Sparkly, if this nurse doesn't take you seriously tomorrow and listen to you and dismiss you then you must make a complaint and ask for a different nurse. It is not acceptable. If you don't feel up to doing this then could dh phone from work or after work?

Sparkly123 · 12/04/2015 20:25

Spinning that's the problem, I think I feel so intimidated by this stupid nurse, and it's not like dh can come to a phone call with me. He will be at work tomorrow. If I was going to see them it's different as he would back me up and id feel better. But I imagine it will be a quick fire phone call with her and that will be that. I'm worrying too much about her I know. It's just like Marys said, I felt so utterly disrespected that clinic app where they kinda just glossed over my pregnancy tests that it's really made me feel uncomfortable about it

Alpha100 · 12/04/2015 20:23

Sparkly thinking of you Flowers

melon I love that dress

daisy I've looked again and again at my local park run but I've always been too scared to go. I peeked at the time sheet as they put on facebook after the run and I'm pretty sure I would be a good 20 mins behind their slowest runner!

ibeka I love Northumberland. I'm from near there originally but been living in the North West the last couple of years. DH is a southerner and originally he was pushing for London but now he is content with Liverpool/Manchester Smile

Just a quick questions for all you knowledgeable ladies...as far as I'm aware the cb pee sticks show a smiley when ovulating. What I don't get is what does the cb fertility monitor do any why would it be of benefit?

spinningirl10 · 12/04/2015 20:23

Ah Sparkly, your dh is a wonderful husband, I'm a little bit in love with him myself. You've got a good one there!

spinningirl10 · 12/04/2015 20:20

Sparkly, yes others do go through it and it's so sad. Purdeys right you need some answers and they have to accept that you've had these bfp's and that there is then something going wrong. They need to help you and if needs be your dh will have to take control and be firm with them.

Sparkly123 · 12/04/2015 20:16

Pixa or lend me your Mr Grey? Joking . kinda shouldn't even joke really poor dh.. About ten minutes ago I had a complete meltdown of tears and the usual "I can't do this anymore" bla bla and he was so sweet, he said "if anyone can do this, you can. We can do this, you are the strongest woman I know"..he's so lovely. I'm lucky .

Sparkly123 · 12/04/2015 20:13

Pixa the only thing I ask is you get yourself a BFP that may do the trick? Agree?! Deal!

Sparkly123 · 12/04/2015 20:12

Ibeka did I miss an update from you are you ok?? Are you still getting positive tests? Sending Flowers

Marys oh I know I remember you saying and I said that my experience had been similar. I don't get it. I took my tests to the hospital too and they didn't want to see them?! How can they treat such a sensitive emotive situation like this? Don't get it. Hope you are feeling positive for moving forward lovely Flowers

Thanks Spins what can I do though? Just going to have to keep trying, however I have to say that after twice now I'm gonna really struggle with keeping confident . Once was hard enough to get past. But so many women go through worse and multiple times. I just need to pick myself up I think.

Pixa · 12/04/2015 20:10

Sparkly I am so sorry this is happening to you. I will be thinking of you, lovely. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I really hope you get a proactive response from the fertility clinic. I wish I could offer you some comfort. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know.

spinningirl10 · 12/04/2015 20:08

Heir, please come back and tell us how your scan goes Smile

Thanks Ibeka, I've been having cuddles with ds before bed which cheered me up Smile
I think a trip to epu to get checked out is a good idea. Sorry you're having to go through this.

Sparkly, oh goodness I don't know what to say. I'm so very upset for you., life is so bloody unfair sometimes. Hang in there lovely and know that we are all here to support you when you need to talk. Sending a big hug xxx

Oysterbabe · 12/04/2015 20:05

I love parkrun Daisy my local one has a massive hill though, no chance of a good time.
My brother came first in his for the first time recently Smile

MarysPrayer · 12/04/2015 20:05

*our own bodies. bloomin phone.

MarysPrayer · 12/04/2015 20:03

Sparkly, when I had my mc last month and hospital urine test came back negative, the doc then quizzed me on exactly when I had tested positive at home. I got the impression he didn't believe I had been pregnant in the first place. Sad I found that really hurtful. I'd tested positive four times over the previous nine days and was bleeding profusely on day 35 of a usually very regular 27/28 day cycle! I wish people would give us the respect we deserve. we know, out own bodies! Angry

MissMrsMummy · 12/04/2015 20:02

sparkly so sorry, how worrying. I was told that unless it's a few tablespoons of blood you could still be ok. Praying things are ok for you x

spinningirl10 · 12/04/2015 19:59

You know the letter I'd lost? Well I've found it......guess where?!Smile

Sparkly123 · 12/04/2015 19:55

Purds AF due Friday or sat at latest so I tested yesterday? But I also had a line Friday on IC but thought it was evap until I realised it was pink. The thing is I haven't been going to gp, it's the fertility clinic who didn't bother about it being a pregnancy last time as their hosp test said negative. They said specifically not to test early.. Why?! I mean, surely it's better I know this is happening?? I hear you on the progesterone, but remember in fertility app when I suggested it they said my score of 28.6 and 30 was adequate and doesn't warrant the progesterone pessaries? It's just such a head Star. I'm all over the place with it today. One minute in strong the next I'm a mess. I want to be able to control the emotion but it ain't happening!! I suppose it's the fact I have this nurse to deal with I'm worried about that too. Which is silly. But they just don't seem interested in positive tests that are not showing on the hosp ones. I looked online the other time and the one they use in hosp is 50 whatever the unit is of hcg. Where as frers are very sensitive right? I keep honestly having moments where I think that I'm mistaken.. And that these tests are wrong. But that's impossible right? If there's a line there's hcg? Sorry for rambling. And thanks so much for the advice. I just need to be strong tomorrow and call the nurse, I'm just so worried I'll lose it with her if she fobs me off again

DaisyDuckSW15 · 12/04/2015 19:53

Lots of people have been running this weekend! I started doing parkrun in February and I'm now quite evangelical about how brilliant it is. I hated running and have never done any. Parkrun is a free, timed 5k run in local parks. Really friendly atmosphere. I am really slow but making progress with my times. It's a fantastic way to start the weekend.

Riceicle1 · 12/04/2015 19:49

Oh my, I've been away since Thursday (no internet signal at the seaside Shock ) I've missed so much, and I've got to get ready for school and work tomorrow, so I haven't got time to read back too far. sparkly you are such a lovely person, I am in awe of your kindness. When the rest of us would be ranting about how sad we were, you just radiate positive thoughts to others. I'm so sorry this is happening to you. I really hope the nurse listens to you tomorrow. ((Hugs)) my lovely
I'm off to contemplate the horrors of waking up early and going to work tomorrow Sad I really need to win the lottery!

DaisyDuckSW15 · 12/04/2015 19:49

Oh sparkly, what a hideous emotional roller coaster. FlowersFlowersFlowers

purdiepie · 12/04/2015 19:44

If all else fails tomorrow, Sparkly, you need to tell the nurse that next time you get a BFP you need authorisation the same day to go and get your beta bloods done to prove the pregnancy and to obtain credible beta HcG numbers.

purdiepie · 12/04/2015 19:43

Sparkly, two questions: When was AF due? How early in your luteal phase do you think you could register a BFP?

tessiegirl · 12/04/2015 19:41

Oh crap, I posted above then saw your news Sparkly I'm so sorry Sad

MelonMelon · 12/04/2015 19:39

Thinking of you sparkly look after yourself Flowers

purdiepie · 12/04/2015 19:38

Oh my darling, Sparkly Sad I'm so angry that this is happening to you again. Please ask to see the fertility specialist. Tell them you have had two chemicals and that the GP is unhelpful because the surgery HPT doesn't pick up the pregnancy. I don't think a fertility specialist will disregard your BFPs simply because you test before AF. Sparkly, what you need are progesterone suppositories. I was ordered to take Utrogestan progesterone suppositories (400mg per day) by my IVF clinic until the twelfth week of pregnancy, when the placenta takes over progesterone support. This is not a harmful product. It can not do any damage - even to a pregnant woman who doesn't need it. I would never recklessly advise someone to buy prescription meds online unless, like this product, it is harmless.

You need prog support, Sparkly, but I feel you will keep getting knocked back unless you can 'prove' your pregnancies in the GP surgery - and of course you can't do that when you are miscarrying within hours of getting a positive on an HcG. Your embryos are surely coming away with the shedding of your uterus. I don't know why your charts are healthy when you are losing blood days before your period is due, but if the nurse tomorrow does sweet FA to further some investigations which would lead to progesterone support I would fuck her off and order these Thanks

P.s...2 x 200mg suppositories a day up the vagina (one in the morning and one at night) supports vulnerable pregnancies like yours. Even if prog deficiency is not your miscarrying issue, these suppositories will do no harm...it is simply progesterone and nothing else.
