I've still got about a week to go before I can POAS. DH and I have been trying for about 5 months, but I have very irregular cycles so it's all really hard to judge. I usually go about 2 weeks between periods so following that, AF should be due to arrive before the end of this week. But I'm thinking that would be too early to test and am very impatient! I've also been taking agnus castus this month on the advice of a medical friend so I'm feeling tentatively hopeful. Anyone around who wants to wait it out with me and not read too much into every symptom and definitely not take a test every day this week?

When did you get your false negative sleepy? I'm now doubting myself as to when AF is supposed to be due. Still no sign, but lots of discharge. No other symptoms though... Really glad you've told parents! :)

Greyhorses · 18/05/2015 08:35

Hi everyone!
First post to this thread!
Here's my stats
Age: 24
Cycle: 2

I'm having a very strange cycle this time- I thought I was in the 2ww after tracking ovulation with an app however I have now got ewcm again (a lot more than the first time!) on cd21...

Think this means I'm out this month as this means we have timed wrong! Good luck to everyone else Smile

SleepyDragon · 18/05/2015 07:54

Morning ladies!!!

hewy thank you! definitely fdownload the app, its a freebie one and really got my head in gear about waht was due when and its based on your cycle so doesn't 'guess' when your fertile window will be.

finding Definitely do not give up hope! a friend of mine (31, also o/weight) has been trying for 3 years and is now 23wk, and another just had her DS2 on IVF, there is always a chance.

haquoi we've decided to tell our parents this weekend after all. I was already feeling queasy in the mornings and we're all going on a big family holiday next week so it would be too hard to try hide my not eating certain things and being ill. we won't be telling anyone else until after the 12wk mark though.

i know a couple of you have mentioned going back through the post for my symptoms.... basically i had the following:

feeling queasy
feeling 'full'
sore tongue
went off coffee (although only for a week bizarrely)
lots of 'gas' Blush
feeling dizzy
random sharp 'pinching' pains

i did NOT have any implantation bleeding or sore boobs or EWMC

i do seem to have developed a really annoying peffy cough which is the start of my being sick for the past couple of mornings as opposed to just feeling queasy....

diamond thank you! i have been on the pill/injection/mini-pill for around 16 years and i think i had 4AF's in that entire time. I'm glad you thought i was getting my BFP, i just thought it was too much Nandos at lunch on Friday LOL My DH is over the moon which is really lovely to see as he is NOT an 'emotional' bloke lol!

Oh and linking from the other posts..... i'm an only child too! lol!

haquoi i also had a false negative so if AF doesn't come please do try again in a few days??

i agree with the ante natal thread too... you were the first 'ladies' i spoke to and i don't want to leave you now!!!

findingmyfeet12 · 17/05/2015 20:03

Name: findingmyfeet12
Age: 35
Cycle: 85+
Bfp: 27th

I can't believe my cycle number. I hope no one works out average stats because that will really mess it up! I don't even know the exact number as its been so long. I'm going to just call it 85.

haquoi123 · 17/05/2015 19:26

That's amazing diamond, thanks! Fingers crossed this anniversary will be fruitful xx

haquoi123 ttc #2 (late miscarriage at 19 weeks), age 26,
cycle 6 (this month) bfp due 16th May
cycle 7 (when AF finally arrives) bfp due 15th June

Great that your dh is on board hewy!

hewy · 17/05/2015 17:37

Antenatal thread for us all would be awesome. I talked dh through the SMEP this morning. He seemed ok with it and is happy for now to keep providing this stuff on demand! What a good lad! Come on little eggies and spermies.
Name: hewy
Ttc#1
Age 31
Cycle 5
BFP due 5th June

diamondsparkles · 17/05/2015 16:46

Diamondsparkles ttc #2, age 37, cycle 11, bfp due June 13th (spookily that date is exact 1 year anniversary of dh saying to me he wanted to ttc - let's hope it has a positive effect for this month, gutted to have reached that milestone with nothing though

diamondsparkles · 17/05/2015 16:43

I think I've worked it out - I can do it on notes on my phone then take a picture of it then attach the file. So can you all do a quick post with the following:-
Name, ttc #, age, cycle, bfp date
Then I'll see what I can do!
Also think of a group name or title we can have Grin

diamondsparkles · 17/05/2015 16:32

haquoi - I know what you mean about not wanting to test, I am still hoping for you though. Fingers crossed you get an answer one way or the other soon and are out of limbo.
We'll need to do a new thread when we finish page 40 so got a bit of time yet but I would love us all to stick together Grin
I'm not sure how we do a stats list - I always go on here on my phone so not sure - but I'll have a look and see if I can work it out!
Yes ante natal thread would be awesome! X

haquoi123 · 17/05/2015 16:18

diamond, no haven't tested again, yesterdays was a resounding no and I don't want to get my hopes up. Starting to get some very very minor cramping, so hopefully AF will turn up soon. Then I can update my stats and hop on the SMEP bus with you guys! I know what you mean about finding yourself at a stage where you're not pregnant when you believed you would be. I haven't been trying for that long, but I've definitely had that a few times.

Also, how do we create stats sheets? And when do we need to create a new thread?

An antenatal thread together would be awesome!! Onwards and upwards for next month!

diamondsparkles · 17/05/2015 15:41

finding - it would be great wouldn't it?! We could quite happily tell each other things that no one in real life would be interested in and go through the different stages together Grin. Nothing would be tmi!!

findingmyfeet12 · 17/05/2015 15:00

I'd love to be on an antenatal thread with all of you - it would be loads of fun as non pregnant friends and family probably wouldn't want their ears bending regularly!

diamondsparkles · 17/05/2015 14:45

haquoi - cross post! How are you feeling? Have you tested today?

diamondsparkles · 17/05/2015 14:43

Hi haquoi - have you tested again? Af being heavy and horrible to me Sad, hope it won't stick around too long. We were at a wedding yesterday so had a few drinks last night, was a bit sad at one point as thought back to when we were invited to it months ago and presumed I would be pregnant when I went - oh well, how wrong I was. It was lovely though.
remember - glad you're having a nice time, girly chats are great!
birchy - yey - you're starting smep then - you're a few days ahead of me, here are my stats:
Ttc #2, age 37, cycle 11 (Sad) cd2, I am going to get my bfp on June 13th also doing smep this cycle.
Was thinking as well, this thread is going so well we'll have to think of a good name for our little group when we start the new thread (unless we're all on the antenatal threads together) Grin

haquoi123 · 17/05/2015 14:40

That sounds exciting remember and fab to have a week not thinking about ttc. Is there supposed to be a drop when your period starts? Is there any overall rise or fall in the high in the peaks? My bbt arrived but I've not yet used it. Waiting for AF to arrive first (although I probably should get some practice in).

Birchy, you are a wonderful ray of positivity just when I'm starting to feel down, thank you :) AF isn't here, but starting to feel a heaviness, so hopefully in the next couple of days she'll turn up.

birchygoo · 17/05/2015 11:32

hey all just a little update on stats - cycle 7 cd8 starting smep this cycle. ttc#1 age 30 and first month bbt and I am going to get my bfp on 10th June! I also use cbfm

Rememberallball · 17/05/2015 07:38

Morning all, sorry not really been on mych this week - was busy with work earlier in the week then have been visiting a friend for the weekend of girlie chats and meals out!! Its been lovely to spend time with my friend and, apart from bringing my bbt with me, there's no ttc pressures here which has helped me relax a bit more.

On the ttc front it's been an odd weekend. I keep getting unusual twinges in my abdomen but it comes and goes and doesn't have me reaching for the pain killers!! I'm d24 today and, last month, af visited on d25 so it could be the run up to her unwelcome arrival.

My bbt chart, such as it is so far, is almost daily peaks and troughs like a mountain range with rises and drops of anything up to 0.25c per day and, when it drops, I think "oh well, af will arrive soon" then, the next day, it jumps up again. I know I need to get a full cycle on the chart to see what's happening and to learn more about my cycle. At least it's keeping me busy!!

haquoi123 · 16/05/2015 20:03

Thanks birchy, finding and hewy. Sorry that AF is finally here for you diamond. Fx she won't be too long. How are you feeling? No sign of AF at all for me, not even cramps or anything! All symptoms, whether pre-menstrual or possible pregnancy have gone! I don't think I'm pregnant at all, not if I'm honest with myself, but I hope this isn't another month where AF is 10 or so days late. I'm also going camping next weekend, so I'm hoping she comes soon!

finding what your mil said absolutely sucks! That's so unkind! Your dh sounds lovely though - I think it's great when men want to do an equal share/ be main carer. My dh and I wanted to equally share work (we're both self employed) and care, but since DS died I've been working less & earning less, so I'm not sure how it'd work out. I think its something important to hold on to though. Without knowing anything about how clomid works, I'd be very surprised if you didn't ovulate on it, seeing as that's what it's supposed to do. Do you usually get clear ovulation signs?

findingmyfeet12 · 16/05/2015 16:48

AF started on 28th diamond so I should be in my tww now but I've had not ovulation symptoms so I'm not hopeful. Tmi but we've dtd every day bar one on the recommended days. I'm going to try not to test before the end of the month (provided AF doesn't make an appearance)

diamondsparkles · 16/05/2015 15:45

Thanks birchy, finding and hewy, I expected it. Af is kind of here now but light so I hope it doesn't mean it'll hang around for ages and ages, just want it over and done with.
Finding your mil sounds very insensitive too, stupid comments like that make me angry. Your dh sounds great, so thoughtful, I can understand what you mean, I feel like I'm letting dh down. Have you got a date in mind for testing to focus on? I'm really hoping for you.
Hewy I've got digital clearblue too - all lined up and ready for SMEP!!

hewy · 16/05/2015 15:05

Sorry about the bfn diamond and haquoi. Rubbish. My AF is just over-today is CD7. I have 25-27 day cycles and only occasionally go to 28 days, so not sure which bit of my cycle is the shorter bit. I think I'm ovulating earlier than day 14 though-maybe on day 12? I'm cb digital monitor this month to try to work it out-had circle this morning which is as expected. Hoping ovulation happens this Thursday and that AF/BFP happens 14 days later. Not sure if shorter cycles is good or not-means less time to wait to try again, but perhaps more irregular ovulation so tricky to time.
Anyway enough about me. Get yourself a treat lined up for next week to get yourself through AF and lets get this SMEP started!

birchygoo · 16/05/2015 11:56

goodness finding I can't believe what some people say - but they are only making themselves look silly as there is no facts in all what they are spouting! Let it go in one ear and out the other. It will happen for you and your dh, just like I am sure it will happen for us all, one way or another

findingmyfeet12 · 16/05/2015 10:58

Btw - my mil told me that it was my fault that I didn't have any children as I'd been on the pill at the beginning of my marriage. I'm not sure how she thinks most other women practice birth control...

findingmyfeet12 · 16/05/2015 10:56

Sorry for the bfns ladies.

My dh has convinced himself that the clomid will work for us and I'm terrified of his disappointment if it doesn't. He'll be gutted. His brothers already have children and I think he'll be a great dad. He's already told me that he wants to try to do the bulk of the childcare and never wants me to feel under pressure. He runs his own business and wants to take the baby (if it happens) into work with him so I can have some time for myself if I need to. He's so thoughtful that I ache to be able to have a baby with him. He's even looked at fun activities that we could do as a family (involving my parents too).

Despite the clomid, I've had no ewcm at all and no other signs that I've even ovulated this cycle Sad

birchygoo · 16/05/2015 09:30

I'm sri you both had bfn this morning - was AF due today?

some people ate so insensitive with their comments and really need to engage their brains before opening their mouths. can't believe that GP
