I've still got about a week to go before I can POAS. DH and I have been trying for about 5 months, but I have very irregular cycles so it's all really hard to judge. I usually go about 2 weeks between periods so following that, AF should be due to arrive before the end of this week. But I'm thinking that would be too early to test and am very impatient! I've also been taking agnus castus this month on the advice of a medical friend so I'm feeling tentatively hopeful. Anyone around who wants to wait it out with me and not read too much into every symptom and definitely not take a test every day this week?

haquoi - good luck with testing xxx

birchygoo · 22/05/2015 07:57

remember if you are having a long cycle you d21 blood tests may have missed your ovulation. I was told when having mine that if af didn't appear 7 days later I would need them repeated. so maybe they have just missed your ovulation ...

I'm also of to Cornwall tomorrow - here is hoping for lots of Cornish babies Wink

haquoi good luck with testing today fx

Rememberallball · 22/05/2015 07:22

Thanks Haquoi, we had a great time last night seeing my nephew in an am dram production of Fiddler om the Roof which was excellent. Took mum who, whilst recovering physically from her illness, is feeling mentally drained. It's been a difficult year for her given we only lost dad 4 months ago.

I've been temping for 2 weeks now; am waiting for an appearance from af (probably while we're away knowing my luck) but, strangely, my temp is continuing to rise - today it's the highest it's been since I started at 36.92c but I know from the blood test last week that I didn't ovulate this cycle. I'm d29 today so wondering if im going to have a long cycle compared to last month which was only 25 days long.

Having a relaxed morning waiting for DP to wake up enough to get going and sorted out with packing etc before sorting out this sample he needs to produce - apparently everything/anything he needs to do this morning will take 5 minutes per task!!!

Can't wait to go and see my aunt & uncle as we rarely see each other without other family around and they've wanted to spend time with dp to get to know him. It's only lunch today as we're stopping off on our way to Cornwall to visit dp's family. Can't wait to be sat in future mils this evening knowing we're on holiday!!

haquoi123 · 22/05/2015 00:38

finding that sounds great - even if you couldn't properly relax it will have done you some good :)

brown, lovely to have you back! Yes, babies and pregnant women are everywhere, it drives me nuts as well - but soon we will join them :) fx for you this month though.

diamond, yup, time to test again tomorrow. No af and still masses of ewcm (where was it when I was ovulating?!). I'm not really sure what to expect tbh... Not quite as nervous as I was on Wednesday - I feel write calm about it (having anxiety issues about other stuff, but calm about this for some reason). Are you taking the she - oak? Is anyone else?

remember, enjoy your holiday!

diamondsparkles · 21/05/2015 21:49

Hi brown - I know - there are pregnant women everywhere! I'm cd6, so a few days til I start on the ovulation tests - it's the boring part of the cycle. So I'm a few days behind you.
ickle - so sorry to hear that, you must be so fed up but as others have said you've got your age on your side and lots of women with PCOS do conceive. Big hugs and Flowers.
So what's the next stage for you? Will you be getting medical assistance?
haquoi - any more symptoms? It's test day tomorrow isn't it?!
finding - the acupuncture sounds positive

Red193 · 21/05/2015 19:23

So today my boobs are still like rock and the smell aversion is still going strong but strangely as well I found myself eating grapes!!! I don't like fruit so even if I get a BFN next week the healthy eating will be a positive to take from it! Anyone else going to be due to test from Monday onwards?

hewy · 21/05/2015 18:41

Oh ickle that is crap. I'm sure you're devastated, but there are so many people out there with pcos and success stories so don't give up. As haquoi says, it's better to know and then you can make plans. Hugs to you. xx

findingmyfeet12 · 21/05/2015 18:36

Onwards and upwards is definitely how I feel at the moment too ickle. Your youth is bound to be a point in your favour.

I went to acupuncture today. I couldn't relax properly during the session although the doctor was lovely and had a very calming demeanour.
I'm going again next month. She explained that the treatment was to prepare my uterus. She's also prescribed me magnesium and some digestive enzymes.

haquoi123 · 21/05/2015 18:28

Oh ickle, I'm so sorry to hear that! Are they going to help you with conceiving? Did AF arrive in the end? It's really good that you found out now though and you're right, you're doing everything in your power. Really thinking of you (and lovely to hear from you again!)

Icklepickle101 · 21/05/2015 18:18

I'm still around ladies!

How is everyone getting on?

I had confrontation of what I always knew, severe PCOS and damage to my ovaries and basically told it's now or never! I'm not even 21 yet so absoloutely devastated, but even if things don't work out how I so desperately want them to, I know I've done everything in my power to make it possible - onwards and upwards

hewy · 21/05/2015 17:17

No smiley for me yet - just the empty circle. I've never used ov predictor before and still a bit confused about when I ovulate but have loads of ewcm (sorry everyone!!) so hoping for a smiley tomorrow. We've been dtd every day since Sunday and plan to keep at it til Tuesday I think ... if we can!
Fingers crossed for testing haquoi and finding.

SleepyDragon · 21/05/2015 16:53

oops i got my haquoi and my hewy mixed up

apologies ladies, i'm sneakily doing this at work! lol

SleepyDragon · 21/05/2015 16:48

Awww thanks diamond and hewy i'm not sure i've ever been called a success story before lol! x

browneyedgirl86 · 21/05/2015 16:27

And of course Diamond when I mean where are you I mean In cycle terms. Just off a 12 hour shift!

Off to see my horse and will check in with you all later

browneyedgirl86 · 21/05/2015 16:26

Hi Diamond I'm on day 13 I think. I need to get some ovulation sticks, I keep saying it but need to do it!

Just haven't been around as like you just feeling quite crappy about the whole ttc business. It feels like every time I turn around another woman I know is pregnant!

How are you? Where are you?
Hi haquoi I'm still here! Hello to everyone else! I need to try and catch up on everything!

Rememberallball · 21/05/2015 15:30

DP has got appointment for 10am tomorrow morning (thankfully) so we need to 'get producing' and get a (possibly) 45 minute drive to the hospital to deliver it - and it has to arrive within 1 hour of production!!

I will be so pleased to get on the road to go on holiday for a few days straight from the hospital!! I'm going to need this break more than anything. Only downer will be that AF will probably appear while we're away!!

diamondsparkles · 21/05/2015 13:00

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been quiet - I have been lurking but been fed up about the whole ttc thing. I just needed to wallow a bit.
You've all been very chatty, sorry if I miss anyone:
red - welcome to the thread, exciting you're nearly at poas time! Keep us updated!
haquoi - glad your reflexologist was positive - she sounds really good. Your symptoms sound promising too, can't wait for you to poas!! Enjoy your camping too Grin
hewy - do you think you've ovulated now then? I'm on cd6 or 7, very heavy af which is not like me so feel like it'll never end.
remember - that sounds like positive action then, have you managed to get the appointment for tomorrow for the SA?
finding - that sounds very promising! I'm so hoping for you too.
birchy - sounds like your ovulation will be mon or tues if you'll get your peak mon - I had a stupid month last month where just got flashing smilies for 6 days then ran out of sticks!
brown - nice to hear from you, where are you in your cycle?

browneyedgirl86 · 21/05/2015 11:52

Hi everyone,

Sorry not been around much. How is everyone? Need to have a good catch up!

birchygoo · 21/05/2015 11:05

Hey everyone. I have been reading and catching up but I have not been feeling to hot - only I haven't ovulated I would think I was pregnant!

very nauseous, dizzy, mild cramps and veryyy tired! I only got my first high reading on cbfm sticks today! cd 10

Am going on a weekend break on Saturday morning so hopefully coincides with ovulation :-) although my ovuapp suggests that I will not ovulate until next Tuesday/Wednesday.. seems a bit early to be getting high readings on ovulation sticks then do yous not think? Actually Im just adding up in my head - I normally get high for 4 days then a peak. So Monday for peak sounds about right .. ..

remember good luck with the rest of the tests - is clomid a drug that helps to ovulate?

haquoi ohh symptoms sound promising - keeping fx for you x

findingmyfeet12 · 21/05/2015 10:23

I'm not going to poas until the end of the month (I'll wait until af is due).

Your symptoms sound promising Haquoi. It's hard not to get excited.

haquoi123 · 21/05/2015 09:32

Better day today diamond? Smiley face yet hewy? What about you birchy?

Also brown and ickle are you still there?

haquoi123 · 21/05/2015 09:30

remember that's complicated! I hope you manage to get them in this morning!

Exciting, finding!! When did you say you would poas? (is that the 8th time I've asked you? Confused)

My lower stomach feels really tender - not crampy, but sore. I don't know what that means. And I felt sick yesterday, but I did eat half a big bar of chocolate...! Smells though, they're back to being slightly strange. We'll see!

findingmyfeet12 · 21/05/2015 09:16

Morning ladies.

Good luck with it all Remember.

I'm trying not to be make anything of it but I felt crampy last night and feel a bit sick this morning. I've imagined symptoms so many times before though so I'll see what happens.

It's my acupuncture appointment in a while so I'll go and get ready for that.

Rememberallball · 21/05/2015 07:18

We have to ring this morning for an appointment to drop the sample off (hoping they'll be able to fit us in tomorrow morning before we go away) and then I think the results are sent to GP within a week so should be able to pick them up next week if we do go tomorrow. Problem is it has to be a day I'm around as dp doesn't drive and they have to arrive at hospital within an hour of production!! So, if not tomorrow, it will be week after next - eek!!

haquoi123 · 20/05/2015 22:28

That's good news remember, I'm really pleased to hear that - there's so hope :) and great that you're being referred as well! They'll look after you brilliantly I'm sure. Fingers crossed for your dh's swimmers. When will you hear back about them?
