Sounds good Tori :)
I hope u managed some sleep last night and no cluster feeding!

I hope ur headache has gone today Lulu and ur feeling more urself Flowers

Ducky I was in such a foul mood last night Grin and my DS was the same Ducky, it's hard work as well. Sometimes u can't just leave them to cry sometimes u have to get up and get them. I promise u it gets better, there will still be the odd bad day but it gets better.
DS goes to sleep 8:30:9pm (earliest he will go!) and has been sleeping till 7:30am which is so much better than before. I can understand how exhausted u must be.

I'm also exhausted today. It's been non stop. Work was absolutely manic! Then I get DS and come home and so much to be done. Then I had to rush and get my cousins from school as my mom was meant to get them but she forgot! U should have seen me waddling as fast as I could to the school Grin my bump has really grown in the past week it's absolutely huge already! Will have to put s bump pic up in the next few days :) still not had my physio appt come through so going to call up tomorrow to see what's going on. I'm sat down with DS now, he's got his milk and I've got my cuppa tea :) watching hollyoaks haha. Can't wait for bed!!

Ducky23 · 04/06/2015 06:18

Ha cupcake I regularly think that while looking through Facebook, think it just got worse when I was pg! Grin

Lulu hope your feeling better!

Torie I hope ollie slept ok for you last night. Can't beleive how much he eats!

I am so so tired Hmm I really don't know what's going on with ds. He didn't get to sleep until 9pm last night, then he woke at 4am and was just squealing to himself, I gave him some water but then he just cried for milk, after his milk he slept for around 30 mins and decided it was morning. He used to be such a good sleeper Sad

My midwife used to say never get up with them at stupid o clock because they will expect it then, but I don't have a choice cus h has to get up for work and he kept him awake for a good while too. I never thought the day would come that I would think a lie in would be until 6.30 Blush

Cupcake, DS wasn't good on Monday - the day I would have given him away for tuppence.

I get like you hae described. Some days noise is just like a red rag to a bull I am so sensitive to it. Last week we went to a garden centre to get some plants and there was a woman with two boys and she was really loud, not shouting just wanting everyone to hear what she said. I wanted to thump her it grated on me so much.

Am crap wife tonight. Have headache. DH has been so nice to me and wanted to chat and cuddle and I just want to be left alone in a cool dark bedroom. I am grumpy. He is working in the study looking hurt.

I'm relieved too Lulu! Glad he wasn't sick tho or worse :) he's absolutely fine now as if nothing had been wrong. Ur DS seems to be a very well behaved boy most of the time Lulu! :)

I don't know what's up with me today! I'm so stressed and getting easily annoyed! Someone is playing loud music from their car and I just want to go and punch them in the face and tell them to shut that racket up!
Also i don't get why people have to be so bitchy too, all on Facebook its bitch bitch bitch. All girls saying things, men never seem to bitch lol going away for the weekend with my mom to Whitby which I'm looking forward too. I need the break Grin

LuluJakey1 · 03/06/2015 19:24

Cupcake, I am so relieved about your cat. It didn't sound like a hairball. Thank goodness he is OK!

I have been to Richmond today to meet MIL for lunch and a walk. She just loves DS who behaved beautifully.

Cupcake92 · 03/06/2015 19:05

Tori that sounds good. I don't rele see any other mommies at all! All my
Friends disappeared when I got pregnant. I have one friend and she is expecting her 3rd child now so is very busy as u can imagine Grin

Ducky.... My DS was doing very similar? Confused and trust me a lot of babies don't sleep through till 2 years old some of them!
I tried water but DS hated it, I used some baby juice watered down instead and he preferred that, but I found he wouldn't go back to sleep if he didn't have milk in the night. At 7 months old DS was having weetabix and then a 4oz bottle (it was 6 but was told I had to cut it to 4!) then have a nap. then he'd have lunch at 11:30 and a bottle an hour after (4oz) then have a nap :)
I can't remember if he'd have an afternoon one before dinner? But he'd have dinner then a bottle after his bath and when he was ready for bed. (Then sometimes porridge at about 10 to help him sleep)
It says once weaning they need 21oz a day of milk :) as milk is the main source of nutrition till they are 1 still.

Hope that helps Ducky! :)

Ducky23 · 03/06/2015 18:50

Right, didn't want to start a thread on this incase I get flamed so I wanted to ask your opinion on something.

During the day ds currently has 7oz bottles every 3 hours, he is now also having 3 meals a day and manages to get a lot in him! Shock (He just wolfed down spaghetti bolognaise!) he has his last bottle around 10/10.30 then he will wake around 4am (ish) for a feed and then will usually go another hour or so before waking up having breakfast at around 7am (usually weetabix with 2oz of milk) and then having a full bottle around 20/30mins after.

The HV was speaking to me about weaning today and she thinks that instead of a 4am feed I should give him water instead of milk. She said most babies his age are going 7-7 now.

I don't know what to do now. What does everyone think?

My message vanished!

Lil, glad that ds is growing well. How heavy now?

Cupcake, great news that the cat is better. It's so hard with animals isn't it! Vets are so expensive nowadays!

Tori, I'm not in that area. But I have all made up images of you all in my head Smile

Lill good news about the health visitor! :) always nice to hear ur baby is growing well! :)

Cupcake92 · 03/06/2015 09:31

Ducky don't worry I bet she'll love it! :) such a nice thing of u to do for her!

Tori it must be exhausting feeding so long! I'm worried about that as I know I'll end up giving up and moving onto formula but I rele don't wanna do that!

Cat is fine! :) said it must have been a hair ball he had. He's okay now and looks fine etc. :)

Lillamyy1 · 03/06/2015 09:25

That's something I'm not looking forward to when DS is on solids Ducky - gross nappies! DP is squeamish enough about changing DS now Hmm
The health visitor came yesterday and said DS is healthy and growing well. Smile we've been going to lots of mum and baby groups and he's being really smiley Smile He's still waking up 3 times in the night but isn't up for so long each time.

Ducky23 · 03/06/2015 08:34

How's the cat cupcake?

Tori do you think your husband had any idea what you were up to? I think dm doesn't but there have been a few slip ups recently which means she got a tiny bit suspicious for a couple of days.

Lil, he loves it! But it doesn't seem to fill him up at all! Shock And this morning his nappy was full of chunky bits of carrots Shock

Lillamyy1 · 03/06/2015 08:25

Oh tori how tiring! DS feeds for about an hour at a time and that was tiring enough, especially at night! I'm very Envy jealous that you've lost weight! Bf makes me ravenous! I've been eating so badly - a pack if biscuits every night last week Blush
Cupcake that's so cute about DS1 loving his new bed! I hope your cat's ok Flowers
Ducky I'm glad your DS is enjoying his food!

Cupcake, I would be quite worried about your cat. Noises and drowsiness and heaving are not good signs. You need to get him seen asap tomorrow. I hope he is OK. Let us know. I will worry about him.

Ducky23 · 02/06/2015 20:54

Yea take him vets first thing.

So nervous about Saturday! She's really not expecting it, especially as her birthday isn't until the following week. I had to do it early because we booked someone to be there who she LOVES and they could only make it that week.

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 02/06/2015 20:50

He's not drank a lot no. He's making. Such a weird noise now. DS is trying to copy him! He sounds like he's sneezing but he rele isn't sneezing! Looks drowsy too :s

I think the vets is a good idea tomorrow Confused

LuluJakey1 · 02/06/2015 20:26

Take him to the vet in the morning Cupcake. That sounds very odd. Has he got something stuck in his stomach do you think? Poor cat.

Ducky23 · 02/06/2015 19:48

Oh no cupcake! Do you know if he's been drinking? Do you have any chicken you could offer him? How has he been in himself? Poor kitty.

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 02/06/2015 19:31

That's good he's put on weight Tori! :) and yes I think I'm the only one left who's pg! Shock

Yes Ducky I'm glad he's a right wiggler! :) ooo I hope the surprise party goes well! How lovely of u to organise one! :)

There's something wrong with my poor car :( think I might have to take him to the vet.
He keeps sort of heaving? He's been doing it all day, he's tried to eat but hardly eaten. He's not been sick or anything just keeps doing this weird motion like he's heaving. Confused

Ducky23 · 02/06/2015 14:51

Thts great about the movement cupcake Grin shame about the spd though. Your pregnancy seems to have flown by!!!

Tori looks like your little man is doing really well! Grin

I'm just off to the shops. Have been planning a surprise birthday party for dm since January. It's this weekend Shock just hAve to get the finishing touches, candles and things. Hope it goes ok Confused I've spent so long planning it all!

Although with a few days to go my grandad nearly let the cat out the bag! My aunt lives far away and she's coming over for the party, my db needed to stay at my grandads and he said loudly in front of dm 'you will have to sleep in the small room Saturday though as da is staying the night in the big room'Confused my mom keeps saying 'he's losing the plot, he's convinced himself that da is coming to stay with him!' Grin

Tori uve lost a lot of weight! It's probably all that feeding DS is doing! He's draining the weight off u Grin

Lulu my DS is still like that now, he can be awful and misbehaved and then suddenly his nana pops round and he's an angel! Like butter wouldn't melt haha.

Ducky the lie in was great but! Because I'd had longer in bed I was in a lot more pain when i woke up! This bloody spd ruins the good things lol Grin I've still not had my own physio appt come through yet! I think if I don't get it in the next few days I'll have to call the doctor up.
It's hard work making all those meals isn't it Ducky? And the amount of milk u get through too is a lot when u start to wean! It was expensive for me ! A tub of formula £10! And using around 2 tubs a week... £20 a week on milk!

DS was very cheerful this morning, I got up and went into his room and he was sat at the end of his bed with his feet hanging over the side Grin DS2 has been very active this morning I've felt rather a lot of kicks! Still not very strong just little ones. I have my 20 week scan next week! Shock can't believe that's half my pregnancy gone! How fast has that been!! I'm shocked! Will check that DS2 is still a boy! Grin
