Hi twinkle - I'm afraid I have no expertise to offer but from the other posters it seems you have good blood results-congrats! I went to see my gp in november before ttc even commenced-my job frequently involves offering support to couples who have infertility issues (usually after their last round of ivf or when they have decided they don't want to go down this route). I explained how anxious this has made me feel about ttc: he was lovely and said to come back in 6 months to see him.

No idea why five months was bad but it felt suddenly like this wasn't going to be such an easy ride, you know? It is such a short time, though, in the grand scheme of conception stats. Please have faith, newbies - and oldies! I'll bet Tessie and Pug and Heir and Fifi all felt exactly the same, that 'it's just not going to happen for me'...

chops I have a very good GP it seems! It was my first visit to him. I was having an iron and thyroid test so I guess he thought it wouldn't hurt to do it at the same time. He also referred dh for a sperm sample but he can't get an appointment until June.

I'm mega anxious about this whole ttc situation and really thought I'd be someone who was chilled and 'let nature happen' but I'm not. All I've ever wanted is to be a mum but I've also always had this feeling that it won't happen I know I know what feeling?!
