The Rules of Bumsnet

You can shag, you can syringe, you can temp, you can OPK; as long as your aim is a BFP!

We're cliquey so fuck off. LPB will be annihilated.

Make sure you're on the ###Bumsnet Bumstats###

Oh Pug ive been thinking of you quietly and I hope all goes well for you tomorrow. xxx Thanks

Nomio230 · 26/04/2015 17:35

Pug, please don't worry that your posts are all about you right now.. It is completely understandable given what you are going through. We are all worried about you & hoping that tomorrow goes as well as possible. Flowers

Purdie, £92 of free clothes is pretty cool. Go you, with your capsooool wardrobe!

Juney, I would love it if the son of god was born to a single lesbian! Just think how all those bigoted old religious nuts would feel.

(I don't mean you lovely religious ladies, I mean the ones who think gay people should burn in hell, and are responsible for all the ills of the world.)

Queenbee30 · 26/04/2015 17:33

My DH just made me a hot water bottle without me asking. I might burst with love right now (and cry over hormonal happy tears)

Queenbee30 · 26/04/2015 17:31

Well here you are! You filled the thread whilst I was gone?! What have I missed?

Back from a massive Sunday lunch. I'm so full. My AF has kicked in with full force and I'm in cramping hell. Blargh.

But at least this cycle was only 35 days, rather than the 70 days previously! So new STATS for me...
####Queenbee30 ttc#1 cycle 3 bfp due 31 May ###

Pixa · 26/04/2015 17:29

Place marking. Three hours later and we are still building the bloody barbecue. We are very almost done though and the garden border has been replanted (where needed). Will catch up when we finish this thing.

juneybean · 26/04/2015 17:19

I'm obviously pregnant with the baby jesus.

pug I do try to be sensitive with the stats updating lovely xx

Oh Pug sending hugs your way. I can't even begin to imagine how awful this may be for you. We're all here for you so post away.

purdiepie · 26/04/2015 17:17

Juney, that temp is bonkers. I love the noo fred Grin

purdiepie · 26/04/2015 17:16

Just been to Matalan with my £92 voucher for work clothes wot i got offov t'Benefits Agency as the partner of someone on benefits! Got a load of things building towards a capsule wardrobe (ooo! get me!) Smile

Will catch up later when I've cooked, ironed, played with tot, bathed tot, made footie-watching rellies bacon butties, made sandwiches for work tomorrow and re-potted my fatsia japonica...

ThePug · 26/04/2015 17:14

Glad to hear you've been out and got some fresh air Boris . Sod the housework, that's been my motto forever this last week. There are piles of washing and random crap all over the place, for example, I'm sat on the sofa and there may or may not be a lawnmower next to me Grin

Spinning thank you for thinking of me. No progress naturally so looking like I'll be going under tomorrow morning. I have just been to Sainsburys and bought croissants and pastries to take into the hospital for breakfast afterwards and crossing my fingers I will feel like eating them. Have to fast from midnight tonight and hope my blood sugar levels behave.

I cannot wait to get out of this god awful nothingness phase and back into ttc as it just feels like I'm missing out on time and opportunity at the moment. I'm looking forward to getting back to my charting starting Tuesday and hope that familiar patterns start emerging. I am not looking forward to my 30th birthday at the end of May though as it is likely I'll get AF around then (which in a way will be good) and is more or less exactly when I'd have been 12 weeks and announcing it and had been imagining getting congratulations in birthday cards etc.

Juney thank you for quietly updating the stats for me. I stupidly looked in on the December AN thread the other day and saw my name had just gone which was a bit gut wrenching.

Starting Tuesday I promise I'll contribute more than me, me, me posts everyone else

DizzyMerry · 26/04/2015 17:12

Thanks ladies. I didn't know FF would confirm ovulation. I couldn't get through this ttc stuff without you lot.

Nomio it'll be interesting to see what the other sites come up with Hmm

Boris hope you're feeling we'll enough for work tomorrow. Get as much rest as you can this evening.

It's been a fairly quiet day here. My in laws came round earlier which was nice. It's sunny here and rather warm so off out now for a stroll with DH and DD.

Woolly84 · 26/04/2015 16:58

Same here glittery, snuggled up on the sofa not doing much!

boris hope you feel better soon, you should be selfish and focus on getting well again, housework can wait :-)

cremedecacao · 26/04/2015 16:55

Bagsy a seat!

I've been 'doing data' all day. In between googling "11dpo [insert symptom/lack of symptom]".

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 26/04/2015 16:44

Weather is cloudy and grey here too.
Snuggle up good and stick on your fave movie Brew

My motivation for doing anything has disappeared! ??

spinningirl10 · 26/04/2015 16:40

It's the same here Boris, sun tried to come out earlier but it's dull and cloudy.

Night, ah that sounds like my diet although not today. Alcohol makes me crave carbs!

Hairstylisttoboris · 26/04/2015 16:38

Thanks ladies.
I'm being thoroughly selfish at the moment. Not doing any house work etc.
I'm a bit miffed I missed the lovely weather last week, it's cold and grey here.

nightandthelight · 26/04/2015 16:37

It's mostly general healthy eating advice spinning e.g. wholegrains, plenty of fruit and veg, lean protein. It's good to have a list of them though in order to seek out recipes :)

spinningirl10 · 26/04/2015 16:35

Yay for the gardening and soup NightSmile I shall look out for your Zita West recipes, is there anything in particular she recommends?

Boris, take care not to overdo it at work. You don't want to make yourself worse. Well done on getting out for a bit, fresh air is good for perking you up a little.

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 26/04/2015 16:34

Boris hope you feel 100% soon been thinking of you x

Nomio230 · 26/04/2015 16:32

Merry, it looks as though today might be the day, but I don't know much about temping.

I just did an online quiz to see who I should vote for in the election. I got 60% UKIP & 40% Green Party. Confused I think I might try a different site!

Hairstylisttoboris · 26/04/2015 16:31

spinning I'm doing better thanks for the support :)
Up and about this morning, I even left the house! Dosed on meds tho. Resting again now. Back to work tomorrow (or the evil boss will assume I'm skiving). At least I can feel and act like a vaguely normal person!

nightandthelight · 26/04/2015 16:27

Go Dizzy!

Agree Merry that it looks hopeful but you will have to wait three days :)

I did my first bit of gardening today, planted some chilli plants! Also made Provencal Soup, feeling very virtuous Grin

Went through my Zita West book and worked out all the good foods, now just have to create a menu out of them!

DizzyMerry · 26/04/2015 16:26

Thanks ladies. Will continue temping and see whether FF confirms ov.

spinningirl10 · 26/04/2015 16:24

Merry, I agree with Boris, the dip looks hopeful. Keep temping and if they stay high then ff will confirm it in a couple of days.

Boris, how are you today?

spinningirl10 · 26/04/2015 16:21

Pug, if you're lurking how are you? Has anything started happening naturally or are you still heading in for the erpc tomorrow?
