I've still got about a week to go before I can POAS. DH and I have been trying for about 5 months, but I have very irregular cycles so it's all really hard to judge. I usually go about 2 weeks between periods so following that, AF should be due to arrive before the end of this week. But I'm thinking that would be too early to test and am very impatient! I've also been taking agnus castus this month on the advice of a medical friend so I'm feeling tentatively hopeful. Anyone around who wants to wait it out with me and not read too much into every symptom and definitely not take a test every day this week?

Sleepingbunnies - hope you're feeling better today.

Icklepickle I'll keep my fingers crossed it's IB for you. Can you wait another couple of days then test? Are you late yet?

haquoi123 · 14/04/2015 14:28

Fingers crossed if you and ickle! sleeping, no apologies needed, I'm sure we've all been there - I certainly have x

IfYouWereARiverIdLearnToFloat · 14/04/2015 14:18

I'm only a day late haquoi. Don't want to bug the doctor yet as although I'm normally regularish - last month I was 7 days late completely out the blue.

Fuzzy thank you so much for the info! I've never had a second line when preg testing with the CBFM... I used FMU but I'm only D27 of a normally 26 day cycle so although I'm late it's still early in terms of building up hCG.

fuzzywuzzy · 14/04/2015 12:47

Ifyouwere, call the helpline maybe? I got the second line in the ovulation sticks and it only showed positive once the lines were slightly darker (peaked at very dark), I think perhaps it may work like that with the pregnancy tests too, only gives positive readings once the hormone is strong enough to a specific level making the line a certain level of dark (am I making sense?).

Did you use FMU, also wait a day or two and try again, I would be cautiously optimistic about this one, have you done pregnancy test using the CBFM before?

I'm taking part in a medical trial and have to use the CBFM to do pregnancy tests from CD15 and all my tests have only had one line no shadowy second lines at all.

Icklepickle101 · 14/04/2015 12:43

Hugs to you sleepingbunnies, no need to apologise!

Haquoi I know it's hard but what will be will be, you can't change anything so try not to get too worked up xx

As for me, AF didn't turn up this morning, haven't tested on te theory is the bleeding (12dpo) was IB it would be far too soon, or am I just being a scardey cat? I don't know what to do!! I can handle the disappointment of AF bit BFN'S are much worse for me

Sleepingbunnies · 14/04/2015 12:09

Morning all, I realise very self indulgent posts last night. Hope everyone is feeling good today. The sun is shining CakeBrew for all x

haquoi123 · 14/04/2015 11:54

Have you missed your period yet ifyou? Is it worth heading to the Dr's?

I will do my best to calm down. Still got symptoms, but feeling very nervous x

IfYouWereARiverIdLearnToFloat · 14/04/2015 11:05

Everything diamond said haquoi... there could be loads of variables making the line fainter. Wait a few days & then see.

CBFM is clearblue fertility monitor. I use it to monitor ovulation but it also works as a pregnancy test with different sticks. I can't find anywhere that tells you what the two lines mean as clearblue tell you not to try and read the sticks yourself & let the machine do it but it's possible to read the ovulation sticks so I was hoping someone could tell me what the pregnancy test looked like if there was hCG present.

hewy · 14/04/2015 11:02

Sorry haquoi although don't give up. It's hard to make any predictions based on symptoms which change so much all the time.
I also tested BFN this morning diamond on frer so feeling like I'm out this month. I'm due AF on Thursday so think frer would have picked up if there was anything. Feeling sad. But onwards to next month.

haquoi123 · 14/04/2015 10:45

Thanks diamond xx

diamondsparkles · 14/04/2015 10:28

Oh no haquoi - am really hoping your bean will be okay. Maybe different sensitivity on tests? Or you've had more to drink? Give it a couple of days then test again, I know it's really hard to wait but bean might be fine, try and think positive x

haquoi123 · 14/04/2015 10:25

I don't think my bean is sticking. PG tests today had very very faint lines, fainter than yesterday. Not got a good feeling. Might be back with you all for next month.

ifyou what is a CBFM? What would two lines normally mean?

IfYouWereARiverIdLearnToFloat · 14/04/2015 10:20

Can't find anything to say what that means. I'm assuming one line is a control (the solid line) and the other is hCG which is faint (I'm only d27 but have short cycles). I've posted in conception to see if anyone knows.

diamondsparkles · 14/04/2015 10:00

That's confusing for you ifyouwere - have you googled it?

IfYouWereARiverIdLearnToFloat · 14/04/2015 09:50

I got not pregnant on my CBFM this morning but two lines - one bold and one faint. So now I'm confused!

Halfway through my TWW and looking for company. Anyone in the same boat?
diamondsparkles · 14/04/2015 08:15

Morning everyone. Bfn again for me today at 10dpo SadSad
Anyone else tested?

IfYouWereARiverIdLearnToFloat · 13/04/2015 21:23

I wish I could say something to make it better Sleepingbunnies. It's okay to feel completely miserable right now though. Maybe take the next few days to just feel like crap about it. Don't make any decisions when it feels so raw today.

diamondsparkles · 13/04/2015 20:59

ifyouwere I totally understand that. It feels surreal when the milestones pass. I'm so hoping for you to get your bfp and to be a pregnant chief bridesmaid! Don't give up hope Flowers
sleeping - have a good cry, it will do you the world of good, it's natural to feel so disappointed. Please don't give up though x

Sleepingbunnies · 13/04/2015 20:45

Am sitting here bawling. Ridiculous. I am so lucky, I have 2 gorgeous children already I should be grateful. 10 months has really worn me down though. Trying to convince myself that I should just concentrate on my life as it stands and forget about number 3

IfYouWereARiverIdLearnToFloat · 13/04/2015 20:44

Diamond its true - my sisters wedding was 21 months away when we started TTC. We talked about DH taking a LO as his plus 1 as I'm chief bridesmaid. Then at Christmas when we were looking at bridesmaid dresses I was stressing it wouldn't accomodate a big bump. And now it's 5 months away and I've all but given up hope of even being a wee bit pregnant.

ero30 · 13/04/2015 20:42

Thanks so much for the good wishes everyone! I've managed to convince myself about 100 times today that I read the test wrong and it was supposed to be a + or it was a false positive or who knows what. I've got a CB digital that I'm going to do tomorrow which should make me feel a bit better. DH and I were on our 5th cycle.
Haquoi, huge congrats to you! H/H 9 months for both of us!
Fingers crossed for everyone waiting to poas, and baby dust for next month for anyone who's out. I'll be watching the thread for everyone else's results. Wink

I hope you're talking about giving up to the vodka Sleepingbunnies.

Sometimes it feels like this whole process will break me in two. The only thing that keeps me going is one day being able to tell our LO how hard fought for they were. Don't give up - it'll happen for you.

diamondsparkles · 13/04/2015 20:36

sleepingbunnies don't give up Flowers. I know exactly how you're feeling, this is month 10 for me too and bfns. It's so bloody difficult but enjoy your vodka tonight then when you've had a couple of days to yourself start to think positively about the month coming up, sending you WineCake

diamondsparkles · 13/04/2015 20:33

sleepingbunnies - vodka is a definite yes, that's what I do when af arrives, it always helps.
ifyouwere, yes that's so true, next month will be 11 for us and it is so difficult. When we started ttc this time I did not imagine for a second that I wouldn't be pregnant by certain milestones - my birthday, bonfire night, Xmas, dh's birthday etc etc and yet they've all passed now so I've stopped doing that - drove myself crazy!

Sleepingbunnies · 13/04/2015 20:28

I am getting ready to give up now.
