Do you like feeling left out of a group? Do you enjoy being marginalised and isolated and picked-on? How about a good bullying? If so..you're in t'wrong place, cock, coz this 'ere is the TTC thread where you feel loved, embraced, encouraged, wanted, lusted after, admired, respected, thought-of with fondness, missed when you're away. We will even put up with your lazy, selfish bastard of a husband who would rather watch Chelsea romp through the Premiership than put a baby in your tum-tum.

Absolutely any old slag welcome, unless you already have a baby in your tum-tum and we're about as familiar with you as a condom. You can get lost Smile

Eskimo I was referring to the MN abbreviation: Leave The Basrd. Much prefer your definitions though Grin Aux will be impressed with those factoids!

Rainy we're cycle and headache buddies then Smile

eskimolaura · 15/04/2015 20:58

Mary's LTB? I just Googled and found these definitions:

LTB: Lift the balls. When you ask your significant other to lift your ball sack from your taint. This allows you to air out your balls with a cool fresh breeze of air. Typically, LTB is performed while you are laying down on your back.

Just came home from a long day at work, laid down on the bed and told my girl, "LTB." When my balls get sticky or sweaty, I just say the three letters, "LTB."

LTB: "low traffic bathroom". This is usually used in reference to bathrooms in public places, such as airports or convention centers.

LTB's are a desirous commodity, in that they provide one with a stench free place for defication, contemplation, urination, and mediation.

All the stalls in the first floor bathroom are full, and there are hobos performing handjobs in the second floor bathroom. The bathroom behind the kitchen next to the janitor's closet on the fifth floor is an LTB.

These are from the Urban Dictionary. There are 8 more definitions... Shall I go on?!!!

I assume you mean 'Looking to Buy'??? I wouldn't swap him. When I got home, he was wallowing in the bath, looking sheepish and I said 'So not only have you not handed over your spunk, but you are now boiling the poor buggers in your bath water?' And he replied 'The bath is tepid. I am not enjoying it. I am miserable and sorry.' Grin

spinning He didn't have a 'slot.' The GP gave him a pot with his name on it and the opening times of the clinic and sent him on his way. Good plan re. the ovulation. It doesn't matter to me if DH leaves it until next week or the week after as I am scheduled my withdrawal bleed next week and then hopefully HSG the week after.

Sparkly One more day of the spot-inducing Norethisterone. :)

Rainy34 · 15/04/2015 20:57

Marysprayer looks like i am you lol, i didn't realise that you could get ovulation headaches too, the things we have to go through!!!

babsbunny · 15/04/2015 20:56

Hi girls!...

Hope everyone is ok. Why do people think it's ok to tease about whether you are trying or not? Was I ever that insensitive? I hope not.

Sparkly, glad you're keeping strong you amazing woman.

Rainy, glad your headache is a getting better. They're pant aren't they?

Purdey, amazing opener. Spat my wine (guilty face) everywhere.

No idea what's going on with me cycle. CD22. Lost track of charting during house move (disaster) but reckon ovd early.

But good news, my nipples are really sore (never happens - usually pretty numb, sorry tmi). Probably cause I've had a bit of a bug and feeling run down.
Sorry for the me post.

So who's next to poas?

MarysPrayer · 15/04/2015 20:51

Glad I only had to type statistician not pronounce it.

juneybean · 15/04/2015 20:48

Me and Mummyofonesofar update the stats Grin

DizzyMerry · 15/04/2015 20:47

Hehe, love the intro purdie.

Marys sorry your friend is being insensitive. What a thoughtless thing to do but that's just it some people just don't think things through and are quite self absorbed Flowers

Sparkly sending positive vibes and every good thing your way for tomorrow.

Oyster I hate ikea and haven't been anywhere near the place for a good few years!

Sammy fantastic news about the scan and ovulation.

MarysPrayer · 15/04/2015 20:46

Aw, thanks lovelies.

Eskimo LTB! Not really of course. Glad you were both able to joke about it. Wanker, love it Grin

Thanks for updating my stats, whoever you are - juney?

Rainy glad the headache has cleared. Are you me?! I was the same yesterday and most of today. The fog is clearing now though.

Yokyil · 15/04/2015 20:41

Thank you juney Smile

Cariad2014 · 15/04/2015 20:40

I haven't read back but just thought I'd pop on to say that I had a scan today at 5 weeks which confirmed that I ovulated from my right tube-less side, so Purdie this does happen. The Dr didn't seem to think this was unusual, particularly given that the size of the uterus is no larger than a clenched fist, so in reality, the other tube doesn't need to move far to catch the egg on the other side.

ibeka · 15/04/2015 20:39

Hi all, sorry I'm a bit out of the loop as didn't look last night - had 10 pages to catch up!! Tonight DP is brewing beer with his bumchum best mate so I am all yours Grin

melon I hope AF was just being a bit tentative about her visit and is now firmly in residence?

night sorry about the work thing... I had a few people ask if I was pregnant when I had all the scans for the MMC. Eventually I just snapped at one and said 'I'm not. I was'. Felt bad afterwards as she was mortified and hugely embarrassed but people need to not be so nosey!!

sparkyl not long til your appointment now... good luck for it. The waiting must be unbearable but at least you'll have some answers.

marys hi - you don't need that bother. Stick with friends you know will support you. Or with us Smile

I have been feeling pretty low since returning to work. Last night I had a complete melt down on top of the melt down in the toilets at work . After a long chat DP sent me off to bed with a book and an internet ban, hence my absence from here. I felt a bit better today, helped by a negative hpt and opk this afternoon so I'm officially back in the game.

Tomorrow I have a hospital appointment. When I had my MMC they asked if I was willing to be part of TABLET, a study looking at thyroid anti-bodies and miscarriage and whether taking thyroid hormones can prevent MC due to antibodies and they took some blood to test me for the antibodies (about 5% of women have them). I have been called to go in and discuss the results. I assume this means I have the antibodies. I know knowledge is power and all that but knowing I have something that has been proved to increase the chance of miscarriage and pre-term birth has made me feel even more anxious about any future pregnancy.

spinningirl10 · 15/04/2015 20:39

Haha Eskimo I did chuckle there at the end but shame he missed his sperm slot. Dp has to do his again soon but I think we'll get ov out the way first.

juneybean · 15/04/2015 20:39

I bloody love IKEA Oyster what did you buy?!

juneybean · 15/04/2015 20:38

Sorry Victoria stats have been duly updated! Grin

Oysterbabe · 15/04/2015 20:37

We'll all be thinking of you Sparkly I hope the next 12 hours pass quickly.

DP just tricked me into going to IKEA. Just driving back from our meeting with our wedding venue and he's all casual like, let's just stop into IKEA and I had no choice because he was driving. He knows I don't do shopping, most of all IKEA.

spinningirl10 · 15/04/2015 20:36

Sparkly, you have an early appointment then? I'll wish you luck now as I doubt you'll be on here early morning! I'll be thinking of you and am so hoping for a positive outcome.

Sammy, sorry I missed your update. Sounds like your scan went well and you ovulated, fantastic news. Did everything else look good?

Yokyil · 15/04/2015 20:35

Will the powers that be add another set of stats....purleezzeee? Grin
29 TTC #1 Cycle 5 BFP due 1st May at the latest.
Gonna go back to the last fred and get caught up with all the happens.

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 20:33

Eskimo well hopefully dh can get in soon. It sounds like he's had a busy day. Are you finished the pill yet? Thanks for the nice wishes Flowers

Rainy thanks lovely. Obviously I will update you all. Glad headache has eased off Flowers

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 20:30

Spins I doubt very much he will most likely need to go back to work I think. I dunno. I'm hoping I'll just take it in my stride tomorrow and keep it together. I keep thinking I've prepared myself for what I know is the outcome but I guess when someone confirms it that will be the hard point. We shall see..! Only just over 12 hours to go.. Not that I'm counting Hmm

Rainy34 · 15/04/2015 20:29

great opening to a new thread Purds!!!,
Just read the old thread and have had to copy and paste the following innit!!

Sparkly i am going to send you all my best and will be thinking of you tomorrow and wish you the best of luck!!!

Nightandthelight ohh some people can be so insensitive, people automatically jump to conclusions when people are ill, they think its fun to spend rumours, rise above it and one day those rumours will be right!!

SammyLou glad your dildocam went well and could see that you ovulated, when i had mine in December she told me that i had ovulated on my left side and then she said its not completely certain , i think they probably have to cover there own backs!!

Babsbunny I had to go to bed last night with the headache, it would not go on its own, seems to have eased off now!!

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 20:28

Vic has it sunk in yet lovely?!

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 20:27

Oh Marys sorry you are having a bad day. I'm sorry your friend was more interested in being out with others instead of being there to support you. I think some people are quite self involved. But we ain't on here and we are here for you!!! I know it's a blurgh time especially on first cycle post mc but you are taking big steps forward by trying again and your BFP could be just around the corner. You can do this! It's a roller coaster but you will absolutely come out the other side, and you will have a lovely BFP in the end. Flowers

eskimolaura · 15/04/2015 20:26

You can have all the hugs in the world Marys What an insensitive FB post that was.

Sparkly I hope you're ok my lovely. Hang on in there, and good luck for tomorrow.

Purds The interview clobber sounds like it will do the trick. The best of luck for tomorrow (it is tomorrow, right?). You knock 'em dead! (Just make sure they get back up again and give you your job!)

My DH overslept and didn't get his spunk to the clinic. He's now aiming for Monday. He's gutted that he's let us down, but he was up at 5 to do a gym shift, home at 12 and then had a nap and didn't realise he had to get it there for 2. I said 'You have one thing to do... 1 THING! Jizz in a cup.' I wasn't cross for long. He was really sorry and had to go back to work for 6pm til 10. He is just exhausted. Before he went, he saw me on my laptop and said 'Oh no, you're not telling the women on Mumsnet that I didn't take my sperm in are you?' And I said 'Yes, and they'll all call you a wanker for missing the clinic.' Oh how we chortled at the irony. Grin

spinningirl10 · 15/04/2015 20:24

Just looked at the stats, someone's made a fab job of them, I see I'm the only ageless ladyGrin
Purdie, when's your birthday?

Hairstylisttoboris · 15/04/2015 20:22

I have arrived, innit.
