FX for you Torfhinn - I'm CD23 today too! AF due on Thursday and usually bang on time so won't be testing before hand.

Sorry about the spotting waiting Sad.

Hope everyone enjoys the long weekend.

waitingforwombat · 02/05/2015 13:47

Sad spotting today, so looks like Im out....

mrsmugoo · 02/05/2015 10:17

Bloody opk messed up this morning so never actually got a result. Yesterday's stick was still in and I peed on today's before the circle had cleared off the screen. So basically my fault but at 6:30am when you're half asleep and bursting for the loo...

woundbobbin · 02/05/2015 09:30

No not Matilda we were going to use that if we had another dd saying that Alys is on the list as well maybe I have more in common with k middy that I thought obviously I'm tall very slim and have lovely hair (hahaGrin) TWW here although who knows if I even ovulated nice weekends to all

Pixie2015 · 02/05/2015 09:30

Thinking daughter Victoria - 7IlB 3

Queazy · 02/05/2015 08:34

I predict a daughter called Alice Smile

DianaOstara · 02/05/2015 08:07

torfhinn everything crossed for you lovely :).

wombat its crazy how slowly 2ww passes and yet this 2 week's before passes so quickly. I'm CD10 here so should be starting to dtd but I've come down with a horrible lurgy and not feeling it at all - now I want time to slow down til I'm better!

Did I hear the rumour mill correctly that KMiddy has gone into labour - eek! I predict a girl called Matilda Phillipa Grin

waitingforwombat · 02/05/2015 06:53

argh why does time go so sloooooowly in 2ww?! I'm day 8 po, and hoping to hold off till day 15 - anyone else poas next Saturday? I need a buddy to keep me from wasting tests!

mrsmugoo · 01/05/2015 22:47

Oh god, my DH has said let's throw the kitchen sink at getting pregnant asap! He's fully on board with the opks. I think he just wants to get crazy broody woman then crazy breastfeeding/sleep deprived hormonal mess woman out of the way as fast as possible!!

Torfhinn · 01/05/2015 19:08

*pleased!

and *slightly!

So tired Smile

Torfhinn · 01/05/2015 19:06

Welcome Mary and Wombat

Congratulations Carrot, so please for you!

I'm madly symptom spotting (CD22), right in the middle of the TWW, based on my shortest cycle, AF could be due next Wednesday, longest cycle, a week Sunday! No symptoms thought except still spotting - since Sunday. Literally have no idea.

I'd kinda like to use the OPK's, but I think DH would be slight Hmm to crack them out so soon. We agreed if TTC takes more than 6 months, then to try...

CarrotVan · 01/05/2015 18:29

Birdbrain - it's here uk.clearblue.com/survey

You fill that out, they call you with more questions within a couple of weeks then if you're eligible and want to go ahead then they send you a consent pack and then a big box of stuff and instructions for your next cycle

Pixie2015 · 01/05/2015 16:56

Hi now CD15 and have enjoyed first cycle with ovulation sticks very exciting to see a test with 2 lines on (ignoring shade of lines) !!!! Apart from the day I got mixed up and wasted the insert of a digital preg test!

have a lovely fertile weekend everyone xxxxx

birdbrain21 · 01/05/2015 11:53

Ooh carrotvan that sounds interesting that way you get the fun of testing without paying. How do you find out more details?

CarrotPuff · 01/05/2015 11:39

Ooh congrats CarrotVan! I hope it's another Carrot's turn now Wink

We are in the midst of night wakings too. DS cutting molars. 5.40 start today as well. I'm slightly zombified Confused

Those of you thinking about using opks - did you know Clear Blue are running a research trial where they send you ovulation stuff and pregnancy tests and you send them urine samples and fill out diaries?

mrsmugoo · 01/05/2015 07:33

Morning all. Just done my first opk on cd10 and it's a circle.

DS is almost 14 months now. Since 8 months he's been a great sleeper! This morning he's back to sleeping through - I've no idea why he woke crying yesterday my only hunches are a) he was cold b) a noise outside disturbed him so last night I fully shut his window and dressed him in a slightly thicker sleep suit.

HopeintheAir · 30/04/2015 21:37

Congrats carrotvan!

Fingers crossed for good nights' sleep for all of us. Just had to spend 20 mins comforting DD - think maybe a bad dream? Have just collapsed into bed myself - love an early night Grin

MarysPrayer · 30/04/2015 21:09

Thanks for the welcome Smile

Sympathies mrsmugoo We're going through a sleep regression/ separation anxiety/ teething bout atm. How old is your ds?

mrsmugoo · 30/04/2015 21:02

Haha no such luck, just hoping he sleeps alright tonight really.

I'm day 9, gonna start on the opks tomorrow and get on with the shagging!

DianaOstara · 30/04/2015 21:00

mrs hope you've caught up on sleep :). Where are you in cycle now?

DianaOstara · 30/04/2015 20:58

Congratulations carrotvan that's lovely news! Try to rest as much as possible (ipad bribery if needs must!)

wombat welcome :). I've been trying to stay relaxed (only on CD 7 here) but today I've had the most intense period type cramps in my back - ive been symptom spotting over a week before the two week wait!!!

carrotpuff I'm not doing kits or anything this month either - also partly because it could end up costing a fortune!

Chatted to a friend at work today about her ongoing fertility treatment. I really do count my blessings for my lovely dd. She's been so adorable this evening bringing me blankets and teddies to make me feel better whilst I lay on the sofa. Really want another one but thank goodness I am lucky enough not to have felt the heartache of struggling for baby number one.

waitingforwombat · 30/04/2015 19:49

Hi all, I've been lurking for a bit, trying to be totally cool about TTC, but in reality symptom spotting and going crazy in 2ww with best of you so thought I should just join in!!

I'm 30, Dd 20 months, currently cycle 5 TTC #2. Conceived dd first month and finding it hard to be patient this time. Day 6 po and had another temperature spike, but trying not to get too excited too early.

CarrotVan · 30/04/2015 18:46

I posted at the start of this thread but have been away and crazy busy - same as with #1 I've conceived on my second cycle. EDD 4th Jan so I guess I'll see quite a few of you on the antenatal threads. With a very active 2 yo I'm really not sure how I'm going to manage - I'm already knackered

The very best of luck to everyone who is still waiting.

CarrotPuff · 30/04/2015 14:36

Welcome Rae!

Hi Marys! This is exactly the reason I decided to start this thread - so many people TTC for their first and probably think "Oh at least you have a DC".

bird I'm not doing any kits, don't worry about it. Ultimately the only way to conceive is have sex, all the kits do is tell you when to do that, but if you shag every 2-3 days, you will get there eventually. It's also much cheaper this way Wink

Diana I'm not going to tell you how much crap I ate over the last week, it's ridiculous. Ditto caffeine...

char I'm not an expert, but I believe the high on opk means you will be ovulating in the nearest 24-48 hours, so you still might have your 28 day cycle.
