All ages and age gaps welcome!

I'm 29, have a 16mo DS, TTC since periods came back in July 2014, had a mc in Jan.

Anyone else?

See I've heard Ovia is rubbish. But then I'm really not the one to judge as I don't use any apps.

Your temperature stays below cover line before ovulation, and stays over it after that. Something like that. Then when your AF arrives it drops down again. But if the cover line is the bottom one then I see why the app said you ovulated on 14/15. Please ignore me then Grin AFAIK you need to temp for a few cycles for apps to recognise your pattern. And to learn yourself too obviously.

I've taken Paracetamol a few hours ago but it's not working Confused Drank plenty of water, ate salty food, just food and it's still here. If it stays all day don't think I'll be up to DTD tonight Confused I hate being ill.

Carrott - can you get your hands on some Paramol?

Raeside · 11/06/2015 14:56

Thanks Carrot - what's a cover line? It's Ovia which I use cause I got sick of FF penalising me by being shit unless I coughed up! Also it's my first month trying to take a daily temp.

I'd say going by opk sticks an CM that I'm pretty confident I ovulated day 14/15, and my boons have been killer since day 16 and that arrives a day or so after ovulation.

Argh! This whole thing is such a pain in the butt!!

CarrotPuff · 11/06/2015 14:54

Forgot to mention we had the first shag of the month in the bag. Thinking to pounce on DP tonight again as he's wearing a suit and I find that irresistible Wink I've got a cold though, which is not too bad in itself but I also have a horrendous headache that paracetamol isn't even touching Confused Might get some Ibuprofen soon...

LaPampa sorry about AF. I would count proper bleeding as CD1.

marmite personally I prefer shorter cycles when AF jumps on you unexpectedly... At least it takes away some of the torture of not knowing away...

mrsmugoo fx it's IB

Rae I'm sorry but your app looks a bit crap Grin Where is your cover line? If it's the upper one, I'd say you ovulated CD17 and not 14 as the app suggests. I've not heard of implantation dip, your temps can dip a bit before AF but if you are pg they should come back up again, but more likely you won't get a dip at all. But that's my non-expert knowledge.

(Btw ignore the yellow line on that chart, I don't think it's ever quite right....)

Raeside · 11/06/2015 14:21

I've literally no idea about charting but someone told me about a implantation dip. Could this be it?

It might also be cause I woke up cold this morning, I guess!

Yay MrsM, sounds promising! I never get spotting, things are either here or not here. Bleurgh.

marmitemofo · 11/06/2015 14:08

sounds promising mrsmugoo, keeping my fingers crossed for you that the spotting is IB Smile I really need to get hold of some opk until my cycle settles down. I'm quite happy BDing every other day haha but would be nice to know when an extra BD would help Grin

mrsmugoo · 11/06/2015 13:20

La pampa yes you always count CD1 as the first day of your period proper.

I'm CD24/ 7dpo and had a bit of brown spotting earlier which I never normally get, let alone a few days before AF is due.

LaPampa · 11/06/2015 12:17

marmitemofo I've been sporadically joining in :) I don't now know what day to start counting as CD1 and this period has now been going on for a week. I've now reached what was CD29, but I guess is actually CD7 of a new cycle? No idea when to start doing the OPK testing...

marmitemofo · 11/06/2015 11:22

cd10 here so gearing up for lots of BDing this week. been doing every other day past two cycles, think we'll do the same this cycle and if still no joy, think next month I'll get some opk to time things better, meant to this month but never got round to it. funny how the first two weeks go so quickly while the tww drags like a bitch!

keeping my fingers crossed for you Raluca

hi LaPampa don't think I've seen you on here since I joined the thread ð??? Smile early periods are the worst! since coming off the implant I've had one 30 day cycle and one 24 day cycle, ugh! no idea what's going on this month, I'm still new to tracking cm and not temping yet... I need to learn quickly I think!

trying to stay relaxed about this month. its hard. its only cycle #3 so I know its perfectly normal not to have conceived by now, just wish my periods were a bit more regular. can't help worrying there's something wrong Confused

RalucaMorena · 10/06/2015 13:37

Cd13 here and at it like rabbits. Dh hopes I get a bfp as he's knackered ?? not a opk + yet but let's keep supplies fresh, shall we? ??????

LaPampa · 10/06/2015 13:30

Hi ladies - sorry went a little quiet as have been away. I know only second cycle but I started bleeding on cd23, now on cd28 and still bleeding heavily with (tmi alert) lumps and clots still. A few cycles ago I went to GP as worried about the size and amount of clots and was brushed off with "well you have endometriosis, that is what is causing it" and sent away. As I wasn't expecting a period at all whilst I was away I hadn't taken anything with me. Wishful thinking!

Weird thing is, it came 7 days early and with an abnormal lack of pain (i.e every other period I've ever had has been painful) but longer than normal.

I'm getting paranoid something is wrong and I'll never conceive baby 2.

Boredworkingmum020 · 10/06/2015 08:33

Thanks for your replies. Hopefully all going to work. In first half of cycle now so drinking my green tea seemed to help Ewcm last month. Like the idea of lying about age Pixie2015. Mrsmugoo got pregnant with DS when I was 35 it's no age at all these days to have DC

mrsmugoo · 10/06/2015 07:13

Even if you started at 10 isn't the average about 12 or 13 anyway? I thought menopause usually started mid to late 40s?

I'm 35 though and I worry about the clock ticking too so I do sympathise!

Pixie2015 · 10/06/2015 07:07

time when period started unlikely to be an issue - biggest slow down is age - I keep lying about my age hoping it gives me a better change (late 30s).

Boredworkingmum020 · 09/06/2015 20:04

Just gone through 2nd month of ttv number 2 here. I'm 39 and worried if left it too late. Our three year old son was a surprise so first time for us going through the whole tww. I wanted to start trying last year but hubby wanted to wait. Now I'm worrying about worrying about ttc feel the clock is ticking. Started my periods when I was 10 so don't know if this means I'll have early menopause does any one know?

Pixie2015 · 09/06/2015 19:23

Hi all,

cd 27 - 4 wasted early tests / 2 standards - only symptoms are those of totally feeling normal and not pregnant!

On girly weekend next week so at least will have a good one. How slow can two weeks go! Hope everyone enjoying the sunshine xxxx

Tfoot75 · 09/06/2015 18:43

I've only just come off pill this month so not expecting anything to happen. Had ewcm at start of last week so that would put me at something like 7dpo if I did ov. Will see what happens next week and then start afresh!

marmitemofo · 09/06/2015 17:56

I know the feeling carrot... after AF came last week my DP gave me the 'relax and it will happen' speech.. aaaargh

mrsmugoo · 09/06/2015 16:34

Aww bless your DP carotpuff! Mine has been fully onboard with all the the nuts and bolts of TTC since the start including asking me if the smiley face has gone solid yet and did I remember to take my temperature on and not fuck up the chart again haha!

CarrotPuff · 09/06/2015 16:15

Torfhinn Wine

Raluca I've never used them but from what I've read - opks detect LH in your urine, which is always there, but it increases dramatically just before ovulation. So yes, it should always be two lines but it's only positive when test line is as dark as control.

Last day of AF me thinks. DP has brought up the TTC subject and said "we need to be at it morning, lunch and night" Grin This is the first time he's mentioned TTC - before he used to say "relax and it will happen" Angry

Congrats on coil removal indominable. I wish I'd gone for the coil after my DD was born instead of the implant.. my cycles have been wacky since it got removed in March - one heavy (normal) period, one normal ish period that was lighter than the first, and last weeks very light (two days!) period, feels like my fertility is going backwards! went to see the doctor and she said it was quite usual for cycles to be a bit funny after having the implant removed... um not what I was told when I had it put in Angry. I had the coil in before DD was born and conceived after two cycles so keeping my fingers crossed for you that it's quick!

sorry to hear the witch got you torfhinn, looks like it's Wine o'clock for the both of us

Raeside and mrsmugoo keeping my fingers crossed for you the 2ww doesn't go too slowly!

I think I'm going to start temping this month too but I have no idea what I'm doing.. do you just use a normal digital thermometer? anyone have any words of advice?

RalucaMorena · 09/06/2015 12:38

I had no idea rainbows are for ladies who had mc. I thought it's about the joy of having a baby.
Well then; I hope we all get our babies. Rainbow or not :)

RalucaMorena · 09/06/2015 12:36

I bought a tone of cheap opk (20 units) and since cd7 they have 2 lines (one is very faint ). Is this normal?
