Tori I was the same when pg with DS. I don't know if I told u but I couldn't even lie down the last month of my pregnancy and slept on the sofa sat upright.

Siarie yes I've seen those body pillows and I'm 100% going to get one. They look very good and much better than me placing tons of pillows all around me Grin

DS never had a nap in the day yesterday, he didn't eat his dinner Tho as he was so tired so i thought he'd wake up so so early because he'd be hungry. Well.... He fell asleep at 7pm!!! Shock he's never done that! And guess what? ..... He's STILL asleep now!! I can't believe it Grin I went to bed so early and I've got so much sleep myself I'm already awake Grin

Siarie · 12/05/2015 03:31

My spd was terrible but soon as I got that body pillow and I mean a cushion helped but a full body pillow stopped my spd flaring. I must have been sleeping in a certain position that strained it then they mixed with walking in the day really caused little episodes. But like I said with the pillow I was sorted, I forgot it once flying home as I checked it into the hold. Woke up the next day and could hardly walk!

Looks like I'm going to be calling the GP tomorrow. I think dd has reflux issues, she doesn't do it every feed but will arch her back and seems distressed during feeding at times. If I put her down after a feed on her back she makes horrible wet breathing noises and again seems distressed.

Currently upright with her now, waiting for a while before I put her down.

Lovely picture bears!

Ducky - Ds has been rolling intermittently for a few weeks but he has mastered it now and loves doing it.

He loves sitting in his chair as well. Feels like a big boy I think.

LuluJakey1 · 11/05/2015 20:55

Bears- he is lovely and he looks like a strapping lad! How old is he now?

Oh gosh Tori how do I not Hoover? Lol! Hoovering is my life, I have a cream carpet so I Hoover about twice a day Grin

It's just for a GP appt Ducky: that was the earliest they had. And yes I work at a doctors surgery Grin and no ur not allowed to be registered at the same surgery u work at because we see every patients records and would be a breach of data protection :)
It is handy being able to ask the doctors quick health questions tho Grin
And yes very difficult as he always wants picking up and having a cuddle. And he can't quite go down the stairs by himself yet so I'd have to carry him then :/

Ducky23 · 11/05/2015 20:09

Is that for physio cupcake or an appt with gp?

Don't you work at a gp surgery? I've always wondered if people who work there use the same gp Grin

That's going to be difficult not lifting ds isn't it. But you don't want bed rest!

Aw poor DS Ducky :( bronch again the poor lil man. But clever him for rolling! :)

Aww Bears how cute! :) so smiley and happy!

I've booked a doctors appt but it's not for 2 weeks. I did have a quick word with a doctor from my work and he reckons it's deffo spd he told me I need to stop lifting DS tho! :s which is like impossible! But he said it will make it worse and that I don't want to have to be on bed rest at the end of my pregnancy. Jeez I hope I don't have to do that!!

Ducky23 · 11/05/2015 17:56

Well ds is rolling all over the place! GrinIf I put him down he goes straight onto his tummy, he soon gets bored but can't figure out how to get back!

Because now my lower back has decided to join in with the aches and pains! :( what the hell am I gonna be like at 30 weeks? Lol! With DS I got scared of getting out of bed because as soon as I stood up my hip felt like it had clicked back into place and it hurt so so bad!
Aww Ducky staffys can be so friendly and cuddly! Grin an ex boyfriend had one and omg he was gorgeous.
Poor DS!!! :( :( :( oh Ducky bless u, I hope he's okay, have they said what's wrong with him yet? Flowers

I hope your dog is getting better Duckey. It is so worrying when pets are poorly. One of our cats is prone to temperatures that knock him for 6 and he has had lots of tests and they ruled anything nasty out. He just has to go nto fluids and antibiotics until it breaks. It hardly ever happens- once every 2-3 yrs but it is very upsetting. FX your dog is on the mend.

Cupcake, I know DH is a good 'un but I kissed lots of frogs before I found him and some of them were horrors. Mind, I treat him well too. He is a love at the moment- it was a treat because he got his job and just thought we deserved a bit of time to ourselves. I think PIL were just delighted to look after DS.

Yes Duckey, they have made an offer on a house and it has been accepted. So they are planning on a July/August move if it all goes well. The house they decided on is about 10 mins walk from us. Smile

lillamyy1 · 10/05/2015 22:27

DS has been much better this eve Smile

lillamyy1 · 10/05/2015 22:26

Glad you had a nice night away Lulu Smile
Cupcake I didn't see your post about your poor DS throwing up this morning! I hope he's better now. I have a bit of a phobia about vomit - I'll have to get over it now I'm a mum though! I don't mind atm because it's just milk but imagine sick and poo get much worse once baby's on solids Confused
Sorry to hear your poor dog's been so poorly as well Ducky Flowers What kind if dog is he? I'd love one but don't think I could handle a baby and a dog!

Ducky23 · 10/05/2015 22:09

That's a lovely name cupcake Grin with the spd I think you should speak to the mw, shel be in a better position to tell you if it is or not and what's best to help it Smile

Lulu that sounds amazing! Glad you had a nice time! Any news on SIL and the house hunt?

Oh Lulu how wonderful! Sounds like u had an Amazing night away! What a lovely and thoughtful DH u have! :) tell him well done from me! He certainly knows how to treat u Lulu :)

LuluJakey1 · 10/05/2015 18:06

DH and I have had a night away in a very luxurious hotel in the Northumberland countryside , without DS. DH arranged for PIL to come and look after DS and booked us into the hotel for a night.

It has been bliss. Peace, quiet, walks, lovely room with sitting room and beautiful bathroom and kingsize bed, views of the countryside, lovely meal last night, breakfast in bed this morning. DS has not missed us one scrap it seems- had a lovely time with grandma and grandad. DH is sooo in my goodbooks. Smile

Ducky23 · 10/05/2015 16:14

I know cupcake Confused it's because he had the bronch so young apparently Hmm he picks up things v easily and apparently it will keep happening until he is around 1 Confused hope you get a quick referral for your spd!

I must have missed some posts! What's this about oscar?

A couple of weeks ago my dog went off his food which is very unlike him and he wouldn't stop being sick, he didn't eat for 3 days so I took him the vets (I left it that long incase it was just a stomach bug that would clear up), they gave him an antibiotic injection and an anti sickness one which cost bloody £70 Confused and then he was fine for a day, the day after I came down to make ds night feed bottle and I noticed him looking a bit funny, I went over and he have a very deep big hole in his arm that was oozing pus Confused I took him back to the vets and it turns out he had a blind abscess that had ruptured Confused £50 later I had anti biotics and pain killers for him

Then he got loads better, then went off his food again, so more anti biotics, now it happening again so I have some more. It seems he's picking something up from somewhere that keeps coming back Hmm

Tori that sounds awful, I bet u can't wait to get baby out!

Thanks Lill :) I love Oscar, it's so different lol :p I do hope ur DS's tummy sorts itself out soon.
