I promise to have a bit of a catch up, but just a quick question, has anyone here had any private fertility tests? If so, do you have any recommendations please.

Sparkly123 · 07/04/2015 21:32

Thanks Rainy maybe that is something to try.

Nomio thanks lovely. I don't like to moan to you all!

Baker welcome! your dh sounds exactly like mine!!! I'm the same stats as you - cycle 7 too including an early mc in January. Really sorry to hear of your mc and hope you get your forever BFP very very soon lovely. I know it's hard going at times, we all have bad days so feel free to share here! Flowers

Welcome to the madhouse baker, May the forth be with you ;-) x

Baker47 · 07/04/2015 21:21

Hi Ladies, can I join you all? I'm finding this ttc business hard going and could do the moral support (DH tries his best, though it's usually along the lines of ' just put it to the back of your mind & it will happen when it will happen ' Hmm)

We've been trying for about 7 months now and had a mc in Jan, so hoping and praying for a sticky bean soon!

Stats

Baker47, 33, ttc #1, cycle 7, bfp due May 4th

Nomio230 · 07/04/2015 21:20

I drink gallons of water & am not a nympho!

Sparkly, it is understandable that you will have bad days every now & then. It must be horrible to to be stuck in the house all day. Hugs for you. ??

Rainy34 · 07/04/2015 21:17

Sparkly As a spotter myself i know how hard it is when it starts, must be ten times worse when you have nothing to take your mind from it,really hope it stops for you, if i have the same results next month with the evening primrose oil maybe that will be something to help you ,

Rainy34 · 07/04/2015 21:14

Spinning iv just topped up my glass full of water, will be drinking it by the gallon now lol

Sparkly123 · 07/04/2015 21:13

OP posts:
victoria401 · 07/04/2015 21:12

Hmmm dh doesn't drink any water. Just tea and coffee (decaf)....

Hope you feel brighter tomorrow sparkly I hate spotting too. How many dpo are you?

Sparkly123 · 07/04/2015 21:07

Sorry that was a self indulgent ridiculous post Spinners I shouldn't complain as not I can manage out at times where as a few years ago that was not an option at all so I should always appreciate it. It's just frustrating at times, and I've found TTC adds a little extra to it all now too. Tomorrow is another day! Grin I'm not watching one born yet but I drink gallons of water! Ha ha

OP posts:
spinningirl10 · 07/04/2015 21:04

Ok, new thing to do.......drink lots of water! According to OBEM it will improve vitality and make you want more sexGrin
I drink tonnes of water and dp drinks coke, could explain a lot Grin

spinningirl10 · 07/04/2015 21:01

Sparkly, I real feel for you. It must be so hard to not be able to carry on your life as you would wish. As you say, being stuck at home when you're down is not nice. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you and that spotting disappears. Here's some flowers to brighten your eveningThanksThanks

Sparkly123 · 07/04/2015 20:56

Spinning that's a great attitude to have lovely! I haven't been good today. I have noticed I find the TWW quite hard when I'm stuck in bed or in house with nothing to distract me. I've done so good this cycle this far but as I've overdone things past couple days I now have to rest to recover which means I'm stuck in the house and as spotting started today I think I've felt a bit disappointed and lost my positivity! Spotting always crushes me! it's quite draining not getting away from your thoughts and being able to distract yourself. Anyway! I'm sure Tomor I'll pick myself up again on the TTC front, think just been a hard day today.

GrinGrinGrin bunnies have gone!!

spinningirl10 · 07/04/2015 20:44

Hope you feel better soon nomio and yeah too early for symptoms at 4dpo! I'm wondering if mine is bowel-y, I have wind.... Tmi!

I had something to say to butter, its gone.

Nomio230 · 07/04/2015 20:23

Could be implantation, Victoria! Sounds like you have baby brain already!

Purdey, your DH is a star. Star

spinningirl10 · 07/04/2015 20:19

Ah Purdey, sorry it was awful. Hope you're not too uncomfortable now. Yay for dh, what a star he isSmile

Victoria, hope the stomach cramps bugger off soon.

victoria401 · 07/04/2015 20:14

Urgh long day at work but finished off with a lovely reflexology session. Then went to feed friends cat and it flipping gouged some ravines in my hand the little git! What happened to don't bite the hand that feeds you? Really strong cramps tonight now, not due on til Saturday!

Do you know what? I'm sure my brain has gone. I can't remember what anyone said on the previous page to reply to anyone :-(

Rainy34 · 07/04/2015 20:07

MrsBo Sorry to hear AF got you yesterday, hope the pain has gone!!

Sparkly hoping the spotting is implantation spotting, fingers crossed

Purdie hope you survived you invasion today and not to traumatised, Stuff crust pizza sounds good, Yeah I think our chat we had last night has given him to much enthusiasm, think i need to reign him in Lol

purdiepie · 07/04/2015 20:02

Rainy, do not buy the pram yet. If you end up with Siamese twins joined at the head you'll need a really wide one.

I am just back from bum invasion. 'Twas not fun. Not Fun At All. DH turned up in a taxi (nurse wouldn't release me without him coming to pick me up due to sedation) with a carrier bag containing a Wispa Gold, a tiny box of After Eight mints and a can of energy drink: 'These are for the way home. I've got the oven on for a stuffed crust pizza with pepperoni, your favourite. It's massive too, I've put the tot to bed early and taped Emmerdale for you. I've missed you, Sweet'art.' He's my hero Smile

spinningirl10 · 07/04/2015 19:32

Nomio, sorry you're feeling poorly but ah I like your dh's positive thinking Smile get better soonThanks

Butter, sorry for the bfn, fx it's just too early.

spinningirl10 · 07/04/2015 19:28

Sammy, lovely to see you, hope you're having a wonderful holiday and all the lovely French food!

Eskimo, I hadn't seen Aidan Turner in anything else. Really must watch the Hobbit and Lord of The Rings. I hope you can find somewhere to go with your dogs, I can understand you not wanting to leave them at home.

Dizzy, my dp loves the Godfather, he keeps saying we must watch them together. When we were in San Francisco he saw the building where they were written, he was very excited! Your Easter Sunday sounds lovely after those awful night shifts.
Sorry af arrived for you, onwards and upwards to next cycle and ovSmile

Glittery, fx af doesn't show up. Have you any other symptoms apart from sore boobs?

Hair, sorry you're feeling down. Ttc puts so much pressure on us as couples. I think twice at the weekend was good. We're trying AI next cycle, before Xmas dp was dead against it but he hates forced sex and is all for it now, I'm quite excited to try something new and hoping it will return our sex life to normal Wink
I also agree with Purdeys comments, men definitely need their egos stroking......why is this? Women are not like this, they just crack on!!

Tessie, let's hope af stays away for both of us. Ooh a visit to the Poldark home, how exciting. It looks beautiful on tv, as you say though, shame Ross won't be there.......maybe you could email him and see if he'd put in a cameo appearance Smile

Sparkly, ooh yes OBEM, I'd forgotten that, thank youSmile oh no, brown spottingHmm I'm keeping fx that this is implantation and not a sign of af.

Melon, what is going on with your af? Have you taken any new supplements this cycle?

Haha hand shandies GrinGrin

Pikz, sorry you haven't ov'd. Dtd eod sounds positive. Will you see a consultant after this cycle?

Victoria, hang in there, I hate that type of heavy belly!

Ah Rainy, that's really sweet that your dh is getting excited about pushchairsSmile

And lastly, Purdey, where are you? Really hope the bum cam went ok and you able to empty out before hand!

It's been beautiful here again today. We went for brekkie with dp and then had a walk along the beach. I did a bit more decorating this aft and then ds and I took his remote controlled car out for a cliff top walkSmile
