Ohhh cupcake bet you loved the lie in! He must really love his new bed!

Tori Shock that's a lot of feeding! Your doing really well!

Lulu ds does that sometimes, hel be a monster all day then when anyone else walks through the door hel act like an angel!

He woke up at 4.30 this morning, he wasnt asking for food but I did him a bottle in the hope it makes him sleep again, it worked for a little bit but he still woke up early. He's having mango &passion fruit soy yoghurt for breakfast, haven't decided on lunch yet but then he will have sweet potato, beans and carrots for dinner. Hopefully it will help! Just a bit of a pain ATM as I have to make him seperate meals as his gets cooked with his milk in which is gross Confused

I was prepared to sell DS to any bidder today. Has been a little horror all day. Over-tired, wouldn't sleep, lots of wailing and screaming, wanted to be just carried around all day. Spat food out and just wanted milk. As DH came through the door he beamed at him and held his arms out. Has been good as gold since and is tucked up in bed rosy cheeked and cherubic, fast asleep. I would have taken 50p or a second class stamp for him at tea-time.

LuluJakey1 · 01/06/2015 22:37

It is half 10 at night here. DH and I are lying in bed with no lights on. Outside is still twilight- sky is still a lightish dusky blue in the West and it is pouring with rain. Amazing! Almost like lights somewhere behind the clouds. Trees swaying in the wind and patterns on the bedroom wall.

Aww Tori he looks adorable and so peaceful :)

Lill yes it was very weird setting up his bed and then also having the cot all set up for a newborn! It's starting to settle in that I'm having another son on the way :)

Lulu where u live sounds so so lovely! Seals nearby and everything! I'd love to like somewhere like that :)

Ducky it's an IKEA toddler bed, it's blue :) a proper kiddy one :) it matches his drawers and also has a little bedside table to match too.
Gosh Ducky he is a hungry one! The milk u have is there a hungry baby version of it? I know it's a prescribed one. But yes maybe speaking to the dietitian about how much he is eating is a good idea they might be able to suggest something :)
I know DS had to go on hungry baby milk as he was feeding too much. Maybe ur DS just loves all the new tastes of these solid foods! :)

DS slept amazing in his new bed last night!!! :D my alarm actually woke me up this morning instead of DS! He was very happy when he woke up as well and kept tapping his bed going "ooo! Ooo!" :)

Ducky23 · 01/06/2015 14:49

He's always been a big eater lil! I just thought it would calm down a bit!

Since then he's drained a 7oz bottle and had some beans, cottage pie purée and banana puffs! I don't know where he puts it! Might try ringing his dietitian and ask them if it's normal but it's near impossible to get hold of them!

What a hungry boy Ducky! He might be going through a growth spurt?

Ducky23 · 01/06/2015 10:35

Don't think changing the milk is going to help.... So far today he's had 3 6 oz bottles, half a weetabix (with another 2oz of milk) and some toast Blush.

Cupcake is it one of them fun looking beds? Grin

Tori, glad it's all going well Smile will go look at the pics in a bit!

How are you doing now lil?

Lulu bet he liked the ice cream! Ds had dairy free yoghurt the other day and loved it! He tried baked not naked like my phone keeps trying to put beans and some peas yesterday.

Have changed him to 6 month milk now, I do have some more tins of his other one left but I'm hoping this makes him sleep better. Have been up since 4am Hmm he also doesn't seem to want to drop his night feed any time soon! I will also offer him dinner tonight too to see if that helps. He does love his food. Were just about to have weetabix Grin

That's a lovely picture Tori- he just looks very full and flat out. I like his sleep suit.

We took DS down to the nature reserve today where there are moulting seals. He was fascinated but wanted to get closer which we couldn't do as they were on the rocks at the back of the lighthouse. He screamed and we had to leave as they were looking a bit wary and like they might jump into the water and other people were watching them.

Then he had a bit of icecream which shut him up Smile He has been a little love this afternoon. He has spinach and potato puree for his lunch and loved it after a few funny faces at the beginning, followed by pear and apple mixed with baby rice. He played on this mat with some toys for ages and DH entertained him.

DH is at work tomorrow and is fast asleep. I am wide awake. It is pouring outside and there is no moon tonight.

Lillamyy1 · 31/05/2015 22:16

That's good Smile And he must be getting plenty if he's going so long between feeds!
DS has been cluster feeding this evening.

He's a sweetheart Tori Smile Did you get breastfeeding established easily? How's he sleeping at night?
Cupcake that must be odd putting DS1 in a big boy's bed! How exciting getting the room ready for DS2 Smile

Hope everyone is okay and has had a good day! :)

I'm exhausted! Built DS's new toddler bed! He's growing up so fast! :( it's his "big boy bed" he absolutely loves it! Got the cot set up also on the other side of the room as him and his brother will have to share for a bit :) it seems so strange that the cot it sat all set up but a different baby is going in it and not DS1! Lol! Got lots of DS's baby clothes out as well and there's tons! Even with labels on! :) very happy with that! Can't wait for my bed now !

Cupcake92 · 31/05/2015 07:52

Bears house sounds lovely! :)

And Lulu and ducky uve got such clever babies!! DS crawled at 10 months he was so lazy Grin I used to crawl on my hands and feet never on my knees and was walking by 10 months. DS never took after me Grin

Oo Lill! Going out for breakfast!! I'm jealous lol! I'd love to go for some proper pancakes and waffles with syrup and cream and maybe some banana sprinkled on! Mmmmmmm! Blush sorry my appetite is crazy atm I'm always so hungry! I do have some scones that I'm eating right now for my breakfast Grin

Lillamyy1 · 31/05/2015 06:39

Siarie, I hope DD slept through after that feed! It's easier to get a routine when ff I've heard.
Last night was quite a lot better than most recently. I took DS into town to the arts cinema and cafe/bar where DP works because quite a few of our friends were there having an early evening drink and they wanted to meet DS. I had a rum and coke so gave DS a bottle while we were there and he drank so much that I think it must have filled him up because he woke up for a quick feed at 1:30am and then slept through until 5! Then we both went back to sleep and he's just woken me for another little feed but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he gives me another hour.
MIL is up staying at DP's grandparents' house and is planning to take us for breakfast in a few hours but I'd rather stay in bed Grin

Lillamyy1 · 31/05/2015 05:17

Haha lulu, that story about your DH and DS falling asleep in ikea made me Grin
Glad the pillow's on its way Cupcake!
Ducky that email idea is lovely. I've got a blank book that my sister made me (she does hand book binding) and I keep meaning to start a journal for DS very similar to your email idea.
Bears I'll have my fingers crossed that you get that house!

Siarie · 31/05/2015 02:57

DD is starting to get a nice routine, she has always slept at night but we put her to bed yesterday evening before dinner and she didn't wake for four hours. Then DH fed her at 11pm and I'm just up now doing a feed. So roughly two four hour sleeps, I expect she will be up at 6:30am then won't go back down but can't complain.

LuluJakey1 · 30/05/2015 23:00

I have come to bed and left DH watching 'The Woman in Black'. Bet he comes up to bed because he's scared. Smile

I hope everyone gets an uninterrupted night's sleep tonight. No waking babies and, Cupcake, no pain to keep you awake.

DS had his feed late tonight so hoping he will sleep right through after all of his activity today.

Siarie · 30/05/2015 22:35

Ducky someone recommended I setup an email too but I was concerned by the time did is older the email might be out dated. Also email mailboxes don't stay active if you don't login to them for years.

I like the idea but I wouldn't want to lose them by forgetting to login to keep it active.

I didn't know what to say about the pregnant remarks Hmm

LuluJakey1 · 30/05/2015 21:18

It sounds lovely Bears. I like old houses. Our is just 1920s but it has lots of character and space.

I love listening to DS talk. He babbles on and is making sort of maaaa sounds (which DH thinks are daaa sounds so they are obviously not very clear) Smile When do babies crawl because he really didn't seem far off some sort of propelling movement this afternoon?

Bearsinmotion · 30/05/2015 21:09

House is gorgeous lulu - period cottage with lots of quirky features, surprisingly spacious and a great attic bedroom that DD has decided is hers!

DS wants to crawl! He tries really hard if you put him on his tummy. He also chats constantly to himself, which is very cute.

Ducky23 · 30/05/2015 20:53

Lulu ds can crawl on his back Grin kind of like a crab! But he hasn't figured out the front yet! Apparently most babies in my family were walking by 9 months! Ds wants to but I don't think his legs/back are that strong yet!

Good luck bears! Smile

Cupcake I still use my pillow now! I love it!
