Cupcake, this isn't too far from Derby, I don't know if you'd like to go? I'm going my mum lives up the road in Shipley. Ilkeston's pretty grin but this event looks great!

Aww Cupcake, your DS is just gorgeous it's a woven wrap I've got, called an ellaroo. It's lovely colours, turquoise, lilac, deep purple and blue. DS likes being in it sometimes but it's her times he gets a bit cross, I think he sometimes feels a bit restricted in it. But the woman who showed me how to use it had her great big toddler in hers, so it'll last for ages
Tori, it was the one at the corner! Have you been before? There were so many babies and children there, it was packed and very noisy! They had loads of slings to borrow as well. I'd like to try a stretchy one next time.

Ds2 is kicking like mad!! Dunno what he's found in there but each time he kicks it's very sharp!

Cupcake- snap the wire hook off a coathanger and have a go with the hanger at unblocking it. It usually works. Take a bin bag in with you to put the coat hanger in afterwards.

It is red hot again here. All doors and windows open upstairs and down at the back of the house. Last night we slept with no cover on the bed.

Lawn looks parched. DH out there now watering it.

My DS seems much better today thanks Still a bit snotty but in a much happier mood.
It wad great at the sling meet, I learnt a really easy way to tie my wrap sling.
I think it's time to start putting DS to bed at the same time every night and using the baby monitor. I just take him up with me whenever I go, but he always falls asleep around 8 so I should start putting him to bed then I think.

DS is sleeping rele well Ducky! Bet ur very happy with him! :) and no the toilet isn't sorted put more unblocked down will see if it works if not looks like I'll have to call the plumber!

Lulu it was cold here last night. I woke up because the quilt had fallen off me and I was freezing! Can u send some warm nights my way?

I've got up to get ready for work this morning and come downstairs to the toilet blocked and over flowing!! I've put some unblocking stuff down it that I had and clean up everywhere.
DS is very happy this morning he keeps smiling at me! I've added a photo of him and his cheesy grin! :)
He'll be 2 years old in 2 months! He's growing up so so fast! :(

Ducky, my memory is like a sieve at the moment. I forget names of people and things all the time. It worries me but then I do something very complex and have to remenber and manipulate lots of info and have no problem and realise there is nothing wrong.

Also, loo issues. Have just taken two Dulcolax. How you don't go for a week I can't imagine. It is Sunday night since I went and I am really upset by it. I hate it. I had awful problems after an illness once and it scares me now.

DS and DH are both asleep. I am lying here drinkng lots of water and have an electric fan on it is so hot here.

Ooh I forgot about the cyst! I hope it's gone cupcake. How lovely feeling the baby wiggles that was the only enjoyable thing about my pregnancy! Well, that and looking forward to meeting DS it seems like a really long time ago but he's not even 8 wks yet. His nappies have been wet and he's had a couple of short feeds this eve so I'm a bit less worried now. He's slept a lot today though so I hope he also sleeps well tonight. We fell asleep together on the sofa earlier, he was on my chest it was the best nap I've had for a long time!
Ducky, you should get those pics of your DD printed - like you said, it would be awful if you lost them. I don't trust digital photography for exactly that reason - if a photo doesn't physically exist it can so easily be lost.
Going to a sling meet tomorrow morning, I'm hoping someone will show me how to tie my wrap sling properly because I'm rubbish at it!

Ducky, that sounds awful :( the things we go through for children aye! I bet it's rele frustrating tho. Tmi but since being pg I don't go! Lol! Can go a good few days without going at all. It's awful!

Bless ur DS Lill. Hope he gets better soon! As Ducky said as long as he's still feeding at least half his usual amount that's okay and as long as his nappies are still wet often too. Then u know he's hydrated.
Oh and Lill do u have a bouncer? I used to take it into the toilet and put DS in it !

Baby has been moving a lot tonight! It's been great :) I tapped my stomach and he did a huge wiggle ! I have my 20 week scan on Friday! :O come round so fast! Hooping everything is okay and hope that cyst I had has disappeared!

Oh also his tummy is rumbling lots as if he's hungry but he's asleep and hasn't woke up for food...

Oh Ducky I have the same toilet issue! it's because when I'm at home by myself I don't have time to go, or I'm worried if I leave DS and go he'll start crying while I'm mid-poo!! So I don't bother and it has caused some issues
Very funny about your DS laughing about his farts! Mine smiles when he sneezes!
Talking of which, he's been sneezing more than usual because he's got a cold! That must be why he was so fussy yesterday and why he slept so well last night. Today he woke up with a crusty nose and runny eyes, bless him. He's got a bit of a cough too. I think it's from my friend's 5 yr old, they visited last week and the little boy was really excited about DS and kept coming over to look at him but then kept coughing right next to him! His mum didn't tell him not too but after the second time I told him myself! Poor DS. He seems ok in himself now but I'm worried he hasn't fed as much as usual today - should I be worried??

It's probably just sleep deprivation Ducky, it can have some very odd effects!

We didn't use a flotation device this times, he just has a teeny tiny wetsuit! We do have one of those yellow floats that we got for DD but left it at home!

Aww Ducky bless u! Having a baby can have an affect on ur memory. There rele is such a thing as baby brain! Have u been stressed at all? Or over worked? Or something on ur mind that may be bothering u? All of those things can affect ur memory.

That's great Ducky! :) glad ur getting more sleep now. I used to love hearing them babble In the cot seeming so happy :) DS just shouts "mama" or "ahhhhhhhh!" Really loudly..

Lill u get little blow up rings with a seat inside it that they sort of sit in :) DS still uses his when he wants to kick and swim but he also has a vest that's supposed to help but it doesn't rele help him float and I can't rele afford a private physio :( I do have a birthing ball tho, must get that out. I loved that last time!
And well done on ur DS sleeping well too Lill!!

Must be something in the air! Me and DS went to bed early last night as I was too tired and DS has only just got up at 8:30am!! I hope everyone else had a good nights sleep. These are rele helping boost my energy!
