Iv also got a period dairy app on my phone which is great its predicted my ovulation day right every time and is great for keeping track of my cycle I would recommend it for anyone TTC x

eliseb123 · 29/03/2015 23:18

Hey diamondsparkles
I'm new to this so don't no many of the shorthand my partner has been excellent through the MC never let my side as a chosen to do it natural at home took two weeks and as also been very good with me TTC again he's been trying to learn about my cycle and has been trying to just keep me calm and positive but as we all no men don't help us to conceive as much as they could I don't no what I should put in shorthand but I'm just about to ovulate tomorrow but we've both just got a feeling this cycle which we usually don't have so maybe this is the one never know so this cycle I will defo be doing a test in a few week if I'm late and hopefully get a BFP

Hello, I've just joined. Have a 5 year old son & been trying about a year. Had 21 day bloods taken that say I have low prostegerone & I am 38. Need some advice x

MillieMoodle · 29/03/2015 22:31

Hi all, can I join? I'm 31 and we're just starting month 3 of ttc #2. We've got a DS who has just turned 4. I'm on cd8. Will be using opks for the first time this month, as I'm not sure when/if I'm ovulating. Last 2 cycles have been 38 days (before that was on cerazette). I have also found the buses a bit busy, I can't seem to keep up! Smile

diamondsparkles · 29/03/2015 22:08

Hi elise!!
Welcome- so sorry to hear of you miscarriage- fingers crossed for your BFP soon, where are you in your cycle now? I think everyone here is in the TWW but I'm only at the start of my cycle - will be good to share together about what we're going through - the DH wouldn't understand about TWW etc etc so I need to talk to someone!!!

eliseb123 · 29/03/2015 20:05

Hey Ladies

CuppaSarah · 29/03/2015 20:00

Hi chasmac, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope your cycle gets back to normal as soon as possible.

diamondsparkles · 29/03/2015 19:56

Hi chasmac ! Welcome!
Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Have fingers crossed for you this month.
cuppa - nice to hear it's not just me who needs to be in control Grin

CarrotPuff · 29/03/2015 19:55

Welcome diamond, CarrotV and Chasmac!

I wouldn't say I'm that relaxed Grin I have quite addictive personality, so OPKs or charting would make me obsess too much I think. So I'm staying away. But yes, I agree - each to their own, whatever makes you feel more relaxed or in control.

How late you you CarrotV? Keeping everything crossed for you!

Sorry about your loss Chasmac, I didn't ovulate first cycle post mc, but it took me a while to get a bfn, maybe that's why.

Hello can I join you? I have a 4 year old son. TTC #2 currently on 4th cycle. Had a miscarriage this month but continuing into 2ww with fingers crossed!

CuppaSarah · 29/03/2015 19:15

Hiya carrot van! You're never out till AF pops in! Fingers crossed you get a bfp soon. Diamond I so need to feel in control too. Plus with irregular periods I need all the help I can get.

diamondsparkles · 29/03/2015 19:02

Thanks cuppa!! I do worry about my age so that's good to hear Smile
Yes I will let you know - the spotting has driven me mad - last month it started at 5 dpo so I knew I had no chance Sad
Yes totally agree with what you said about different things for different people too. I need to feel in control!
Hi carrot van! This is turning into a nice little group! Fingers crossed on a BFP then - how late are you?

CarrotVan · 29/03/2015 17:43

Hi fellow Carrot and others

I'm 35, trying for my second (have a boy who is nearly 2), in the first cycle at the moment awaiting my (late) period but testing negative, not charting/ temping/using opks etc. Just doing what comes naturally...

I conceived my boy in the second cycle and was totally relaxing but am a total stress monkey this time

CuppaSarah · 29/03/2015 17:23

Pfft 37 should be fine! I hear good things about vitamin b too! You must tell.me if it stops the spotting, my friend suffers with it too and it drives her mad.

Surely the relaxed approach means different things to different people though. If taking supplements and opks makes you feel in control and then that's just your relaxed approach. If over thinking it stresses you, just dtd is your relaxed approach!

diamondsparkles · 29/03/2015 17:07

Hi cuppa!
Yes I agree, the buses are too busy but it is nice to have company Grin
I've heard good things about soy so fingers crossed for you.
I'm trying B complex this cycle as I suffer from spotting before AF which was really getting me down. I've read that B helps so we'll see. Last cycle I spotted for 7 days before AF - not good!
I would love to try the relaxed approach but I can't as I am worried as there's been no luck so far and I'm 37 so worried about my age too Confused.

CuppaSarah · 29/03/2015 16:51

Hi diamond! It is really nice to have some company. I tried the buses, but they're so busy I don't feel I can give everyone proper replies and feel awful. Taking the more relaxed approach is a good idea carrot. My periods are super irregular so i get stressed about catching ov and delay it. I tried soy for the first time this cycle. I had some spotting a week ago and some ov pains which is new.

diamondsparkles · 29/03/2015 15:43

Hi cuppa and carrot!
Can I join you?
Got a 3yr old ds and have been ttc since June 2014. I'm on CD 7 so waiting til next weekend to ovulate. Been using the digital OPKs so know my cycle pretty well but nothing so far!
Would be nice to belong somewhere Smile, and have somebody to talk to Smile

CarrotPuff · 29/03/2015 15:17

Hi Cuppa!

I'm not using anything, just trying to DTD every 2-3 days. I think I've just ovulated too, so just entering 2ww. Going to wait till CD32 this time (if I get that far!) as last cycle was 30 days, which is quite unusual for me.

Hello carot! I'm 25 TTC number two since September. I have a 2yo dd who was a lovely surprise, so this TTC stuff is quite new to me. I'm charting and using opks and may have ovvulated yesterday so 2ww for me again. Whereabouts in your cycle are you?
