For those of us who prefer a bit of scenery along the way and can't keep up with the MEGA-BUS!

laura these are for you, you sound like such a lovely person. Have all my fingers crossed that you get your bfp in a week or so!!

thanks also to all the amazing ladies who make this bus so positive x

coffeenut · 11/04/2015 05:09

Please dont leave malibu and illiria or anyone else, we will miss you too much.

The nastiness on here is not fucking on. Please can we try to be nice to everyone on this thread (maybe if you dont like a post, just ignore it). You never really know what others go through & everyone on here needs support.

woodpigeon123 · 11/04/2015 03:14

Ooh, laurasdream, that would be amazing! Thank you for looking! xx

laurasdream · 11/04/2015 02:42

Just saying...

At the end of the day all that matters is that we get a BFP & we feel supported along the way. I thought that was what the buses were about. That's why I joined.

It really shouldn't matter how long it takes someone to get a BFP. We should all be happy when someone does. Don't we want people to be happy for us when we get our BFP? Of course we do!

I too felt uncomfortable.

Illiria · 11/04/2015 02:16

Yeah I'm out of here too. Been on the buses for around a year and pretty much since the bumsnet split I have personally felt uncomfortable by the vindictiveness of some posts. I used to only post a couple of times a week due to other forums that I helped on - non ttc related. If I had gotten my BFP then I know treacle and the others would have been supportive, now I'm not so sure I would get that. I had hoped that it would mean those that didn't want to encounter those who post sporadically then post a bfp could have their own space with clearly defined rules on the bumsnet series of threads but this has not happened and their rules have come to the monthly posts. I hope you all get your BFPs and have a healthy and happy pregnancy.

bellaboo88 · 11/04/2015 01:47

Sorry purdey if my awful spelling has offended you! If you could be as kind to check the stats list on the threads from this time last year you will see I'm on them :) I too love to check back for old friends who have supported me on my journey

Dozygirl · 11/04/2015 00:38

Sorry for the typos, typing too fast. I can spell so please don't also call me on that!

Dozygirl · 11/04/2015 00:37

Eek u guys. I used to be on the buses and this kind of dissing never happened. I wouldn't Normally post but do u not thunk someone who has struggled getting a bfp after 8 miscarriages is a positive post to say ooh look it can happen again after such heartbreak? That is not a lpd just coming on waving a bfp in your faces but someone who has been through struggles just like the rest of u and is sending u encouragement that it can happen.

I feel sad about the responses people get. I'm sorry to intrude like this And I wish u all.the luck.

Like someone said earlier, if they get a bfp then they want to stay on cheer people on and that is what quite a few of us still do to support the people we were on buses with so u will get people u might not recognise popping up but they shouldn't be made to feel uncomfortable about that.

Woolly84 · 10/04/2015 23:50

Agree purdie, I think all that's been asked for is some tact and sensitivity, it's a shame it's been misinterpreted.

Woolly84 · 10/04/2015 23:47

malibu I'm really sorry to see you go, but wish all the best for a speedy BFP lovely FlowersSmile we'll miss you xx

laura you're a girl after my own heart, I love the minions too, they're hilarious! Grin I love their cover of "I Swear" haha. Ah it must have been nice not to have to think too much about TTC with your DS! That's great you feel stronger for it though, I'm learning to relax about it a bit more, I'm a naturally stressy person so very prone to overthinking these things!!

purdiepie · 10/04/2015 23:43

I'll tell you what's snarky: a woman who has never been on these threads coming on only to post about her BFP. It is very poor form and shows an utter lack of tact. That is all any of us have wanted to get across. We are a mutually supportive network of women trying to get pregnant, that is all.

laurasdream · 10/04/2015 23:30

Woolly I love the minions! They make me smile! haha Grin I am a big child at heart You are so lucky you ovulate nice & early! Fx this is your month! When I conceived my DS I was 20 & didn't have a clue about cycles, other than if you didn't get your period then you were pregnant! I definitely never heard of OPK's or temping! Fx all this TTC malarkey will soon become a distant memory! Saying that I feel I have learnt a lot & I feel like I am a stronger, more understanding person Flowers! My DH may say otherwise Grin!!

Woolly84 · 10/04/2015 23:29

Oh malibu Sad

MalibuDaisy · 10/04/2015 23:24

Thanks to all the ladies who have been lovely/chatty/good fun on here.

I'm jumping off the buses now. I'll still be on the forums.

I started feeling uncomfortable the other day with the treatment Tallulah received. Some of it was downright snarky. The other lady who posted today might have been blunt, but she sort of had a point.

Last month I was new to the buses, found them hard to follow, and didn't have a clue about the general dislike for only posting a few times then putting up a BFP - had I been lucky enough to get one I'd possibly have done the same as Tallulah, and I'd have been absolutely gutted to read those sorts of responses.

I hope that I get to chat with you all on other posts x

Woolly84 · 10/04/2015 23:20

Haha I love the minion pics laura! Grin
I'm CD11 today, on my high fertility days so dtding a lot! I hope you get to 11dpo without AF and preferably with a BFP not long after!! Smile
Hope the wait isn't too bad, it's strange to think that there was a time I didn't think about cycles/ovulation etc before beginning TTC!

Woolly I am glad that you are feeling better! Nothing worse than stress at work! What cycle day are you? I am 6dpo today & I am just praying that I get to 11dpo without AF! A BFP would be a bonus of course & what I really want, but I just need my lp to behave in order for that to happen x

laurasdream · 10/04/2015 23:01

I feel too blessed to be stressed Grin, but I love hugs Grin

Laura xxx

Woolly84 · 10/04/2015 22:55

Hi laura! I'm good thanks lovely Smile feeling much better now, it was just one of those days! Yes hoping for a static tomo! How are you?

laurasdream · 10/04/2015 22:53

DizzyM I have it down to a fine art Grin hehe

DizzyMerry · 10/04/2015 22:50

Laura it's hilarious that you pretend to be asleep!!! I should try that but I think I'd end up giggling!

laurasdream · 10/04/2015 22:47

I was on previous buses with Treaclepie & I have to say she is a lovely kind lady.

laurasdream · 10/04/2015 22:42

DizzyM Sorry to hear you suffered from endometriosis, but I am glad you overcame that & went on to conceive your DD x Fx you won't have to wait as long to conceive again Flowers x

Sparkly Cd3 blood tests measure follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), Estradiol, Luteinizing Hormone & prolactin. My doctor also tested my thyroid levels because I had a low result previously, but it has been fine since.

Night How did you get on with your new thermometer! I hope you didn't wake your DH! I pretend I am asleep when I disturb my DH Grin hehe! He just nods back to sleep most of the time x I am going to start back temping! Ssshhh! Don't tell my DH! Grin I am sorry you have D...oh gosh I hope you feel better soon! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated Flowers You know what they say about a new house! New house New baby...more room to grow x

Coffee I hope you get a positive opk soon! Your DH sounds very supportive & he certainly has a proven plan of action! How is your holiday?

Woodpigeon I hope your cd21 blood tests are good! Smile. I have my DH SA results...I will have a look & see if there are any guidelines in them regarding what the normal parameters are.

Nicnak Congrats on the birth of your niece! How wonderful! Fx you catch that baby bug Grin! Tuesday won't be long coming! Fx you will get a BFP! I am going to hold out til Wednesday/11dpo if I get there! Last month AF arrived on 10dpo, so If I get to 11dpo that will be a miracle in itself! Star

Malibu I hope you had a wonderful dinner! I can't drink Wine! I like it but it doesn't like me Hmm Grin I am going to start back temping properly again if AF arrives, so we can all help each other! Smile

Southy I am sorry that you have such horrific period pains Sad! Take ponstan! I use them when I get really bad pain! In fact my DH knows I am in a lot of pain when he sees me taking one of them, as I prefer to be au naturel! hot water bottle You are supposed to get the blood tests on cd3...some doctors do them cd2/4, but the acupuncturist told me that it really should be done cd3. Perhaps you should contact your doctor & say it to them x

Woolly Fx you get a static Smile in the morning! Nothing worse than waiting...have fun catching that egg though! Grin I hope you are okay now! Sorry you had a horrible day at work Flowers

Carrott I have used Seven Seas trying for a baby. I take Ferrograd every day & it has never made me sick...iron tablets are quiet harsh on the stomach to I make sure to have eaten before I take them.

Tessie & Night I have my fx for the both of you!! Oh I really hope you both get a BFP!! When will ye POAS! You both must be so excited/nervous!

Mistletoe That is great that AF has stayed away! Will you POAS in the morning? You too must be so excited/nervous!

Yokyil EWCM is very stretchy, just like egg white really. My starts off a little stretchy & then becomes really stretchy on the day of ovulation...I get a dry flaky discharge after I ovulate & then my cm goes creamy again. If your DH has no sperm issues then DTD every day or every other day is fine. Every other day will allow the sperm more time to regenerate & mature.

Pinning I am sorry you had a chemical pregnancy. Sad Flowers I have only ever temped using the thermometer orally. I found FF annoying tbh & I used the Glow app instead. Evening primrose oil & drinking a lot of water really helped increase my amount of EWCM. Perhaps it is worth a try. Sperm can live in the vagina for several days, in fact I believe I read that it can live for up to 5 days! You are definitely in with a chance this cycle Smile
