MissMartin1992 · 26/04/2015 19:38

well its always been 26 days maybe 27 at most but last month it was 28 days and last cycle my strongest opk (darker tab the testline) was on cd 13 so around the 7th april.. so i suppose ill have a few days getting to know my body temp before i ovulate Smile

MissMrsMummy · 26/04/2015 19:35

Nic that's a good point about bad news... I am trying to stay positive and confident so maybe I won't join yet. I started typing a post last night then changed my mind! I guess I'm not ready. I joined one last month for one week then had to leave due to m/c. Felt bad for bringing the mood down! Though the ladies were lovely and helped me through.

coffee maybe almond milk and brazil nuts is the secret for success! I had both those too! Congrats again :-)

Southy84 · 26/04/2015 18:53

Wow missmartin 14! That's impressive. I had a consultation with a acupuncturist who told me to temp and to start straight away as although my cycle had begun it would start to give me an idea on what was going on. You aren't too far into your cycle so I would say it's not too late to start- at least when (or if) you get to your next cycle you will have most of the cycle to compare with.

I don't have experience in temping but I'm sure some of the other ladies on here will be able to help

DizzyMerry · 26/04/2015 18:43

I think you'll be fine to start temping from cd9 missmartin. How long are your cycles? Do you know when you usually ovulate?

MissMartin1992 · 26/04/2015 18:22

dizzy that is pretty cool! Grin ... do you think ill will be okay to start temping on cd9 ?? or shall i wait until start of next cycle instead?

MissMartin1992 · 26/04/2015 18:14

well i said last month if i didn't get a bfp ill try temping as some one mentioned even though i was getting a positive on my opk it didn't mean i was actually ovulating. . im not gna go crazy this month and test everyday before af is even due i actually have done 14 tests in 2 cycles!! wtf .. im stocked up with cb digital tests and frers ready for af time and i dont intend to waste these before af due date hehe... goodluck everyone xGrinx

DizzyMerry · 26/04/2015 17:28

I'm feeling a lot better now woolly thanks for asking. The shock has worn off. SIL left for Canada on Thursday and I spoke to her yesterday. She is doing well and I think that's due to being surrounded by her dad and siblings.

Temping is really insightful missmartin. I had no idea that FF can predict ovulation based on the info it has. How cool is that?! I need to get out more!!!

Southy84 · 26/04/2015 17:24

Hi mismrs and niknak glad you are both still about on here. It wouldn't be the same if everyone left. Hopefully the nausea won't stick around for long niknac

You're not out yet woolly Flowers I'm not too bad, im having a month of no OPKs or anything, feeling quiet relaxed actually. Felt quiet down after last months bfn so determined this month to wait wait wait (but we will see :) )

Will be starting up OPKs next month and will hopefully get my blood tests in too! Wish I was as proactive with the thermometer as you missmartin still trying to avoid it if possible but may crack soon

MissMartin1992 · 26/04/2015 16:55

thanks night Grin .. will do boris Grin ... yay i have FF again now

Hairstylisttoboris · 26/04/2015 16:35

Thanks for the new thread!

carrot! Woo hoop what a fab bit of news!

Treat your thermometers carefully ladies they can become unreliable if dropped or bashed.

nightandthelight · 26/04/2015 16:22

In your mouth Miss under your tongue is the norm :) some people do vaginally though!

MissMartin1992 · 26/04/2015 16:18

woolly! right ive just bought the same as you 'baby mad' and it comes with a BBT chart.. from ebay should be here on thurday... will it be okay to start then cz ill be on cd 9.. and a ovulation calculator thinks ill be most fertile 2-7th may. im gna try and fix my FF now
Grin

MissMartin1992 · 26/04/2015 16:10

great!! thanks... ill order one now... this is a stupid question but where do you 'insert' the thermometer haha ive googled it but i can't find anything about it useful really?..im locked out of my FF maybe i should delete and download again xxx

Woolly84 · 26/04/2015 15:58

missmartin I'm going to start temping too from next cycle, I ordered a babymad thermometer from Amazon.

dizzym how are you feeling now? SIL okay?

southy sorry I forgot to answer your question...AF is due on Tuesday I think. How are you? X

DizzyMerry · 26/04/2015 15:49

Missmartin you need a thermometer that records temp at 2 decimal places. I record mine on Fertility Friend.

MissMartin1992 · 26/04/2015 15:10

oh and congrats to you too carrot Grin Thanks Grin xx

MissMartin1992 · 26/04/2015 15:09

DizzyMerry · 26/04/2015 11:14

I'm glad you've had a lovely weekend woolly. Positive thinking there so keep it up. Cotswolds is on my list of places to visit and I'm hoping we get to go this year. Not sure whether I have ovulated or not. Will post my chart later for advice.

NicNak22 · 26/04/2015 11:05

missmrs Congrats again, I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow, starting to feel abit nauseous.

Joined an anti natal thread for December babies! But any bad news on there makes me to paranoid so I tend to come back to here.

Lots of BFPs from the April thread ladies xx

Woolly84 · 26/04/2015 11:03

Thanks ladies, I don't know what I'd do without you! Smile feeling better now, we're on our way home from a lovely weekend in the Cotswolds so I'm not letting this spoil my mood!

Yayy for ovulation dizzym!! Smile

tessiegirl · 26/04/2015 10:37

Thanks for the new thread Aux.

Congratulations carrot Flowers

Woolly I too am hoping it's just too early. It's not over yet.

Welcome back raviolig

I think FF has detected ovulation but I'm not too sure because I don't know what my chart should look like.

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 26/04/2015 09:12

Congrats carrot and coffee. Great news for you both!

Welcome (or should I say welcome back!) raviolig!

4 or 6 dpo here. No symptoms whatsoever!

coffeenut · 26/04/2015 09:07

Carrot!!!!!!! Huge congrats!!!!!! Flowers Smile

But so, so sorry woolly for bfn. I hope it's still too early but if not, then I have everything crossed next cycle will be the one for you lovely Flowers.

Thanks very much southy aux night and nicnak ... Southy* yes I may lurk if that's okay, very keen to see how you all go and too attached to piss off just yet!

Welcome back raviolig

night keep going, I reckon, cover all your bases - your DH will cope I'm sure Wink

Stats:
Both dh and I are 34, this is DC3
This was cycle 4
This cycle: I stopped drinking soy milk and switched to almond milk. 3/4 brazil nuts a day the whole cycle, loads of pineapple during the 2ww (greedy), some caffeine, some alcohol (inc small glass of wine at 7dpo), dtd btn cd4 and cd16.
Symptoms: had lower back ache and cramping from about 8dpo and lots of cm. I would say a bit of nausea, huge boobs, headaches & hot/cold but I get these pre-af anyway.

Before I disappear to lurksville, I can attach my latest chart if anyone is interested? I had a bit of a temp dip this morning!!
