Sorry to hear that cuppa :(

Flashing smiley again today and DH off 5am tomorrow morning.

No noticeable CM, EW or otherwise here.

Avasmum8 · 08/04/2015 07:28

Ahh Cuppasarah hope your okay :( I know how it feels, my work is always so stressful! Fingers crossed u get to dtd today/night?! Xx

CuppaSarah · 08/04/2015 06:47

Well mrsmugoo it looks like I'm back in about to ov world with you. Had some pains around where I imagine my ovaries yo be. Took an opk last night, nearly positive. Took one this morning, darkest positive I have ever had, which means all my others have to be disregarded. Ewcm kicking in big time, temp has been dropping like a stone, so looks like I had a mild virus keeping it up the last week.

To top it all off we could I ng even DTD last night as I was so upset and stressed from a horrible work incident yesterday evening. Sad feeling very sorry for myself.

mrsmugoo · 07/04/2015 21:02

Basically we've got today and tomorrow only then that's it - I doubt we'll get a chance Saturday between his two trips but pretty sure it'll be too late by then anyway. Here's hoping!!

Anyway, after I got all upset he's now promised me he's going to be around 100%. He's even said he'll get fertility friend app on his phone and log in as me so he knows where we are in the cycle bless him Grin

CarrotPuff · 07/04/2015 20:17

Thanks Cuppa!

I went from thinking it's not going to be our month to feeling very hopeful. I just hope the witch stays away!

An early ov Mrs mugoo, either that of a late one so your dh is home in time.

CuppaSarah · 07/04/2015 16:17

Thanks guys! Still thinking it was a dye run not a line but never mind, I'll get there sooner or later. There was positive pregnancy test left in the toil;et at tesco today. Security tag still on the packaging. Really hit home and put things into perspective. I can't really put into words why or how, but I suddenly don't feel so desperate or upset about not being pregnant.

Also Yay MrsMugoo, best got to it! I'm really hoping you get an ov! But hopefully your dhs swimmers will be survivors and hang out for the egg.

CarrotPuff, that does sound pretty good. I'm hoping that's it for you.

CarrotPuff · 07/04/2015 13:35

Cuppa I can see a very faint line. I'm keeping everything crossed for you, and I think you're in for a shot Easter Smile

mrsmugoo swimmers survive up to 5 days, and you might ov later/earlier, so I wouldn't worry. Just as others said, make sure you DTD just before he leaves and right when he comes back.

Trying to distract myself from symptom spotting. But I was very tired yesterday during the day and was falling asleep on sofa. And had a dizzy spell today.

Good news Mrsmugoo! I have been very confused with mine this month - went from a blank circle to a fixed with no flashing ones first - and the fixed was 4 days earlier than last month Confused

mrsmugoo · 07/04/2015 07:35

Flashing smiley on the opk today Smile

CuppaSarah · 06/04/2015 13:24

I didn't have symptoms till 6 weeks with dd, so I don't mind not having any. I'm going to retest once AF is late, she's due in 5 days. So we'll see on Saturday. Still not convinced by this line!

diamondsparkles · 06/04/2015 13:11

Cuppa - that looks like a line to me! You don't always get symptoms- I didn't at all with ds. It's worth testing again in a couple of days.
Mrsmugoo, that's sad. I know what you're going through as dh works shifts and we've had to write off certain months because of it which is so frustrating. You never know though - if you dtd before he goes then as soon as he comes back you may be okay x

CuppaSarah · 06/04/2015 13:05

Sorry to hear about that mrsmugoo that's so frustrating, like throwing a month away. But you'll avoid a new years baby at least!

I don't have any symptoms, feel like AF will be here in 5 days like normal. I wish I didn't take the test apart and look at it after the time limit like a div. I'm going to wait and see if my period is late. I still think it must have been dye run, but fingers crossed!

Avasmum8 · 06/04/2015 12:45

Mrsmugoo that's a shame :( can u try to dtd in the morning before he goes or late at night the night before then as soon as he gets back too?

Cuppasarah I can see a line?! I reckon u are pregnant! Congratulations :) try anther one in a few days maybe get a frer, was that with your FMU? Have u got any symptoms? Xx

mrsmugoo · 06/04/2015 10:29

Feeling a bit sad today as I think my DH is going to have to go away for 2 days right on our fertile days :(

He's going away next Sunday for a week but now he's having to go away Thursday and Friday too. That will almost certainly mean nothing this month :(

CuppaSarah · 06/04/2015 10:25

Sad looking at the test again I think it was just dye run. There's a totally white line on the right hand side of the line, which I think is where the line is meant to be. It's a perfect pink line too, even the same width as the control line. But it's deffo not quite right, it's faded a bit now, but the white patch is clearer than ever. It's going in the bin and I am channeling my inner CarrotPuff self control from now on.

CuppaSarah · 06/04/2015 09:14

Can you guys see anything? Is it worth getting a frer over this? I think I might just have line eyes.

Carrotpuff, you sound just like the tiny rational part of my brain. The tiny part I always listen to but ignore each time Easter Grin. But in my defence it was dhs birthday today and I was hoping to surprise myself him.

PattyODoors · 05/04/2015 21:47

Carrotpuff you are the voice of reason I wish I'd had at 6.30am this morning! I'm more cross that I wasted the test if anything lol!

Welcome indo [gtin]

CarrotPuff · 05/04/2015 21:25

Hi ladies,

Busy weekend, lots to catch up!

Congrats Ava! Our first BFP, yay!

I'm keeping everything crossed for you Cuppa!

Welcome wonder! Children at that age usually adore babies, I hope your DS gets excited once you get your bean on the way! You'll also have your DS in school, so you'll have that precious time with newborn almost like the first time around. Lovely!

Welcome indo, of course you can lurk and join in conversations. Will you be getting a better Mat pay?

Sorry surfer AF got you. Enjoy Wine and chocolate!

Patty you're not out till AF shows her ugly face. But...

I'm going to be the Rational Voice of This Thread

DO NOT TEST EARLY

If you get a bfn at 10dpo or w/e, you are still non the wiser, you still hope maybe it's too early, get your hopes up, symptom spot, etc. etc. etc. and then BOOM - AF arrives in all her glory and you are feeling down and disappointed.

Wait till AF is late. Test the next morning. Ideally 2-3 days later. Sometimes they just like to mess with us.

If you are actually pg, you will not become less pg if you get that bfp a few days later. If anything, a lot about pg is waiting. Waiting for a bfp. Waiting for a scan. Waiting for labour to start. To finish... Patience is your best weapon Wink

OK, lecture over, smart pants off, happy Easter everyone Easter Grin
