Tears lol. Too tired to type!

I wouldn't advise using one cupcake, it might make you too relaxed! You don't know what to listen out for.

Sounds lovely lulu.

I'm exhausted. We came to bed at 10 and ds has already been up twice, the first time I fed him now he's just crying until I hold him. I'm sat here in years I'm so tired Hmm I really don't know what to do. He won't even have his dummy which is strange, he just spits it out Hmm

Cupcake - try to stop worrying. I remember when I was 8 weeks the consultant tellng us that women who reach 8 weeks, something like 98% go on and have a healthy baby. It was really some huge number like that.

We are looking forward to them being around. They are looking at some houses next weekend. Smile

Cupcake92 · 16/04/2015 22:38

I'm worried he might have Ducky as he's been very off it these past few days n getting worse.
I'm going to stop his nap as well see if that helps him to go to sleep at night better as he's got awful recently. He's only just fallen asleep!

Lulu that sounds like a lovely peaceful night! I am jealous! :) and I'm sure they wouldn't blame u for them moving. They have their reasons and it's all their idea :) I think ull all be really happy.

I've ordered a fetal Doppler that I go and pick up tomorrow. You can use it from 12 weeks. Not sure whether to try it out or not or would I worry more? Atm I'm so worried about it all and get myself worked up wondering if things are okay in there

LuluJakey1 · 16/04/2015 22:32

We are tucked up in bed and DS is asleep. The cats are asleep downstairs and everything is quiet and peaceful. It's bliss. DH is listening to music on his headphones so he's not talking and I am lying here with my ipad.

Hope Lill is having a peaceful night! Hope DS settles Cupcake- that is all you need, a wideawake toddler half the night. Hope the Duckling sleeps with his little tummy full too Ducky, you sound like you could do with a good night's sleep.

SIL texted to say Grandmas were 'accepting' about her moving up here. I hope they aren't all blaming me for DH and her both moving away Hmm Although, to be fair, DH had moved up here before he met me.

Ducky23 · 16/04/2015 22:09

There is a few bugs going round at the moment, maybe he's cAught one Confused

Hope lil is doing ok Grin

I'm not rele sure what's wrong with him :( I've been at work and got DS after and his dad said he'd not eaten anything all day just a packet of crisps as he refused his lunch.
I made him dinner tonight and he wouldn't touch it :/ he's still awake now playing on his iPad and doesn't look at all tired. I've tried putting him to bed and all hell broke loose and I just don't have the energy to fight tonight :/

And yes first time I gave DS solids he slept like and extra 2 hours it was amazing lol!
If DS is taking food well don't be afraid to give him more. As long as his main diet is his milk still then it's fine :)

Ducky23 · 16/04/2015 21:10

Oh no cupcake.! What's he up to? Hope he goes to sleep soon. I'm hoping ds sleeps better tonight, I was up 8 times last night for cuddles, then up and awake at 5.30/6 Confused

When you weaned ds, did he sleep through from the first days you gave him a couple of spoon fulls? I'm a bit worried, ds tried his stuff and loved it, he kept puckering his lips. I tried to give him a bottle before he went to sleep and he just kept puckering his lips so I have him a tiny bit more and he scoffed it down! I feel so lost with it all! Can't wait until this dietitian appointment!

Aw bless ur DS ducky

Or hopefully she's having so many cuddles with Her baby to update! :D

Hi laura! If u try and track ov by doing ov tests everyday so u don't miss it that would help :)

I'm feeling pretty crap tonight. DS is playing up, I feel stressed and I just wanna go to bed :(

Ducky23 · 16/04/2015 20:00

Hi Laura!
How long have you been TTC? Have you spoke to your gp about irregular periods? Are you tracking ov? (I know it's difficult when they're all over the place!)
Sooo many questions! Grin

Laurawx · 16/04/2015 19:48

Hi ladies can I join?
Ttc and desperately failing Sad I have a beautiful DD and she's 10 months old but she was a miracle because I'm very skinny and hardly got my periods. Now I'm trying all the time and getting no where. I can't track my periods because they are few and far between xxxx

LuluJakey1 · 16/04/2015 19:15

Or maybe she is too busy pushing to be on MN. Smile

Ducky23 · 16/04/2015 19:08

He's on the mend apparently but sounds awful Hmm

I know I really want to hear from her! Maybe she has rubbish signal in the hosp.Confused

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 16/04/2015 18:30

Hope Lill is doing okayy

Cupcake92 · 16/04/2015 15:27

Glad DS is on the mend Ducky! :)

Oo Lill how's it going???????

With weaning they say to gradually move them onto it. Like start with a few mouthfuls, then onto 1 meal a day, then 2 then 3 and just gradually move them onto it. By 1 years old they should be having 3 meals a day of food :)

Ducky23 · 16/04/2015 15:01

It's miserable here today lulu!

I have no idea about it all, the consultant just told me to try starting him on them but I didn't even think to ask how to go about it! I have the dietitian appoinyment coming up so will know more then Grin

OP posts:
LuluJakey1 · 16/04/2015 14:03

Yes Ducky, she sees them a couple of times a week at least. She is going to see the grandmas tonight to tell them.

Sounds like the Duckling is on his way to being weaned Smile How long does it take before they have whole meals that are not milk? I haven't read up on it yet but I had better because you are just a few weeks ahead of me.

Fingers crossed for Lill today.

DH has taken DS out and I am sunning it in the garden.

Ducky23 · 16/04/2015 13:55

And it's started..... I'm already looking for lil updates! Confused

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 16/04/2015 11:58

He just had his normal bottle then a try of the banana one Grin he loved it!

Didn't you wean ds at 4 months cupcake? How did you do it? I have no idea how much he wants/needs and when to give it! I guess he still has his normal bottle first

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 16/04/2015 11:39

Was she close to them before lulu?

What time you going in lil?

Consultant saw him, he said he is fine, just getting over his bronch still. He advised me to maybe start. Trying him with some puréed food so have just been and brought some Ella's kitchen stuff Grin exciting!

Thanks everyone Smile I'm a bit nervous but not as much as I was yesterday. My mum's coming with me because DP has to work until 6pm.
I hope they find out what's wrong with DS today Ducky.

LuluJakey1 · 16/04/2015 08:48

SIL has just rang to say PIL very happy but a bit upset that she is moving up here too! Said at least it is the same place so they won't be driving all over the country to see their children.

They have to stay where they are because of grandmas otherwise I think they might move as well Smile

DS has been awake since just after 5- bright as a button.

Ducky23 · 16/04/2015 08:40

Good to know I'm not the only one cupcake Confused they think I'm nuts! But each time he's been ill I've known and known what it was before them! My gps have been utterly useless. Luckily the hospital have been amazing to us

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 16/04/2015 07:27

Good luck today Lill!!!! Grin keep positive and it'll all go perfectly :) I'm at work all day so will try my hardest to pop in a see what's been happening :)

And aw no Ducky :( ur poor DS. Ur situation with DS sounds exactly like mine with my DS on his 1st year. He was always in hospital being sick and pooping like mad! And wouldn't eat, and doctors thought I was crazy and kept sending me home. Finally I got cross and demanded some tests and turned out he had Rotavirus! So I was right all along. So u stick at it and make sure they do something to make him better :) I hope he feels lots better by the end of the day.
