Yes, we know all about how emotional and hard it can be! All the pros and cons, all about missing Aunty Flo's and wtf cycles with no ovulation, all about children being cute and pointy. No matter if you are five months or twenty months down the breastfeeding timeline, if you're ttc again, this is the thread to join! Welcome! Easter Smile

Mary - Aww that's lovely Smile

AF hasn't properly arrived yet. Where has she gone now Hmm

First morning of using CB pee pots and I'm utterly confused what to do!

MarysPrayer · 02/05/2015 21:00

I had a look in the MN Classics section last night, thinking I might find a funny thread to cheer me up a bit. Instead I read this thread and sobbed most of the way through. Such a moving story. Have a read (if you've got a spare hour and don't mind being in floods of tears)

Happy Birthday, Pear Flowers x

Well, glad it's not just me, and I do feel better now - I think I needed a bit of a release, and a good 5 min cry has done some good Blush all the frustration we try to suppress every month when faced with disappointment, and we keep smiling through and putting on a brave face, is bound to build up. I've done some ironing, all my packing, and DD is back from a lovely party she attended this afternoon (which is probably why I seized the opportunity to wallow Blush) and I feel back to normal x

I agree, Pear, it won't be all roses for them, and I wouldn't change my life - my little family, my home - for anything in this world (I've got my own version of the fairytale ending) Grin x but if I could add to it that'd be a bonus Wink x

MarysPrayer · 02/05/2015 20:41

Ava I can completely relate to how you're feeling about the royal baby. Like you I had dd before she had George. There seem to be baby announcements everywhere atm and I'm starting to feel Envy Sad Angry.

Ignore me everyone, had a bad day and I'm a moody-bum.

Sorry about AF pear

Having the worst AF cramps. Also have to tell ds that the top she brought me for my birthday is too big Hmm When I tried it on in the shop I thought it was a good size because it gave room for a bump. So silly of me Confused She won't be happy about exchanging it because it's probably too late now Hmm

peardrop2 · 02/05/2015 17:51

Thanks Ava. It's such a shock this month. I actually had hope. It's very hard for me not to be Envy of the Duchess right now. She has the fairytale ending but I'm sure it's not all roses. I wish them well. Lots of wine for me tonight. Annoyingly AF hasn't arrived in full yet...I'd like her to get on with it now so that I can start Wine She always tortures me! Happy Birthday to me Sad

AvaAmulet · 02/05/2015 17:00

Sorry to hear that Pear, sucks Sad

Can I confess something? Feeling irrationally negative since seeing the royal birth announcement all over ITV atm - I even got emotional about it - and not in my usual 'Oh, I'm so happy for them' when births are announced Blush Think it's either AF hormones, or the fact that I've been on this and previous boards, so blimmin' loooong she's had 2 since I had DD...I know she prob didn't breastfeed (or for as long) and might not have the bond and closeness to her DC's that we have (esp. if she's advertised for a night time nanny! Shock) but come on....

Right, ignore me, I'm going back to packing for my hols and will not watch the news all week....Wink x

Leamice · 02/05/2015 16:15

Sorry about AF pear Flowers

Ruby I'm still on my mega long cycle... Cd110+ I lost count, I honestly think my AF went away again after returning and may only be coming back now because I cut down to 1 feed a day. I'm not 100% I'm even ov now as had positive opks (super drug ones) just over a week ago but CB went to flashing smiley then...only turned to positive solid smiley thismorning... Either way I feel a hormonal shift so hopefully everything will be starting up again soon (it has to right?! Lol!). Obviously going to be DTD again tonight just incase I actually am OV. x

peardrop2 · 02/05/2015 14:14

I'm out. AF has arrived 2 days early. Don't know what to say really ?? I've text DH the news just because I can't handle telling him face to face. A very short LP. What is going on Hmm

Hi Ladies, how exciting about Kate going into labour, I was joking to Dh saying I wonder if she's hanging off the bed, Naked, swearing at William? or if its a rather more dignified affair? lol!

My CB pol test was positive today, although we'd been DTD EoD, we actually skipped yesterday as I was tired, typical eh?!

Mumof1sofar · 02/05/2015 08:24

Thanks pear. Washed them & no reaction so think I'll be fine. Did another opk & still low fertility atm.

How is everyone else doing?

Have you heard Kate M is in labour!

peardrop2 · 02/05/2015 06:45

Mumofone - I'm still on my 2ww. I think that toxic stuff would be harmful if digested but if you washed your hands after I think you'll be fine Wink

Mumof1sofar · 02/05/2015 06:10

No idea pear.

Anyone else doing the CB trial here? (Pear, I don't think you've started it yet?) The little wee pots are labelled 'toxic' & normally I pee in this great big plastic thing that fits on the toilet seat (they provided it!) then pour it into the pot. However this morning I realised I had put the plastic thing elsewhere so I just held the pot & pee'd in it, but quite a bit splashed my hand when it reached the top... Could I have got the toxic materials on my hand or am I just being silly? When I started the trial they warned me not to touch the inside of the containers.Confused

peardrop2 · 01/05/2015 17:21

Happy Friday!

Does anyone know where I can upload my graph that is not Fertility Friend? I'm desperate to show someone (even though I know that I said I would not over analyse...I know). Also, can I upload photos from my iPad or does that also not work?

Mumof1sofar · 01/05/2015 15:08

Mary, sorry af got you but I'm pleased your wtf cycle is over & done with. Onwards & upwards..

Thanks pear, great idea Smile

Did you know that Kate & Wills advertised for a maternity nurse this time around to do the nights, so I doubt she'll BF at all this time round. She couldn't if she doesn't see the baby at night..?

Fx for you, aux.

I remember eating while feeding dc at the same time! Can't wait until I have another little newborn to feed SmileSmileSmile

auxiliaryauroch · 01/05/2015 12:55

Hi all still on hols but phone connected en route to manor house history trip so am peeking in. And xposting with update. Looks like my soy foray indeed brought forward a positive opk by four days and ovulation by six days from cd25 to cd19. I am now 7 dpo and no AF yet which is an improvement on my five day LP for the last four cycles. I'm xf that I make it to 9dpo at least! That would be unbelievably awesome. Sorry for no comments on other posts right now. All Me me me. Will catch up next week when home again. Flowers

Oh yes, the constant hunger and thirst when you're ebf. I ate like a horse and still lost my baby weight. I had better be able to bf next time too! Trouble is, I'm still eating loads but only feeding dd once
a day Shock

peardrop2 · 01/05/2015 07:28

My CBFM is flashing m for AF. Wow after 6 cycles it still doesn't know me at all lol

peardrop2 · 30/04/2015 22:41

Oh Mary!! Hahhaha omg I forgot how you can't even eat with two hands ?? I remember buying myself a big plastic cup with a straw because of the ease of not having time to refill and only having one hand to drink! My DH went to work after 3 days because he runs his business...just wouldn't be able to happen next time!
