Ds always reacted badly to all his jabs Confused

My belly has gone back down now but if I poke it it's still a bit squishy Shock

What formula is dd on now?

Have you been to any of the baby groups yet? Ds starts his new one next week Smile

Her jabs*

Siarie · 29/05/2015 12:59

I know ducky makes me sad how quickly it's going, she's in 0-3 months clothes now too.

My scar has healed nicely and I've lost loads of weight so it's really not so bad anymore. I still have stretch marks below my belly button which sucks but I'll consider some laser on it in a while.

My stomachs mostly gone down and I'm pleased to say the muscles are pulling together again. I was worried they wouldn't and about the jelly belly effect. My belly button looks less warped now too. I know it doesn't matter but it's a real shock to go from bump to this empty squishy sack so I'm pleased it is changing.

Dd has her hand Monday, she's got a bit of a cough today so hoping she isn't going to get a cold. We had to deal with reflux issues as well but she's on a thicker formula now and keeps her food down a lot better Smile

Won't be long now until cupcakes 20 week scan!

Has your ms stopped now cupcake?

Siarie, 7 weeks already! It's mad isn't it! How are you feeling now? Do you have any niggles from your scar still?

Siarie · 29/05/2015 11:59

Oh and I'm kind of glad DD came out c section in the end. I keep looking at head and thinking oh no no. She has a large head like my dh and that would have been a episiotomy for sure! Even with my massages I was having

Siarie · 29/05/2015 11:57

Phew I've tried to read up where I could. Cupcake congrats on a little boy, I know you would have liked one of each but two boys will be great fun.

I've been struggling to catch up on here as what with the baby and us moving its all be a bit hectic. DD is seven weeks today, no idea where that's gone.

I can't believe your DS is on solids now ducky. They don't stay small for long do they? Lovely little lad.

Cupcake92 · 29/05/2015 07:12

I'm really worried about these episiotomy! I really don't want one of those Confused

Glad ur leg is better Tori! And wel done for bf in public! :) I keep thinking about that as a lot of people stare and some complain, if someone did that too me I'd go up and give them an ear full! We shouldn't have to feel scared or worried to bf in public.

Thanks Ducky :) I'm not sure if u can sleep in them?? I'd love it if I could!! Will have to read the box see what it says :)

Off to pick up my new glasses today! Then Going to go and have a coffee and a cake! Can't wait Grin the things us moms get excited about aye Grin

Lillamyy1 · 28/05/2015 23:40

Haha I'm really enjoying hearing about the little rascals enjoying their food and getting so excited that they get it everywhere! Ducky it's a good job you've got dogs, what a time-saver Grin
Lulu, your DS is a little cutie! What a lot of hair, and so dark!

Ducky23 · 28/05/2015 22:42

Glad the belt is helping cupcake, can you sleep in them? And woooo for buying things Grin how exciting!

And these babies seems to eat better than me Grin their food sounds yummy!
Tho me and DS were naught and had a nandos tonight Blush

Tori I hope ur leg is better now! Hope ur settling in okay and enjoying motherhood :)

2nd day wearing my support belt and I can tell it helps my lower back loads because once I've taken it off within an hour it aches again. I'm deffo going to keep wearing it each day tho :) just dred bed time as its getting quite painful through the night.

I brought some babies things today!!! :) :) got a lovely Moses basket for the lounge and a rocking stand. Got a few baby grows as well and some little booties and hat! :)

LuluJakey1 · 28/05/2015 19:51

Is your leg ok now Tori? It does take ages to get a baby sorted and it's even harder if you breastfeed.

I remember as we carried DS out of the hospital looking at him and saying to DH 'How do we do this? ' We had no one to ask or to help us. We just did it on instinct and looking things up on the internet. It felt like within 2 days the house belonged to a baby. His stuff was everywhere and I could not find anywhere to put anything. Everything was a tip and I was so tired. It took me weeks to get organised and into a routine.

I felt quite low and overwhelmed at times. I just walked miles with DS every afternoon. The fresh air did me good. And sometimes we just snuggled on the sofa and watched Jeremy Kyle. Blush

Has DH had paternity leave? Does he do his share?

Ducky23 · 28/05/2015 18:22

Oh no tori! Hope your ok! Have you had any results? Did you tell your birth story (Sorry if I missed it!)

What is a sleepy head?

Here is DS with grandad yesterday when they came up to see SIL's house.
DH wants to cut his hair but I am not letting him.

Lilla- he is very cute your little boy. He looks very mischievous.

Ducky, DS had pureed sweet potato and carrot mixed together followed by meln slices and his bottle. He does not have large amounts, just bits.He seems to like most things although he likes to squeeze food with his hands. His baby seat is scruffy today. Will be dettoxed later.

Ducky23 · 28/05/2015 13:42

Omg. Ds LOVED his lunch!

He wasn't to keen on the broccoli but he couldn't get enough of the sweet potato or carrots! He even chewed the carrot!

Then he got carried away and flinged his plate across the room, food went everywhere! All over the cleanup crew dogs. They enjoyed it too Grin

So cute lil! And love his hair!

Yes I was thinking of tori earlier. Maybe she has her hands full! Grin

Just about to sort ds lunch, he has sweet potato mash, steamed carrot and broccoli to try Smile

Lillamyy1 · 28/05/2015 11:09

I wonder how Tori's getting on? We haven't heard from her since she have birth have we?

Lillamyy1 · 28/05/2015 10:08

Here he is grinning away! You'd never think he'd been up most of the night Grin

Bearsinmotion · 28/05/2015 10:07

Lulu tantrums aren't inevitable, DD never really did them. I think it's just luck whether they do or not, although DP puts it down to my our excellent parenting!

Hope you get some more sleep Lil!

Lillamyy1 · 28/05/2015 09:59

Sorry to hear you had bad nights Ducky and Cupcake. I hope tonight is better for both of you! I didn't manage to get to bed very early last night (10 as opposed to 8 which is what I aim for) so I'm hoping DS will go back to sleep so I can have a nap! He wasn't awake for too long each time he woke up in the night, but DP is at work all day today and I don't know if I can handle the whole day on my own if I don't get another hour or so in!
He's very lively this morning, smiling and grunting and kicking about. He smiles and 'talks' to me quite a lot now when he's awake but he prefers to talk to the pictures on the wall!! Grin

Ducky23 · 28/05/2015 07:30

Hope it comes through cupcake! And really hope it helps! Must be horrible for you!

I haven't tried ds with anything at night yet, what time would you give him the porridge? I'm going to start him on dinner next week. Dietitian said she wanted him having 3 small meals by the time she sees him next which is just over 2 months. I was looking at the porridge the other day (the Ella's kitchen one) but I didn't get any because she hadn't sent the letter saying what ds couldn't have so I'm just sticking at fruit and veg really til that comes through, but that's not filling really is it?

Cupcake92 · 28/05/2015 06:52

Aww Lulu that's so nice for ur SIL :) she seems very happy with the boyfriend.
And ur DS seems to be coping with weaning very well! :)

Lulu the tantrums start at 1 year old! Lol! They just seems to get worse and more demanding by 2 years Grin more disapline is needed I think around 2. They have to start understanding what not to do and what's bad and what's good.
As for the spd, (she called it pelvic girdle pain) I wasn't signed off work as I'm only sat down at a computer so she said I should be okay. I should get my physio letter this week as it was an urgent referral.
But I'm in so much pain this morning, it was agony last night sleeping :( I couldn't sleep on one side for more than 5 minutes.

Ducky frustration does play a big part bless him Grin have u tried giving DS something filling like porridge after his last bottle of the night? My HV advised me to give DS some baby porridge after his last bottle as it would help him sleep much better. And. It did work he slept a good few hours longer. Could be worth a try :)
