DianaOstara · 11/05/2015 18:49

And me....! 32, cycle 4, dd aged 3.

I'm starting to feel the 2ww stresses already and we haven't even finished dtd - still got a few scheduled in for this week although as I havent opkd this month I'm not entirely sure they're well timed!

I had a little cuddle with friend's newborn yesterday !

HopeintheAir · 11/05/2015 18:10

Thanks for the stats mrs!

So, there's been a change of policy for this monto - no opks, no temping, no apps - just lots of shagging and the odd glass of wine when I feel like it! Grin

mrsmugoo · 11/05/2015 16:02

I'm not hung up on them insofar as I've had quite different results in the 3 months I've been giving them a shot (peak on CDs 14, 16 and 19 variously) but I've been using the same base the whole time so it should be at least showing flashy smiley by now.

Either way safety shags over the weekend were had but it'd be useful to have an idea when I needed to saddle up once or twice this week too! I don't really get any other physical signs of ovulation ....

CarrotPuff · 11/05/2015 08:41

Anyone not getting anything on opks - don't get too hung up on them. From what I've seen on these boards, for some people they just don't work. Just get shagging Wink

Avasmum that is wonderful news, congrats Flowers I hope it's plain sailing till the birth.

Mrsmugoo tummy bugs are horrible, I hope your DS is over it soon.

Oh no Diana, was there a lot of blood? I would check with GP if you're worried. And thank you for your nice words earlier :)

Patty any news?

I'll try not to count any cycle days or DPOs (won't even look at loo paper for EWCM although I'll probably still feel it), although if I have painful sex I'll know I'm ovulating, and I'll still now roughly when AF is due, but will try my best to ignore all that. Wish me luck Grin

AF still here and I'm feeling horny Confused Just want to start shagging, bugger off witch!

Raeside · 11/05/2015 08:10

CD15 and still getting just the circle on the OPK.

Quite confused now. PROBABLY MENOPAUSE OH GOD!

CharChar2015 · 11/05/2015 02:40

Congratulations avasmum that's really great news - you must be thrilled :)

Torfhinn · 10/05/2015 19:33

Mrsmugoo, not ugoo!

Torfhinn · 10/05/2015 19:33

Glad the LO is on the mend Mrsugoo!

diana I have no idea about the bright red blood! Hope it's not alarming you too much. Our bodies are weird things Hmm

I did indeed enjoy the wine, planning to have some more tonight Grin CD 31 at the moment, I tested again this morning on an IC just to make sure using FMU, and still negative so I'm sure AF will be here very soon. Not planning on testing again unless AF doesn't arrive in the next few days. Cycles have been 25-31 days long, I think I've been stressing a bit this month as it's cycle #1 and that may have put me all out of sync. So here's to chilling out for cycle #2! Wine

DianaOstara · 10/05/2015 09:30

torfhinn hope you enjoyed the wine! I think an important part of staying relaxed about ttc is not putting our lives on hold for it. What CD are you? When will you test again? Interested to hear anything you find out about the spotting.

Mrs are you feeling refreshed after your early night? Hope you weren't up too much with ds!

Oh patty these damn symptoms - they are sent to taunt us.

Rae I'm not sure if I do feel more up for it around ov but me and dh are taking our upsurge in dtd more generally as a positive of ttc!

I wore a pad overnight and no bleeding but there was blood when I wiped this morning. We're still going to carry on as planned this month even though this doesn't feel like a good sign.

mrsmugoo · 09/05/2015 21:41

Yes my little one is on the mend I think. No puke today and only one poo leakage so much better than yesterday!
I'm getting an early night now - night!

DianaOstara · 09/05/2015 21:34

CD17. Dtd earlier. Had a load of bright red blood straight after Shock What does it MEAN?!!!???

Torfhinn · 09/05/2015 21:11

HI all, welcome Blue!

So pleased for you Ava, here's to a happy and healthy, uneventful pregnancy Grin

Hope your son is feeling better Mrsmugoo... outfit changes for poo reasons always spells a bad day Shock Fx for this month for you!

Tnaks you for your advice Mary about the spotting. Interestingly, I used to get 5-7 days of spotting before my period, but conceived my son on cycle 2, so never thought anything of it. Since my periods came back nearly a year ago, I've had no pre-period spotting at all. That's why this month is so strange. But if it keeps happening, at least now i have an avenue of research Smile

No AF yet for me but I've had a pretty tough couple of days at work and was desperate for a glass of wine, so tested just in case. Don't get excited... BFN here (as expected). So I opened the bottle! Grin (silver lining and all that!)

mrsmugoo · 09/05/2015 14:15

I'm cd18, pretty sure I've ov'd or am literally just about to as solid smiley and a tonne of EWCM. I never feel anymore horny around ov than any other time of the month I don't think?

Nap time safety shag for us Wink

Raeside · 09/05/2015 08:37

Hi all.

Congrats on the bfps coming thick and fast! Nice work!

I'm a bit confused - CD13 for me and still a circle on the OPK. My cycles tend to be between 28-31 days and I'm not feeling any of the usual, well, desire (!!) to get jiggy that usually occurs around ovulation. Do you generally feel the same whether you ovulate or not?

PattyODoors · 09/05/2015 08:28

Fingers crossed for you mrsmugoo!

I'm out I think, lots of brown blood this morning, I normally spot for 2 days before my period. Yet I still feel so incredibly sick! Think I must have a bug.

mrsmugoo · 09/05/2015 06:43

Congrats Avasmum that's wonderful news x

mrsmugoo · 09/05/2015 06:42

DTD last night and solid smiley this morning. Now praying for a miracle.

Hello 2ww.

PattyODoors · 09/05/2015 02:06

Aww that's fantastic news Avasmum I'm about 12/13 dpo and desperately trying to hold off testing this weekend!

Avasmum8 · 08/05/2015 23:18

Evening ladies, only just getting a chance to write on here had a super busy (but leisurely) day! Had a scan today and I'm measuring 8 weeks and 3 days! So it has brought my provisional date forward a few days although that could change again at the next one. Me and DH feel so much happier now, it was so lovely to see the little baby and be told everything looks good, and see the heart beat :) feels an achievement to make it past 8 weeks this time, can't wait for the next scan now!

Hope you have all have a good day, anyone in the 2ww going to test soon??

mrsmugoo · 08/05/2015 21:14

Thanks for the reassurance re: OPKs. I've only got 2 sticks left and I don't think I'll repurchase. I'm going to do temping and DTD every other day if I'm still here next month.

PattyODoors · 08/05/2015 21:12

Diana nothing much planned just a 4.5 yr old to distract me! And only one test in the house too, determined not to use it as its a frer, too expensive to waste!

Hope2014 · 08/05/2015 20:07

Have stayed off MN for a couple months after getting a bit too analytical over it all (and when the bus got scary!). TTC#2, cycle 7. Just popped in (broke my own rule) and thought I could add to earlier conversation about OPKs...when we conceived DD1 I tested days 11-22 (I used to have ridiculously variable cycles) and didn't get a smiley face at all. Assumed I hadn't ovulated and sulked for a couple of weeks and then sulked for a further week of period pains. Then got the BFP. Weird. So OPKs - don't get too obsessed with them, I think now maybe just DTD regularly is the way to go. Good luck everyone xx
