Aborted run due to pre AF cramps :( expect her in the next hour or so. Also been hit badly by some more D and feel as though V is on its way so am in bed. Don't think I will be making the cake now, feel like a dreadful wife!

chopsface · 12/04/2015 09:02

Oh yes twinkle my GP refused to give me tests until ttc 12 months (15 cycles for us) and we didn't get referred to the clinic for another 9 months after that!

victoria401 · 12/04/2015 08:59

Sammy! Welcome home hun. Glad you had a relaxing holiday :-)

Gosh, does everyone really get up so early on a Sunday?!

night have a nice day with dh. You sound like a domestic godess baking him a cake. I don't bake Blush

Hoping dh will take me to the garden centre today. I love the garden centre! Hope everyone else has a good day x

Oysterbabe · 12/04/2015 08:53

Morning Pubes.
Given DP the morning off. Tonight is probably the most important one as I think I'll get my temp dip tomorrow then rise Tuesday.

Just having some coffee then heading out for a relaxed 10k run. Plan for the rest of the day is allotmenting then watching football and cooking pork.

Pixa · 12/04/2015 08:46

Sammy pleased to see you back! How was your break? Smile

loopylou1984 · 12/04/2015 08:44

Hi everyone, looks like the bus has been incredibly busy while I've been away!! Can someone catch me up on any important news?

Although it looks like congratulations are in order Sparkly??

I've had a wonderful break and feel much more relaxed now :). Xx

TwinkleStars15 · 12/04/2015 08:43

night you have so much restraint, I'm impressed! Good luck for Wednesday, if AF hasn't arrived first Flowers

sparkly yes I'm really pleased with him, he even referred me to the fertility clinic and I have an appointment for June! (but I'm not planning on going to this so soon so I'm going to push it back) I wasn't expecting it at all but I do feel very lucky as I know most women wait so long. You can all come and live with me and we will go armed with chocolates, flowers and wine to my lovely GP!!

babsbunny · 12/04/2015 08:37

Hi girls. Hope everyone is ok. Sorry I haven't posted for an age, but have finally moved house now.

Sparkly, can't believe I missed your bfp! Golly congratulations! I'm so delighted for you. You are such a kind and lovely person. Hoping you have a happy 9 months x

Spinning, hope you are ok after the funeral. Thinking of you.

It going to take me a week to catch up!

Pixa · 12/04/2015 08:33

Night Birthday plans sound good! I love a bit of baking but when it comes to birthday cakes - I always get our wedding cake lady to do them. Blush Fingers are crossed for you still.

Sparkly How are you feeling today? How was the meal last night, lovely?

Spinning Pleased to hear the funeral went well. Smile

Chops How are you doing? Fingers crossed for you too. Smile

First time using the foofometer today, so I have officially started temping! Grin

What has everyone got planned for their Sundays? This morning, I will be mostly limping around the house. Smile

After yesterdays panic, we have decided as painful as it will be not to to to the GP until a year. I couldn't lie because I wouldn't want to knock someone who has genuinely waited that long out of place. 9 cycles feels like a long time, but relatively it's not. We will get there - we can do this. Plus, I don't know how either of us would react if something was wrong with either us in relation to fertility, it terrifies me and DH.

Mummyofonesofar · 12/04/2015 08:25

Nomio I read your ml post to my dp and he said he would measure 75ml Hmm

ibeka I've added you to the stats.

Purdie enjoy the unusual plant sale - get him to buy your favourite!

DizzyM I hope you are feeling better today

eskimo Carlisle?! Only 40 mins from me there Grin

spinnin I'm glad the funeral went as well as it could. Sorry you feel AF is around the corner. At least you are in good hands with the AI lots here.

Today is DNs birthday. We are taking her to feed my friends lambs and see her ponies. I have dp a tickle to wake him up and he rose to the challenge so am happier today. But think my thermometer might be broken. My temps are never this level Mummyofonesofar chart

nightandthelight · 12/04/2015 07:53

Thanks spinning :) birthday actually tomorrow but we will both be in work so doing most of celebrating today. Am being particularly generous right now by letting him have a lie in rather than jumping him ad I usually do on a Sunday morning Grin

auxiliaryauroch · 12/04/2015 07:42

Wth. When I left the thread yesterday night there were 96 post and now there are 200? You gabbers! Grin

spinningirl10 · 12/04/2015 07:41

Ah Night, that sounds like a nice day. Happy Birthday to Mr.NightSmile

spinningirl10 · 12/04/2015 07:40

Wood, that could be an implantation dip. Do you look at 'charts like mine' on FF. Great time wasterSmile

nightandthelight · 12/04/2015 07:40

Today I am going for a run, making DH's birthday cake and taking him out for dinner :)

nightandthelight · 12/04/2015 07:39

Sorry about temp dip spinning :(

Have decided not to test until AF is late according to its latest range (so Wednesday) although like you my stomach feels as though she may arrive today which is the most common CD for her to arrive :(

spinningirl10 · 12/04/2015 07:37

Morning Smile

Welcome Twinkle, wow your gp is fab! You'll have us all moving to your house to be able to see him and get testsSmile

Purdey, she really was a psycho. She spent all his morning while he was in hospital, didn't go to visit him in 8 months and sent him and his son threatening letters. Her son was at the funeral having worked with Uncle for years. He was lovely and had some great stories about Uncle.

Anyway enough funeral talk. This morning my temp has dipped to just above the cover line. I was woken by dp at 5am but I do think af will arrive todayHmm Think I'll go to Boots and get my syringes ready for AI.

Night, how are you feeling today? Who else is due to test?

Sparkly, I'm sure you're trying not to think too far ahead but what is your edd?

Anyone doing anything nice today? Ds is with his Dad until 5pm. I can't wait to see him and have a big cuddleSmile

Oysterbabe · 12/04/2015 07:36

Nice chart woodpigeon. Implantation dip?

nightandthelight · 12/04/2015 07:20

Yay for all the newbies, glad to see that HMPurdie has laid our the rules regarding the correct terms of address Grin May your journeys be incredibly short!

I watched Louis and DH and I came close to calling off TTC over our differing opinions! Thankfully I have now brought him round to my way of thinking . He didn't realise that the latest evidence shows that gender dysmorphia is caused by what happens in the womb and is therefore not a choice.

Obviously there will be some children for whom wanting to dress and act like the opposite sex is a phase but I think that if a child still feels like that as they hit puberty then they should be allowed hormone treatment. As the doctor explained for those children who don't receive treatment the suicide risk is so high it kind of outweighs the risk of the child having got it wrong. My understanding is that the hormone treatment is reversible also.

North West is insane. But I see they tried to just name her North.. Like, as in- no surname. Like Madonna. Are these people for real?!?

Oh and here you lot.... Eh hello, why wasn't I told about Blackpool?!

Pixa · 12/04/2015 00:40

Just reread the first line of my last post and I don't think it came across how I wanted it to. I don't mean that he should be condescending or have the right to be condescending, just that he does it to provoke reaction.

Pixa · 12/04/2015 00:37

I like him too, although there are times and places for his condescension - I think he has to do it sometimes to provoke reactions. I have watched a lot of his stuff now.

This is one of Louis' comments and it was quoted on the gender speak website. I think it's a really fitting and apt quote. â??The choice to transition involves the possibility of social rejection and a lifetime of commitment to medication, but it is also the chance to exercise the most fundamental right we have â?? The right to be ourselves. In the end the hardest part of the challenge may be knowing who it is we really are.â??

I also think medically and scientifically we are in a wonderful place to be able to enable those changes if needed. Even if we don't have age quite figures out yet, nor the reproductive side of it

frogbubbles · 12/04/2015 00:23

I felt maybe a few if the parents might have been quick to label, but then on the flip side if you know, you know and if you can stop the changes before it happens then do what is best for your child regardless of what anyone else thinks. But hey that's just my thoughts and were all different and deal with stuff different.

I love Lou I think his geeky awkward appearance is endearing I clearly have a crush on Louis Theroux, in fact I have a bit of hankering for any bespectacled geeky looking chaps
