Tori I have the Ex coming with me. He wants to come.

Thanks Siarie. Yes I'll deffo post a picture :)
That'll be nice to join some mum groups. Go for a coffee and a play :) im sure there's lots of lovely people where ur going.
Also glad the health visitor went well :)

I feel so sick atm. I just want to throw up.
And DS doesn't help either. He keeps shoving so much food in his mouth which results in him chocking! And it's got so bad as he wouldn't bring up the last lot about an hour ago. I just panicked so much and burst into tears when he coughed it up. Then he gave me a hug lol. I've tried cutting his food up really small but he just grabs loads and piles it into his mouth. I've tried giving small amounts but I dunno :( it's awful.

Siarie · 21/04/2015 11:33

Congrats Lil he's gorgeous.

Lulu fingers crossed he gets the job, always nice to go up in pay if you can!

cupcake hope you scan goes well, keep us updated and maybe post a picture later if you get one? It would be nice to see how he/she has grown.

I had the health visitor today, all a bit weird as we are moving out of the area next month so I'll be switching care. But she seemed nice enough, looking forward to starting a new life in a new location and signing up to some local mums things. Maybe I can even get myself a nice little groupie going on, that would be good. I haven't really had any friends locally for over a year now so it would be nice to start building up some familiar faces.

And thanks Tori. I'm feeing really anxious about it now. Just to go back to the hospital and same room to be scanned in where all the bad news happened. Just hoping to hear good news.

Hi everyone, hope all's well. I haven't had a chance to catch up with the thread yet as just out of hospital. I'll have a catch up and let you know all about it in the next few days but for now here's a pic of my brand new DS Grin

LuluJakey1 · 20/04/2015 19:45

Good luck tomorrow Cupcake. Hope it all goes really well.

Sairie, DS was like that for a few weeks and he does well most nights now but does not sleep much during the day. Manages about half an hour in the morning and the same about half 3 ish. Wants to be entertained a lot too now- although he is easily entertained. He just likes company.

No weaning plans Ducky, not even contemplating it for at least another month. He is fine with formula at the moment- still sleeping well at night. I must read up on it. How is DS doing with it?

DH has found a job to apply for in a local school on the Leadership Team.It would be a good salary increase.

Cupcake92 · 20/04/2015 18:35

Oh gosh lots of questions for the consultant then lol

Feeling sick tonight because I'm getting nervous Confused

Ducky23 · 20/04/2015 09:23

I can't wait cupcake! Maybe find out what will happen if you go into labor and the pool room is occupied - sometimes at my hospital they would put people in the pool room when they didn't request water births Angry and maybe find out if they have the monitors that monitors baby when your in the pool?

Glad you had a nice time tori Smile you have a lot going on ATM! Make sure you get plenty of rest and don't over do it Grin

siarie, ds was very much like that when he was weeny, now it's a fight to get him to nap! Grin

Have just put him down for his morning nap Smile he's still poorly tho Hmm

I feel like I'm being tricked into a false sense of security. DD sleeps, eats and poops, three hour intervals then straight back to sleep.

It's making for a great rotation at night as me and DH are sharing the feeds. Something has to change it seems to easy at the moment, we even watched a film last night the whole way through and played a game together!

Oh and we went out for a coffee and cake, bumped into friends all while she slept Shock

No Ducky it doesn't have a screen which is a let down :( it's an Angel sounds one. But it's amazing and so clear. And only cost me £20! As it was on offer Grin

Work today then scan tomorrow! Still feeling nervous about it. Just want It all to go well.
I have an appointment with the consultant straight after and my midwife said if I wanted a water birth I need to mention it to the consultant now as I won't see him till I'm 36 weeks. There's only 1 water birth room in the consultant led part of the hospital :( I need to write a list of questions for him lol

Ducky23 · 19/04/2015 22:00

Hope you all had a lovely weekend tori Smile

Anything nice for dinner lulu? Ds is 19 weeks tomorrow, it's mad how quickly it's gone! What are your plans for weaning?

Glad your feeling reassured cupcake Smile is it one with a digital screen so you can see the HB rate?

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 19/04/2015 21:15

Gosh*

Cupcake92 · 19/04/2015 21:15

It really is Lulu :) still nervous about the scan fho.
Gish Lulu 16 weeks has flown by!

Tori how was the surprise weekend? Did DH like it? :)

LuluJakey1 · 19/04/2015 20:30

How did your DH's weekend go Tori? Did you all enjoy it? How many weeks are you now?

DS is 16 weeks on Tuesday. I can hardly believe how quickly it has gone. Smile
