But as my bleeding is quite frequent and red and occurred after the thick lining image was obtained, I feel I have to resign myself to the fact of mc. Thank you for being so lovely though. I guess miracles do happen but the facts seem to outweigh hope right now for me.

Sparkly, my HPTs were positive for a fortnight after my mmc but that had gone to eleven weeks, so I can't advise about a very early loss and HcG levels. You are in for such a colossal surprise on Thurs if your HcG has trebled and I would not be in the least bit surprised if it had. I know you won't allow yourself those thoughts - but I also know this time is going so tragically slowly for you. MC limbo is the absolute pits. There are few things worse. I will not raise your hopes, but I'm praying so hard

Diz, tests are so weird sometimes. A score of 17 is pretty problematic (sorry) but you have a DD to show it can happen! There are women, too, who get their take home baby with an AMH of 0.01. I do think more fertility issues than are recognised are to do with shit sperm. The tide is turning in the medical world regarding clinicians always assuming it is the woman who is having problems. If a man has great sperm I do think the majority of subfertile women will become pregnant. Victoria is a good example of a woman having to wait years because of her partner's shit sperm. That's why I evangelise about supplements for men - and why I consider them the most selfish of creatures if they keep 'forgetting' or complain.

So I just called a clinic (there's only two options for private care near me!) and a doctor phoned me back straight away which I thought was great. Until he told me that we should keep trying and that the NHS policy of three mc is fair and that I should def count the January one (even if the NHS don't..) he said there's an 80% chance of a health pregnancy after two mc. But he also said that there's only a tiny chance if they did investigate mc that they would find anything and it cost lots of money to do so. I told him it wasn't that I thought there was some sinister cause, it was just that I felt there was definitely a progesterone issue... His words were:
"No no progesterone doesn't matter, if you have a healthy embryo then the progesterone will increase, if not then it won't"...?!?! I said I thought I should take progesterone as a precaution given my levels at times and he said it wouldn't matter?!

So confused!

OPK update so today I got a neg so that means I ovd on Sunday or Monday. I'm not sure if the weekend DTD spermies hung about for that little egg or if we are out this month. Let the TWW commence

Nomio my levels were lower when we were ttc DD. I got lucky one cycle and conceived. You will get your bfp and are taking positive steps towards it. It can and it will happen.

I'm feeling much better thanks sparkly and more positive today. It can and will be fixed!

Dizzy, I really hope it gives you some answers. I have a feeling you may be like me & not always ovulate. That combined with low Progesterone means not much chance of a bean.

The good news is that once you know for sure, you can do something about it. As the good doctor always says, knowledge is power!

Cd2 here and I wish AF will just hurry up and leave. Have had 2 days of heavy bleeding and clotting (sorry tmi). I have started temping today so will hopefully have a chart soon to show Dr Purdie. Will be interesting to see what my body's doing!

Mummy thanks for your positivity. The proper red bleeding started after she was rooting around at my scan yesterday. I asked her if it was possible that was my lining coming away now when she called last night as there had been more blood and she said yes. So I'm thinking so. Thursday will tell for sure! Wish it was tomorrow! I stupidly did a IC today. I thought if it was fainter or going negative then it would help me to get into that headspace, but because it was stronger than Saturdays positive it's messed my head up a little. I know within my heart that I can't possibly be with all this bleeding still. Frustrating but just need to keep calm. Thanks for being so lovely hope you are ok and have formulated a plan of attack for doctors!

With the stronger test then the beta with the correct levels and the scan to say your lining was intact does it not point tentatively at a sticky bean who just likes to cause bleeding? I don't want to put your hopes too high incase of a fall obviously but I am feeling positive for you

purds US was November as well as bloods. Swabs done in February all clear. No hunch to be honest I've got no idea. I was very stressed a week or too ago but I feel a lot calmer now but apart from very sore boobs there's not a single sign of impending AF

I updated on the April bus as well about my first scan yesterday but I thought I would post here too just incase anyone is interested in the ivf process.

They counted 8 follciles which they said was a decent number but I was a little disappointed with. Had been hoping for around 12. They said quality over quantity etc though so will just have to wait and see. I have my final scan tomorrow morning and will prob trigger thurs or fri for collection on sat or sun!!
