Cd16 and still flashing smiley :(

Am starting to really worry about short luteal phase now :(

Can the opks be wrong about your peak fertility? Could I have missed ov?

Anyone on here do temping? I'm thinking of using it to confirm what the opks say but think my sleeping is a bit too erratic?

birdbrain21 · 06/05/2015 23:14

Congrats to any new bfps.
I spoke to clear blue today about the trial, thanks to whoever it was that posted about it. Sounds really interesting, they're going to send me a proper form to fill out to take part in it. They send you one of their ovulation kits and you have to do a urine sample every day and keep a diary then send them the results every 12 days for a month, if you fall pregnant during that cycle they ask that you continue doing the samples and they'll send you ££ gift vouchers and if you don't get pg on that cycle they'll send you free products. Now I'm not sure do I want to get pg before the stuff even comes, do I want free stuff or am I happy to go through another cycle and get gift vouchers. I guess we'll have to wait two weeks and see what's happening!!!
(info is on the website if anyone wants to get in touch with them as well)

Congrats wombat what brilliant news!
Sorry the stupid AF got you hope bring on the June cycle.
When I picked dd up after work today my DM said I looked awful and did I think I could be pregnant! Shock In truth I've had a shit day at work and don't believe I can be pregnant as don't think I ovulated this month. I will not consider using my emergency superdrug cheapy tests till Monday repeat I will not test till Monday! Grin

Torfhinn · 06/05/2015 21:18

...a dangerous thing to have in your cupboard when ttc!

Torfhinn · 06/05/2015 21:18

diana it's a first response early result (frer) pregnancy test, supposedly accurate for early results Smile

DianaOstara · 06/05/2015 20:28

Ah hope sorry AF arrived. Good idea for Wine plan some treats over the coming days and get yourself gee'd up for June :)

What is a FRER?

Torfhinn · 06/05/2015 19:45

(and I've got a FRER stashed away in the cupboard! Grin)

Torfhinn · 06/05/2015 19:43

Welcome Soundsystem!

Congratulations Wombat Grin

Sorry to hear AF got you Hope, stay positive for next month and enjoy the wine Flowers

Welcome back Ava, glad you had a nice break, good luck with persuading the OH about the scan, I'm sure it will give you lots of comfort.

I've been feeling mildly nauseous today and last night, I'm worried it's all in my head but soooo tempted to test tomorrow....

Avasmum8 · 06/05/2015 16:02

Congratulations wombat!!

Sorry AF got you hope :(

Holiday was great thanks Char Except England is feeling very cold now.. Yeah it is worrying, hope u get your BFP soon! I just need to convince DH about a private scan now he doesn't think it will be worth it but I think I can persuade him :)

CarrotPuff · 06/05/2015 15:48

High-5 wombat :)

mrsmugoo · 06/05/2015 12:37

Another BFP! Congrats!

I bought testing strips from Asda today...naughty I know.

DH back this evening and and still on the flashing smilies so the shagathon continues.

I will start collating the stats now

HopeintheAir · 06/05/2015 11:55

Congrats waiting! Lovely news Smile. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.

AF arrived today so I am feeling rubbish but keen to move on with next month. Wine this evening may help a little.

CharChar2015 · 06/05/2015 08:59

Totally get where your coming from avasmum - I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks and I know if / when I get my BFP I'm going to be a nervous wreck until my 12 week scan. Paying private could be an option to put your mind at rest? Hope your holiday was good?

I'm 4 dpo and time really is going super slowly!! Going to test 14 dpo (if I can wait that long!!) which is only cd25 as I ov'd so early this month! Hope I can wait until then! It's Friday 15th Hmm

waitingforwombat · 06/05/2015 08:21

so it looks like my spotting might have been an implantation bleed. day 12 po and a vvv faint bfp!!

PattyODoors · 05/05/2015 21:39

Evening all, my stats are

Age 38 just!
TTC#2 2nd cycle
DD 4.5

I'm about 9dpo and having mild cramps, have felt quite nauseous at times today too, and going from ok to suddenly starving in seconds, that was one of my first symptoms last time. AF due around 12th, this is going to be a long week!

Avasmum8 · 05/05/2015 20:35

I think that is enough days dtd, sperm can survive so many days anyway so deff think you've got yourself covered :)

Unfortunately I work on delivery suite and no one knows yet so no real chance of getting scanned there but.. I didn't think about a private scan! I will look into that thanks! X

DianaOstara · 05/05/2015 20:29

Is there any way to give yourself a scan whilst at work ava ;). This must be a really anxious week for you but do stay positive and relaxed - how about a private scan? I had one at 10 weeks with dd as had just started a new job and worried that I wouldn't get time off for official 12 week scan. I did have 12 weeks can afterall and it was amazing how much the baby had changed in those few weeks!

I'm desperately trying to be laid-back this month. No OPKs, dtd every other day rather than every day, waiting til closer to my expected ovulation day rather than dtd every day in the week before. Plan to dtd Thursday (CD15), Saturday, Monday (CD19 and I think ovulation day), Wednesday and another for luck on Thursday. Trouble is I'm already wondering 'is this enough'? I know it only takes one sperm but it's like I'm hard-wired to believe that the more effort I put in then the more deserving I am to be rewarded!

diamondsparkles · 05/05/2015 20:18

Hi mrsmugoo - can you add me to the stats too please?
Age 37
Ttc #2 on cycle 10
Ds is 3
Currently on cd20 but don't think I've ovulated this month Sad

Avasmum8 · 05/05/2015 20:12

Evening ladies :) I'm back from my hols and think I have caught up with all the convo.

Congrats to Tango and Carrotvan on the pregnancies! There are quite a few of us now, fingers crossed for those of you in the 2WW.

I am feeling so anxious, I am only 7 weeks and 5 days but really want a scan to check everything is going okay due to my missed miscarriage at 8 weeks last year. Although, I know they don't do 'reassurance' scans and I can't play as if I don't know much because I'm a midwife myself and know some of the EPAC midwives, I just don't want to get to 12 weeks and have another mmc, I've not had any bleeding or anything, maybe I just need to try to relax a bit more?!

HopeintheAir · 05/05/2015 17:44

This ttc thing is so bloody hard!

HopeintheAir · 05/05/2015 17:43

I'm not sure I'm going to get to the testing stage - I think I saw a tiny bit of pink this afternoon so I think it's bad news. I did have to squint so it's possible I'm mistaken but I have a bad feeling. If I do test, it'll be on Friday - cd29.

FX for you!

Torfhinn · 05/05/2015 15:19

Actually Sunday is CD 31. Sooo can't concentrate today... another symptom obviously Confused

Torfhinn · 05/05/2015 15:18

Had some more spotting so not sure if more of the same or gearing up for AF Hmm

Torfhinn · 05/05/2015 15:17

Gonna try and hold off testing until Sunday (CD30) Hope. You?
