivered Kate's baby Charlotte. Well, probably will only get to see his junior anyway. I hope they won't object to me going to the Coventry clinic to have my uNK cells checked and would follow their treatment protocol if the results come back as abnormal. This is still a controversial subject and not every consultants would agree...

Anyway, hope you have a lovely weekend.
I'm doing a 24h shift today :( but will have my makeup trial on Sunday and DP agreed to take me out afterwards.

gakay - February wedding buddies! How exciting! I think ours will be quite different - you're lucky you're so creative, I'm not at all creative I'm afraid and want to do as little DIY as possible! And also, with being married already we're really going for an evening party rather than a wedding. I'm glad you went for the dress you love - you're the one who's wearing it! And I'm sure when you're parents see you on the day they'll come round!

Yeah, I'm feeling less pressured this month. We DTD on Monday and Tuesday and then DH went away with work on Wednesday and I got my positive OPK on Thursday. I guess you never know but just accepting I missed it this month. I've got my first acupuncture appointment tomorrow which I'm looking forward to - will let you know how it goes.

soda may be its not a bad thing to take the pressure off for a month so you can relax and be well prepared again.

So we are both going to have our weddings in Feb! I'm thinking about doing my own flowers. Will be going on a flower arranging course as part of my hen do. I've decided to go for the dress that I love but my parents hate. Its really well-fitted. And guess now that I cant TTC again until Dec the earliest even if we get lucky the dress should still fit. I'm doing quite a bit of DIY stuff for the wedding which means I don't wanna do any work in the evenings or weekends.

Hi ladies. Was wondering about you all but lost this post. Still not pregnant. Soda was keeping my fingers crossed you got a honeymoon baby. Middle of fertile middle for me at mo. Had cramping pain (not bad at all) or about 2 days in left side of lower tummy near pevis. Hoping thats ovulation. Have been to see gp and he taken blood but too scared to see him re results...

Hi gakay, thanks for the message. It's just so frustrating - the more it doesn't happen the more stressed i feel even though the more stressed you are the less likely it is to happen!! Argh!!

Bad news is that my DH is away from today for a week with work which pretty much coincides with my fertile period for this month. In a bizarre way that's taken the pressure off a big this month!

Going to get acupuncture, have a healthy month and gear up for trying next month.

I'm glad you're enjoying wedding planning - it's a lovely distraction! We're having our party in February - it's a bit cheaper then and we didn't want to wait too long from our actual wedding or we worried it would seem a bit daft! We have a venue and caterer booked and have sent save the dates so just need to sort lighting and decorations! We're not going to have flowers or a cake etc because we want to make it more of a party than a wedding. I guess if I'm not pregnant by then the plus side is I can wear my lovely dress again!

What did you decide with dresses in the end?

Hi soda. Am so sorry that AF got you. It does feel very unfair and its really hard to see other people managing so quickly and easily. Yes, stress really doesn't help. My spotting stopped the one month I was most chilled and got pg not that it lasted long. I read many women here have tried acupuncture and found it relaxing so its probably a good idea.

Yes, it is a clinic for recurrent MC. Hopefully it would help us.

On a cheerier note. Went to a wedding show yesterday. Wedding planning is so much fun. When are you having your big wedding party?

I'm afraid AF got me. I was 2 days late (I've never been late) and it got me completely by surprise. I was totally gutted as I had convinced myself when I was late that this was the month but not to be.

I'm feeling really down about the whole TTC thing to be honest. It's been 6 months now and while I realise it can take a while it just seems that I'm the only one out of my friends thats taken more than a couple of months.

I know that stress doesn't help so going to really try not to think too much about it. Going to try acupuncture and see if that will help me relax a bit. And then I think we're going to go and get checked out in the new year and just make sure everything is working for us both.

Sorry for the miserable post!!

Is this the clinic for recurrent miscarriages gakay? I hope you get some answers there and can just relax and enjoy the next month without the stress of TTC xx

How are you doing? Have you got your BFP or did AF arrive? I really hope it's BFP. Sorry again for not being around.
My AF finally arrived yesterday - much later than usual. Have been so stressed and overwhelmed at work. In a way, it's good that we are not TTC'ing cos that would be add even more stress. 1.5 more cycle before we can go to the Coventry Clinic to get the special test.

Hello, me again! Hope you're all ok.

AF due today or tomorrow. No sign so far. But BFN this morning. I'm 12dpo. No particular symptoms to speak of but feeling quite achy and crampy but that could be AF coming. Will be so gutted if it turns up this month! Fingers crossed!
