Looking for a Mum-to-be to buddy up! I'm TTC number 1 and not had any luck so far, having a couple of months off before we start trying again. x

Can I join in too? Ttc #1 been trying a couple of months so far
Am extremely impatient and a natural worrier so really hope it happens soon!
Have endometriosis so pretty nervous about it all working out!

Issie339 · 31/03/2015 22:04

Haha, I'm already an expert on double buggies, can't stop browsing!

nickynackynoo31 · 31/03/2015 21:47

I'm so impatient lol...I had coil removed on Thursday and have spent since then looking at baby things, prams the lot....I'm doing nothing but thinking about babies I'm going crazy lol xx

Issie339 · 31/03/2015 21:13

Hi babygiraffe, sorry to hear about your mmc, I can understand why you're a bit scared this time around.

Brooke and Nicky, hopefully we'll all barely have to use those opks and will be pregnant in no time :)

Sophiabella, oh my goodness I am sooo impatient!! Also hate that it feels a bit of a lottery and out of my control- gahh!

sophiabella · 31/03/2015 19:39

Hehe I'm with you there, I did't realise I was so impatient until now!! I suppose it maks it all the more special doesn't it? If we could all get pregnant right away it wouldn't be as exciting... annoying still though!!!

Hi ladies - i'm in if you'll let me. This packet of pills is to be my last, had unplanned preg then mmc 2 years ago so terrified a little bit , but in 3 weeks will be actively on our way towards mini Me or Mr :-)

nickynackynoo31 · 31/03/2015 19:15

I'm similar to. never taken much notice and conceived #2 within 7 weeks..I've bought some opik tests and I haven't a clue when to even start testing with them as it's all new to me Shock x

Brooke113 · 31/03/2015 18:24

I've never really taken much notice of my cycle either Issie, until I want to ttc lol I've never temped or used OPKs, #1 and #2 were conceived with ease, #3 might take some more work, we're both older now...:)

Issie339 · 31/03/2015 18:02

Hi Brooke and Nicky. Both trying to conceive no3, how lovely, 3 is my ideal no of children but let's see how we get on with having no2 first.

Gosh I had no idea what my cycle was at all until recently- was on the pill for over 10 years, got pregnant with no1 within 3 months of coming off pill and have taken absolutely no notice of my cycle since then. That's why I decided to do opks when we started trying for no2 in December. Have been tracking it since then and turns out I'm regular as clockwork with ovulating and AF which is handy- how you can get to my age and be this clueless I have no idea!! Lols

CuppaSarah, that all sounds so confusing, I've never looked in to temping, it blows my mind just thinking about it!!

nickynackynoo31 · 31/03/2015 17:22

Hi Brooke113
I haven't a clue at all when I will ovulate as had no AF whilst I had coil in and it's only been out 5 days...its so hard not knowing when it will be...they say good things come to those who wait lol...its just don't like waiting!! Grin x

Brooke113 · 31/03/2015 17:14

Hi ladies, can I join too please. Newbie here, ttc #3, 2nd cycle here, haven't ov'd yet this cycle, currently cd8. :)

nickynackynoo31 · 31/03/2015 14:06

Hi
May I join you?? Ttc #3. Just had mirena coil removed on Thursday 26/3/2015. Started bleeding Friday and still am so not sure if it's withdrawl bleed or AF? ??? Hoping it's AF then will have some idea of what's going on lol. Any advice welcome xx

sophiabella · 31/03/2015 13:29

Cuppasarah, are your cycles irregular? Mine are usually OK, usually 28 days exact but for the first time in ages last month it was only 25 days so that's thrown me! I'm hoping to just work off dtd regularly between day 9-14 will work for us. It's hard though.

My OH is not good today and my boss has Okayed me having teh day off to be around for him and I've spent the majority of the day thinking about babies and planning it all!!

I think DH and I are going to start ttc after the summer! I've already got an app for my cycle as I wanted to keep track of periods etc after coming off the pill, but other than that I inagine we'll just take the "not being careful" approach, if I make it too scientific I know it'll stress me out!

Anyone else taking this approach?

CuppaSarah · 31/03/2015 07:07

I am really envying those of you who don't opk or temp right now. Since my temp rise hasn't been convincing I took an opk and it's only just negative. If I weren't properly squinting in would have said positive. My morning ones are always a bit weak though. It's like estrogen and progesterone are having a grudge match in my uterusa I swear. Better get back onto DTD!!

CuppaSarah · 31/03/2015 06:27

Finding an approach that works for you is really important. There's no point temping or using opks if you're confident about when you ovulate or if its going to stress you out.

My temps are being rubbish, totally up and down. In was fairly confident I ovulated, but today's temp was low again. Ohwell I'll keep using opks at least we won't have to worry about a Christmas baby if ovulation is delayed.

StellaAlpina · 30/03/2015 23:47

I don't think I'm going to do any temperature taking etc. I would only forget to do it half the time. I'm taking folic acid but that's the only preparation I'm doing.

firsttimenewbie · 30/03/2015 22:23

Sounds awful but I feel exhausted just thinking about all the 'trying' we are going to have to do!! Haha! OH on the other hand cant wait!

CuppaSarah · 30/03/2015 20:26

Oh god I know what you mean. Watching I didn't know I was pregnant now, how can some people go through pregnancy so clueless yet others can't even ovulate without knowing about it!

sophiabella · 30/03/2015 19:32

I was saying this to my friend the other day! And how is it that some people get pregnant whilst on the pill and on a one night stand and others take years and years with loads of precision, tests, giving up alcohol etc etc?!

Hi rose! Lovely to have another member onboard! I bave done enough manic googling to have quite a good bit of knowledge about some bits of ttc.

I hope you're right issie with the amount of people we have we are bound to get at the very least one bfp if not lots more Grin. E11chick you are so patient, I would not be able to wait. I want to test tomorrow at 3dpo.

Issie339 · 30/03/2015 18:50

Hi Rose85, welcome!

Issie339 · 30/03/2015 18:49

CuppaSarah- haha, I think you've def got it covered! Now the 2ww eek! Fingers crossed for you, I have a feeling this is going to be a lucky thread and there are going to be lots of bfps
