Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

Has anyone seen the film 'what to expect when you're expecting'? At the beginning one of the characters gets her hubby to come to her work to dtd there as she's just got a positive opk!Smile

Mumof1sofar · 21/04/2015 09:37

Pear how exciting! Can dh get home from work on his lunch break WinkWinkWink I go with the others - definitely still time this month... At least it takes the hassle out of waiting for a peak!Smile

AvaAmulet · 21/04/2015 08:40

Oh just read what Lea said - yay for a longer LP for both of us! Wink x

AvaAmulet · 21/04/2015 08:36

Pear, I cannot believe the same thing that's happened me has happened to you this monthShock! Right, plan of action, dtd tonite, tomorrow morning and maybe tomorrow night too. An egg can be fertilised for up go 36 hours, so there's still time? You are also almost definitely going to get a girl if you get a bfp this month Wink x

We only ended up dtd the day before and the day after my opks showed a positive this month Hmm

Good luck Flowers x

peardrop2 · 21/04/2015 08:35

Thanks Lea. It only takes one sperm right?! Smile

Leamice · 21/04/2015 08:11

This could be it for you pear! Jump DH as soon as he gets home from work! And then again when you go to bed or in the middle of the night. You'll have a decent LP to allow the egg to implant got my fx for you.

peardrop2 · 21/04/2015 07:13

Well there we go ladies. Stopping Bf has brought my ov forward. I've not ovulated this early before. Sorry I'm in shock, hence the babbling!

peardrop2 · 21/04/2015 07:08

13 days until AF. Blows what I said to Mumof1 about my LP!!! ConfusedConfusedConfusedConfused

peardrop2 · 21/04/2015 07:04

DH is not home until tonight. I want to cry. Why do I continuously ignore my body and put all my trust in my stupid stupid CBFM. If I Dtd tonight I've got so little hope haven't I Hmm

peardrop2 · 21/04/2015 07:00

Mumof1 - I'm afraid I don't hold much hope because if I have another 32 day cycle this month then my LP probably isn't long enough again Hmm However, in the past my cycles have known to get longer so again it's all up in the air!

So, my temp for the last 8 days has been 37.05. What could I expect to see if I ovulate?

Crap crap crap!!!!! I've gone straight to peak!!! My stupid crappy CBFM has gone straight to peak. Arghgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh! How can this happen to me Hmm I have not Dtd once this month. FFS!!!! Honestly I really hate my cbfm. I knew I had a bit more CM yesterday and yet I completely ignored it. Oh man Hmm I'm gutted. Am I just too lazy for this TTC business? I really did not expect this. I was gearing myself up for a full weeks worth of Dtd so I was waiting until my monitor showed a high. I hate my monitor. My pee was much weaker yesterday. I must have missed it. Sorry for the rant ladies I'm just so cross with myself Shock

Mumof1sofar · 20/04/2015 22:57

Let's hope this is the lucky one for you, pear Smile

I've had that exact same thing - last month I actually felt cramping, pulling, etc. & I also even felt nauseous quite a bit too!! God knows what that was about?? I'm with you ladies- ignoring EVERYTHING this month as it's too confusing otherwise Confused

peardrop2 · 20/04/2015 22:23

Ava: hahahhahahah! I wish sometimes I could have 2 DH just so that I can always talk about TTC with one of them Wink

Ruth: I'm sorry I'm not sure. I've experienced similar and like Ava nothing came from it. It's tough when your body tricks you Confused

Mumof1 - This is my 6th cycle since tracking. We never used protection since DS was born but only started tracking and what I would call serious TTC 6 months a go.

The fish and chips was YUM Grin

AvaAmulet · 20/04/2015 22:07

Ruth, not sure what to say about the pain 3 days after the positive opk? Could it be the egg travelling down the Fallopian tube? I've given up on paying attention to my twinges as they just confuse me Confused

Last month I thought I was so in tune with my body - I felt a 'pulling' sensation about the time the egg would have been released, and really bad cramps around the time of 'implantation'...then got my bfn Hmm so I'm totally ignoring my crazy body this month and the total lack of symptom spotting has made me much more relaxed in this 2ww Wink It did drive me almost totally crazy last month, trying to figure out what was going on Blush x

Mumof1sofar · 20/04/2015 21:53

Good luck Ruth, fx for you Smile

Thanks Ava Smile

AvaAmulet · 20/04/2015 21:22

Mumo, I just type 'breastfeeding ttc stats' in the search box hth Wink x

AvaAmulet · 20/04/2015 21:20

Sorry my typo makes it look like you have a DH #2 hidden away! Shock x

Mumof1sofar · 20/04/2015 21:20

Pear, fish & chips sounds yummy! How long have you been trying now, can't remember where the stats are. Just to update mine:

Mumof1sofar, 32, ttc#2, cycle 3, bfp due around 23rd May (based on this cycle length).

Do I need to add anything?

AvaAmulet · 20/04/2015 21:18

Other than DH Wink x

AvaAmulet · 20/04/2015 21:09

Pear, glad you have someone in RL, other DH, to confide in re ttc - it's nice to offload face to face sometimes Brew x

peardrop2 · 20/04/2015 20:49

TMI alert. I'm starting to see a little change in cm. Very exciting! Now I just need to see a change in the cbfm and I'll be Smile

I shared my TTC battle with a close friend today. She was so sympathetic & it was lovely to say it out loud to someone who didn't judge me for wanting it sooooo bad. She really wasn't aware that bf could have that strong effect on conception so I'm glad it's not just me Wink

peardrop2 · 20/04/2015 20:44

Mumof1 - I'm absolutely shattered! Have managed to persuade DH to go and buy naughty fish and chips as I just can't face cooking or anything related to the kitchen Wink

auxiliaryauroch · 20/04/2015 19:52

Thanks for the replies guys! I wasn't sure how much to take so I've one for 1000mg per day. Hope I don't turn into a primrose! Hmm
mumo sorry about af. It's rubbish I know. We all know. Aaaa-aaaah just thinking about af appearing again this month is awful and I'm only on cd14 I think with no ov in sight. Hope you're having a glass of wine to celebrate.
pear sending play date hugs.
ava Flowers
And Flowers to everyone else too! Smile may your tuesday be super wherever you are!

Mumof1sofar · 20/04/2015 17:45

Hope DS hasn't worn you out too much, pear & that's good you're going on the play date.
