All ages and age gaps welcome!

I'm 29, have a 16mo DS, TTC since periods came back in July 2014, had a mc in Jan.

Anyone else?

So sorry carrot had thought maybe we were both in for some kind of bfp following on from bfn miracle!!
No AF here yet but expecting it is just a matter of time wish she would just turn up now so I could get my head out of the shed and on with the next cycle.

CarrotPuff · 04/06/2015 11:49

Well the witch sneaked in overnight. I'm actually relieved. I really need a job before getting pg, I'm starting to realise this more than ever...

Pretty sure I'm oving today - getting ewcm. DH is working from home today so utilising DS's nap time as he has to go away overnight tonight for work.

I've been temping but I'm crap at doing it at the same time every day as I can't bring myself to set a wake up alarm. Some days I wake at 6, others 7.

RalucaMorena · 04/06/2015 10:48

After my last mc mt ov day was all over the place. Last month it was on cd16. I now bought 50 cheap opk and I tested today (cd7) and got a faint +. I assume I will ovulate within 48h so definitely dtd today. Will also keep testing for ov just to be sure.
Have any of you ladies tried maca powder? I would like to have a try but would be interested to hear some opinions.
Hope the good weather stays and brings sticky dust to all! :)

marmitemofo · 04/06/2015 10:28

Good luck Carrot and fingers crossed for all you ladies waiting on BFP this month! Since my AF was early and lighter than usual I was trying to convince myself that it could be heavier than "normal" IB but having to accept now that the witch is just early this month... ugh ugh ugh

mrsmugoo · 03/06/2015 20:39

Hello to all newbies - great to have some more faces in here after we've had so many graduates!

So sorry to hear about those who've suffered losses :(

Shocked to have got a solid smiley after only one flashing and on cd16 but really pleased too!

Planning to DTD tonight as never managed to yesterday - DH was in a late work call and I fell asleep waiting for him to come to bed :(

So we will do today and tomorrow and that will be it. But it's quality not quantity right?

CarrotPuff · 03/06/2015 20:13

Thanks Tfoot, I hope it was just too early. I keep telling myself not to put my hopes up, but it's all just so weird Confused

Welcome Raluca, sorry for your losses Flowers

Hi all!
In new here. I got pg last year unexpected but happy about it. Had a mc @9 week. Got pg again after first af abd had a mc @9 week again (was told no baby just sac). Now we're in month #3 if ttc. Would like to hear ideas about improving fertility. I'm almost 37 so a bit worried about my fertility.
Thanks for reading. Smile

Pixie2015 · 03/06/2015 16:29

Hi everyone - 1w into 2ww - boots had preg test on Bogof so have 4 early tests for not too bad price - going to try and hold off till Saturday if I can if friday doesn't crack me.

We need some BFPs soon fingers crossed

Tfoot75 · 03/06/2015 16:08

Sounds quite promising carrot. I poas when I thought AF was due when I got pregnant with DD (may have been a day early) and got BFN. Only got a very strong positive (could see + appearing immediately) a week later.

Determined to try not to symptom spot this time as when it was the real thing last time the early symptoms were not that noticeable apart from no AF!

I did have the runs around implantation though which I'm sure was related in hindsight!

ttcgy38 · 03/06/2015 15:36

Fingers crossed for you Carrot.

Raeside · 03/06/2015 15:21

Good luck Carrot!

CarrotPuff · 03/06/2015 13:43

Welcome nicely, sorry about your loss Flowers

Bobbin I always thought if you POAS a day or two early and have a bfn then this is it. And I did think that yesterday, fully expecting AF to show up later. I've never had such strong cramps without AF arriving the same evening or at least next morning. Yet, nothing. I don't know, maybe I ovulated much later than I thought. I just can't put my finger on those cramps, they were v strong, to the point me thinking maybe I should take some paracetamol, and I have fairly high pain threshold!

The last two times I only POASed when I was late. With DS I thought it was early, but in hindsight looking at scan dates, I was already late as I ovulated much earlier than I thought I did. So I have nothing to compare to...

I think my body is just broken after mc Confused

I'm still having a bit of runs and have that constantly full bladder feeling, although not actually peeing that much. Was feeling a bit spaced out and dizzy earlier, but not reading much into that, as just came back from a walk and it was hot outside.

I know all I need to do is wait. It's so hard though Confused

Advice please! This is an opk test and I know the instructions are usually pretty strict in saying it's not a positive unless both lines are as dark as one another, or test is darker. What do you think? This is about 4 mins post test.

woundbobbin · 03/06/2015 13:29

Ps welcome new people

woundbobbin · 03/06/2015 13:28

Can that happen carrot? Sorry to be an idiot but I had a bfn this morning (stupid me giving in to temptation) cd28 today but no AF keep having to remind myself every time I have a wee and no AF to not be happy because I got a bfn so not pregnant but your post has made me hope?

nicelyneurotic · 03/06/2015 12:46

Hello, can I join?

I'm 32 and ttc #2. Lost a pregnancy at 13 weeks a couple of months ago and am going to start trying again this month. Good luck to all!

CarrotPuff · 03/06/2015 12:37

DS still teething and was waking up a lot last night. But then he slept till 7, so it's not too bad...

CarrotPuff · 03/06/2015 12:26

Oh wow, so many newbies! Welcome!

After full on cramps on Monday I only had very mild ones last night. Still getting a few twinges today. Had my pre AF clearout but no AF yet... If she's still not here tomorrow I'll buy some stick and POAS again on Friday.

I'm ok thanks Carrotpuff & woundbobbin just very sore, still off work. Good luck for this month mrsmugoo! Welcome to Tfoot75 & ttcgy38*. I'm on cd23, still no symptoms to spot, won't be surprised when af shows at all.

marmitemofo · 03/06/2015 10:43

Hello all, long time lurker on MN here... can I join the party late? I'm 29, with an 18 month old DD, and was on implanon until April so have been out of touch with my cycle, though from memory it was always 27-30 days long. On my second cycle of TTC, first cycle AF came at day 30 but this cycle AF came 6 days early (day 24) last night! sad times. Feeling a bit demoralised at the moment... Sad

ttcgy38 · 03/06/2015 10:31

Hello, can I join?
Been TTC #2 for nearly 2 years. Dd is 5. We didnt want such a big age gap. Am quite advanced in age (so said my consultant) and started clomid for 1st cycle yesterday. No-one in RL knows we are even trying.

Tfoot75 · 03/06/2015 08:52

Hi can I join you? Stopped taking cerazette 2 weeks ago to ttc #2. Took 18 months with dd so not feeling too positive for anything to happen instantly! I feel like I've forgotten everything, haven't had AF since 2012 so dreading that!

mrsmugoo · 03/06/2015 07:11

Cd16 and solid smiley!!!

HopeintheAir · 02/06/2015 21:37

Sorry about the bfn carrot, hope you are okay.

FX for you woundbobbin. Hope AF stays away.

Think it is definitely worth going to the doc mrs, even if just for some reassurance.
