Tori let us know how the hospital goes today Flowers

Lill I agree with Bears, a dummy would be good. And great for helping them settle! I wish DS still had his dummy lol

I'm so exhausted today :( my head hurts and my back is aching so much. DS wet his bed so I've had to strip all that and put it in the wash and the thought of hanging it all out makes me feel even more tired! Floors need hoovering and mopping too and I just can't do it :(
DS is being rather difficult today as well and wants constant attention and keeps wanting me to pick him up and I just can't.
I need a shower too but that isn't going to happen Grin will have to wait till my mom comes at 5 to go for one and she can keep an eye on DS.

Anyone else this sore, achy and tired at only 16 weeks?

lillamyy1 · 13/05/2015 10:31

Yes DS is a comfort sucker!
He had got a dummy but I haven't tried it like that yet... Will give it a go!

Bearsinmotion · 13/05/2015 09:32

Have you tried a dummy lil? DS comfort sucks so would bf forever if I let him! But he goes straight off with a dummy!

So sorry Ducky :(

lillamyy1 · 13/05/2015 09:09

Tori I hope it goes well today at the hospital. Flowers
I had DS at City! Everyone who looked after me was amazing, I was so impressed. much prefer city to queens
Ducky, I'm so, so sorry about your dog FlowersFlowers it really is like losing a family member, I was so upset when my dog died.

DS slept a bit better last night but only a bit. It was just me and him I'm the nursery again as DP had work really early again this morning and another long shift. I've been bfing in the night because I'm scared of losing my supply, but it does make the feeds last so much longer. He's also often doing that thing where he needs a poo and he's grunting and writhing and crying with discomfort. I've got an appt at the doc with him about his wheezing on Friday so I'll mention it then.

Glad you had a nice time cupcake

Tori, have you had movements since? I think they should of done a scan there and then! Don't leave today if your unhappy with the results.

I'm so heartbroken, he was the lively one, now you can tell there is something missing in the house Sad

Ducky I've been fine since H left. I think it's more because I'm in a routine with DS and work and when I'm home and he's in bed I'm exhausted and go straight to sleep myself so there's not rele much time to think about it all. I'm almost sure it'll hit me once baby is here as doing all that by myself with be hard.
Oh no Ducky :( :( I'm so sorry about ur poor dog Flowers sending big hugs to u Flowers

Tori yes I had a nice time out thank u, I struggled to sit still! I was eating my dinner and my lower back ached so much I decided to get up and go to get some drinks. I'm getting all this cleaning down now as I just know I won't be able to hardly do much later on In pregnancy so it's kind of a motivation.
I hope everything's okay Tori Flowers did they give u a scan?

Lill I hope u managed to sleep last night!!

Ducky23 · 13/05/2015 04:19

Sorry tori, just re read your post. You had a trace? Was it showing movements? If you are not happy, do not leave the hosp. Demand a Doppler scan x

Ducky23 · 13/05/2015 04:04

Tori, I really hope everything is ok. If this is your second episode of reduced movement (or more) then they should follow it up with a scan. Please let us know how you get on.

Well, I'm heartbroken. My dog that was poorly, he was getting better. Sat on the sofa a few hours ago. I got up to give ds a bottle and he's passed away Sad I cannot sleep. I'm so upset. I know it sounds silly but he was part of the family Sad

Tori / your friends in Notts? Where do you live? I'm in Nottingham! Grin

I hope your DS gets better soon Ducky, and your DD Siarie.

Cupcake, sounds like you've been very productive!

Bears, your DS is gorgeous!

I've totally let the house go since having DS. My mum's round a lot so she does the most pressing chores but there's a layer of dust on the TV and bookshelves and most of the house is pretty untidy! Usually I couldn't bare it but there's nothing I can do as for one thing DS takes up all my time and another thing I'm not allowed to do housework (was v glad to be told this at post natal appt in front of DP... Doesn't mean he does much to help though unless I nag him, then he gets grumpyHmm )
Early bed for me tonight. Last night was horrific - DS just wouldn't sleep for longer than half an hour at a time and DP was sleeping in the other room because he had to be up at 6:30am so I let him off baby duties. Same tonight, fx that DS sleeps better because Ive got a busy day tomorrow.
Hope everyone else gets a good nights sleep too!!

Poor ds Confused

Cupcake that sounds nice! How have you been doing since h left?

Bearsinmotion · 12/05/2015 16:22

DS is 11 weeks now, I can't believe how fast the time has gone! It's weird but I'll be sad to put away his 0-3 months clothes. It was the same with DD but this time I know it's for good!

Sorry to hear about the poorly babies :( DS has a sniffly cold (caught from DD I suspect!). First of many no doubt!

Cupcake92 · 12/05/2015 16:14

I was like that Ducky, but now DS is older I just put him in his room to play and closed the stair gate :) so he doesn't get exposed to the chemicals etc.
not sure what I'll do when I have to do his room tho Confused

I'm off out tonight for the 1st time in a long long time without children Grin I'm going out for a meal and a drink (non alcoholic!) with my friend :) mom is babysitting so I get a nice few hours out :)

Ducky23 · 12/05/2015 11:47

Omg I would love to deep clean my house! But I worry about ds breathing in too much cleaning stuff at his age
and h is a horder who flat out refuses to chuck anything away so there's shit everywhere

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 12/05/2015 11:11

U must have been that over tired u didn't feel tired anymore Ducky Grin

Aww bless her Siarie :( sounds awful. I hope the doctors can help her and hopefully tell u what's wrong. Flowers

These poor poorly babies aye, get better soon!

I've just sorted my bedroom out :) :) that's 3 rooms in the house I've sorted now! It's all cleared out and I've deeped cleaned it all. All I need now is my new bed frame and some storage boxes to put underneath it.

Can't sort DS's room till he gets his new bed which would be next month. But then after his room everything is done and I can finally start buying baby things :) it feels weird not having brought anything yet. With DS I was so eager that as soon as I had my 12 week scan I went out and brought so so much Grin

Siarie · 12/05/2015 10:23

I've been using infacol and anti colic bottles, that seems to help with the wind. But this seems more like food coming back up. She makes horrible wet noises when put flat unless she's been kept uptight for ages after a feed. Seems really pained while eating, arching back, making noises but still feeding. If I take the bottle away she cries but it sounds really uncomfortable. Projectile vomiting often too.

I've got an appointment for tomorrow, I haven't registered her at the GP yet as I was going to just wait until we move. She was only discharged from midwife care a week or so ago so didn't seem worth it. But going to register her tomorrow, the appointment is in my name for now.

Ducky23 · 12/05/2015 07:30

When I go to add a post it keeps changing to a random post!

Ohh cupcake I agree with siarie, I got one of them pillows and still use it that's great news about ds! I was surprised as the other night I went to bed at 11 and was up at 2 taking ds to hospital and stayed up until 10.30 last night, I wasn't at all tierd but thought if i didn't go to bed then I would regret it! I must have fallen asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow though!

Siarie, could it be colic? Maybe try infacol or something? If not I think they can give you some infant gaviscon. Ds had v bad reflux and colic before his cmpi was diagnosed, it's awful isn't it. Poor little things.

Have you made any decisions about work lulu?
