Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

Congrats to all that got bfp's! And hope everyone else is good. Still no Af here :(! I think I may have ovulated this month though if this is even possible!!! I noticed fertile cm the other day so on a wim rushed off and bought ovulation sticks in tesco! Anyways it came up positive!!!! Does this mean I ovulated?? Ds is 19 months now so if my Af doesn't return soon I think I will have to wean :( :(! We are down to two feeds a day now.

YokoUhOh · 11/04/2015 22:15

Ooh ooh thanks everyone for the fx and welcome mistletoe

You lot are lovely, and really inclusive!

Thanks for hanging around, Duchess, your story gives me hope!

YokoUhOh · 11/04/2015 22:12

MrsMoo, it is possible to have AF whilst still bfeeding, especially as you've now stopped at night. I'm sure yours will return sooner than mine did (I waited 2.5 years...)

Duchess007 · 11/04/2015 22:11

Welcome Mistletoe and MrsMoo Smile Hope you find this group as supportive as I have.

Duchess007 · 11/04/2015 22:09

No problem Pear Smile happy to answer anything that may help someone else. Am going to hang around for a little while if that's ok, while it all sinks in. Plus am way too invested now in everyone's journeys to a BFP! Wink

MistletoeBUTNOwine · 11/04/2015 22:07

On demand pretty much Ruth... But gone back to work 2 days a week so he doesn't get any for 2x 8hrs
Still regularly through the night too Confused

Opks probably needed as no idea when/if I'm ovulTing. CD 33 tomorrow, no sign of AF yet , duchess has given me hope! Grin

peardrop2 · 11/04/2015 22:00

Duchess - thanks, that's kind of you to share. I hate it when people bugger off straight away without answering everyone's questions so thanks for making the effort Smile I take my hats off to you for Dtd for that length of time without even knowing whether you had ovulated!

Mumof1sofar · 11/04/2015 21:42

Welcome mrsmoo. I am in the same boat but 11mo dc so fx for us both Smile

MrsMoo3 · 11/04/2015 21:22

Hello ladies, can I join? I have 14mth old DS and still bf 3x a day (at least). Just stopped night feeds. Still no AF but some cramping feelings so maybe on its way? Interesting to see you can get pregnant while still bf. Don't want to stop if I don't have to, but don't want a big age gap if possible!

Duchess007 · 11/04/2015 20:49

Thanks for all the congratulations messages Smile

In case it helps anyone in any way, here are my stats etc with some extra info. For those asking, I don't know when I ovulated I'm afraid. By my LMP date, my EDD would be 2nd Dec but I really don't think this was a 28 day (or thereabouts) cycle.

Duchess007, age 30, Cycle 1 TTC No.2
AF returned 24th Nov (just before DD's 1st birthday) - 26 day cycle
AF 19th Dec - 42 day cycle
AF 30th Jan - 26 day cycle
Started taking mini pill as had decided to wait and TTC next year, but then changed our minds!
AF 25th Feb, decided to stop taking mini pill on this day and counted it as CD1.
At this point, I was still feeding DD when she woke up in the morning, about once during the day and at bedtime, about 10-15 mins per feed.
(Possibly TMI, but DTD every 2 or 3 days from CD8 to Cd33).
20th March - last daytime feed
1st April - last morning feed.
6th April - CD41 BFN
11th April - CD46 BFP Grin

If it was a 42 day cycle, my EDD would be 16th Dec, but coming off mini pill may have had an effect. BFN could have been a false neg, or I just tested one day too early. I will def update once I know!

Just a quick one about opks for anyone thinking of using them - I have only used them this cycle but I think they are brilliant as if I hadn't used them I would have assumed i ovulated around cd12/13/14 & would be poas now, getting bfns & feeling really disappointed, without realising it was far too early to be testing! Smile

Mumof1sofar · 11/04/2015 19:14

Hi all, just catching up & what a lot I've missed!

Eggs sorry af arrived.

Ruth & lea I hope you ovulate soon! I know how annoying waiting is... Although granted I only had to wait til cd20.

Mary yay for pos opk!

Aux glad no feeding is going well. Hope you get your bfp v soon.

Duchess congratulations, that's so exciting!! I'm so pleased for you ??

Welcome mistletoe & best of luck.

Good luck yoko!

Pear glad your sticks arrived & lots of luck for this cycle! Fx for you ??

Nothing much exciting happening here- think I'm 3dpo now so just twiddling my thumbs until I can poas!

auxiliaryauroch · 11/04/2015 17:48

Hi mistle!

auxiliaryauroch · 11/04/2015 17:48

oh pear not sure how I feel. is that normal? I'm not sure how dc is feeling either. SadConfused

peardrop2 · 11/04/2015 15:24

Yoko - good luck. You could be the 3rd BFP this week Wink

peardrop2 · 11/04/2015 15:15

Ahhhh Mistletoe hello Smile I can't pretend it is not annoying to have a newbie introduce themselves and then very soon after announce their BFP...could be you tomorrow Wink I am also madly jelly of all bfps but on the good side I'm quick to say congratulations Smile

MarysPrayer · 11/04/2015 15:09

Welcome mistletoe Smile

YokoUhOh · 11/04/2015 14:32

Congrats Duchess!!

My AF is 'due' tomorrow (assuming my cycle is 28days). I had excruciatingly sore boobs again but that's died down so am fully expecting my 2nd AF over the next few days. Then I can start using the ClearBlue kit and getting some proper answers.

ispyfispi · 11/04/2015 14:29

Congrats Duchess ?? and welcome Mistletoe, we're a nice bunch! I'm mostly just lurking as my dc3 is 17mo and a total milk monster so no AF at all yet....

MistletoeBUTNOwine · 11/04/2015 14:01

Can I join please? Was on a nasty bus before (most ttc #1 for the last million cycles and didn't like newbies getting BFPs or people already having kids! Shock)
I'm 34, TTC #3, still bf DS (15months) and a DD of 9 years (not bf her any longer!) this is cycle #1 but I'm on CD 32 no AF and only BFNS so I think af is playing games Confused

Af returned when DS was 5 months although ebf, using an app to monitor cycles. Seem to average 31 days.
May start using opks if no luck on cycle 2... Never tried them before.

Will read through and catch up with you Smile

peardrop2 · 11/04/2015 13:52

Duchess - congratulations. Do you have any idea how far you're? Christmas baby do you think? Good luck with everything Smile

So, my CBfm sticks arrived today which is amazing because I only ordered them yesterday didn't I?! Anyway, I know I said I wouldn't look at the lines but I can see a second line Blush Naughty I know. I have no doubts that it is nothing. I'm more intrigued to why it's showing a faint second line at 10dpo. Does anyone else use CBFm sticks on here to compare?

MarysPrayer · 11/04/2015 10:53

Brilliant news duchess. Smile Smile
(Posting quickly on my phone, will post properly later.)

AvaAmulet · 11/04/2015 10:52

Massive congratulations, Duchess! Yay!!! Grin

Duchess007 · 11/04/2015 10:48

Morning all, sorry I've been a bit absent this week. Busy week as a lot of my family and friends are teachers, so school holidays always means lots of visitors! I've been shattered! But luckily so has DD so she's been sleeping well which is great.

Mary-that's such great news that you are ovulating. I hope you're doing ok. Thanks

Aux - well done for weaning, even though it must be so hard. Hopefully it will be worth it and you will get BFP soon. Just imagine bf a newborn with your LO cuddled in next to you Wink

Eggs - sorry about AF. Hope it's gone before you know it and you can crack on again.

Pear - what a pain about the OPK's. Love the idea of getting BFP this cycle to tell that woman on the phone what for! Wink

Mumo - well done for keeping up the DTD marathon! Fingers crossed for you.

So, on to my news. Today is CD46 for me. I tested on Monday (Cd41) and got bfn but still no signs of AF, so I tested this morning, and BFP!!! I really can't believe it! It hasn't really sunk in at all and I'm trying not to get ahead of myself as it's early days of course, but I just can't believe it! Smile I thought bf DD seemed a bit painful this week, but I thought it was because of cutting down to one feed in 24 hours and didn't connect it, as I haven't noticed any other breast tenderness at all. I'm usually so obsessive about symptom spotting, I can't believe I missed one!
