Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

I know 50% sounds high but at the same time it's a 50% chance of not catching it Wink Sorry I'll stop babbling now. Just feel for you as I know how frustrated & worried you must feel. Probably mixed emotions with also wanting Dd to get better ASAP! Hope it all blows over very soon Smile

peardrop2 · 17/04/2015 16:35

Mumo - I really hope you're fine. It says there is a 50% chance of household members catching so you've got a good chance that everything will be OK xx

This is the bit that I read..."
The incubation period for clinical erythema infectiosum is 4-20 days before the rash develops. The illness is infective from 10 days pre-rash until the onset of the rash. Once the rash appears, it is no longer infectious.

peardrop2 · 17/04/2015 16:29

Mumo - that's OK. I was actually quite interested in finding out what it was. All these illnesses that I've never heard of before having ds! Here's the link www.patient.co.uk/doctor/parvovirus-infection

Mumof1sofar · 17/04/2015 15:42

Thanks pear, that's really helpful. She had the rash on Weds. The Dr said parvovirus lasts for 6 days & has an incubation period of 2 weeks. Please could you post a link to the info you read?

peardrop2 · 17/04/2015 15:17

Yes I've just read that it's passed on through the placenta. Surely it would be too early for this to happen at conception stage. I'm no doctor (obviously) but I think you would be in more trouble if you were in your 3+ week. Is dd showing a rash yet? According to the website I've been reading up on they're not contagious from the moment they show a rash but it can take 10 days before the rash appears. Anyway, like L says...TG you know now so that you can go anti bac crazy and wash wash wash your hands! Get DH to do more nappy changing this weekend!

Mumof1sofar · 17/04/2015 15:12

Thanks Lea. I've been eating all her leftovers with the same spoon - definitely won't be doing that again!

Leamice · 17/04/2015 15:05

Oh no Mumo! Hope She's better soon. and I'm sure at this early stage you should be fine and at least now you know so you can be extra careful washing hands and cleaning up after her.

Mumof1sofar · 17/04/2015 15:02

Testing on tues. It is a worry! Can't believe the one month I actually feel quite positive during the 2ww then this happens! Confused

peardrop2 · 17/04/2015 14:52

Oh my Sad when are you testing? Monday? What a worry for you Hmm

Mumof1sofar · 17/04/2015 14:33

Yes I did & he said well come back asap if you are. Scary!

peardrop2 · 17/04/2015 14:28

Ooooh Mum!! Shock that sounds awful. Did you tell the GP you're TTC?

Mumof1sofar · 17/04/2015 14:20

Nice to have you back, pear.

I just went to the Dr as dc has been grizzly recently & apparently she's got parvovirus! It is dangerous for pregnant women as can cause miscarriage or foetal heart problems! Brilliant! Sad

AvaAmulet · 17/04/2015 08:52

Sounds like your mn break has done you the world of good, Pear Smile Glad you're okay x

peardrop2 · 17/04/2015 07:39

Hi ladies. Sorry I've been having a little holiday from MN and it's been good for me Smile Nothing is happening at my end so it's been easy to step away from it all. I'm on Cd16. I was really hoping that I would ovulate sooner now that I've stopped bf but I guess it's going to take longer Hmm The my days app says I will Ov on Monday so from past history it will more likely be Wednesday before I see a change in OPks. Typically I have a jam packed week next week. I'm rather sick of having to worry unnecessarily about future plans and fitting Dtd in. Ive not received my Clearblue pack yet (guess they don't trust me Smile) but I'm glad to hear I'm inspiring others to join.

Good luck Ruth and Ava with your Dtd mission. Yoko...yay finally AF has arrived and you can start your cycle knowing where you're! To those of you panicking about feeding extra or night feeding...well I must have seem at least 10 ladies on this thread fall pregnant whilst still bf so really don't worry about that. It seems like only a handful like myself have to stop bf. Lots of successful bfps on here were happily bf away so I'm sure it's not screwing up your chances Wink What else have I missed? Don't think I've missed anymore bfps but it looks like we have a couple more hopefuls on the way v soon!

Mumof1sofar · 17/04/2015 04:12

Night poos are the worst! Poor you lea Confused

My dd is still poorly so I'm just night feeding her... I've fed her so much over the past few days... Sod's law!

Leamice · 17/04/2015 02:42

Yay for the positive opks ladies get BDing Smile

I'm currently trying to cuddle my DS back to sleep when we all know what he wants Sad
Feel really guilty. He woke up as did a night poo - I hate night poos!

Mumof1sofar · 16/04/2015 22:03

Feels like ages Mary!! I'm not v good at waiting. I haven't really got my hopes up as 1st time round it took us a few cycles... Can't help getting excited though!

How is pear doing? Feels like she hasn't been on in ages!

MarysPrayer · 16/04/2015 21:45

Thank you ava and mumo Smile . Not long for you now mumo.

Mumof1sofar · 16/04/2015 21:39

Fx for you Mary.

I had sickness & increased sensitivity to smells with dd. I honestly couldn't say if I'm imagining 'symptoms' or not... Probably! Will poas on Tuesday (if af hasn't arrived) Smile

AvaAmulet · 16/04/2015 21:08

Ruth, we have the same opks Smile and seconding what Mary said, definitely dtdWink

Fx for you, Mary Grin x

MarysPrayer · 16/04/2015 21:02

Thanks Ruth, the migraines followed my cycles exactly before we conceived dd. Had none through pregnancy and very few while bf. Need to get a bfp soon!!

If you've got a strong opk then def dtd just in case LP is a decent one.

Just realised I haven't posted for a few days. Hope everyone's ok.

If(?) I did ovulate then I'm 5dpo so not quite ready to symptom spot. Honestly. ..

We've cut out the morning feed now and, since dd no longer naps, she is now only feeding once, at bedtime. Had a stonking migraine earlier this week though - guess that's what I've got to look forward too unless I get pregnant asap

AvaAmulet · 16/04/2015 20:28

Peeeeaaaaarrr! Are you theeeeerrrre? Blush You're ov'ing this week too, right? Where/how are you? You're my poas buddy?? Confused

Well, here's an update from me - not had much to report and been too busy having fun in the sun with DD Grin but back to business now... My ov stick came up with a super strong test line straight away today - 3 days earlier than expected going by last month's cycle...does that mean I may have increased my luteal phase from 11 days to ("hallelujah!") 14 days?! Shock

DD was stuck to my boob for 2 days this week, still not sure why. I'm still essentially feeding on demand but she's been so good lately with not demanding as much iykwim? But Monday and Tuesday were crazy - total regression - practically all day and night on and off Hmm

My temps seem to be following almost the exact same pattern as this time last month. So, I'm not going to analyse my chart against other people's this month and drive myself crazy, as it's given me some hope that these temps are 'normal' for me Smile Hopefully I'll get a temp dip tomorrow or the next day to confirm ov again Wink x
