Looking for a Mum-to-be to buddy up! I'm TTC number 1 and not had any luck so far, having a couple of months off before we start trying again. x

Issie339 · 20/04/2015 10:48

Hi Brooke

Yeh I'm ok, at work today which I think is easier than being at home and in that 'mummy' lifestyle/mind-set- a lot of my friends are pregnant with no2 now so it can be hard being around that all the time. But at work I'm like a whole different person who isn't as bothered about not being pregnant Smile the tough business woman! Lols.

How are you today?

sparklesandfizz · 20/04/2015 10:41

Ouch maybe 7 everyday is harsh - tell me you at least finish early so you can enjoy this wonderful weather - good for the soul!

I recommend poldark as gratuitous period eye candy!

Baby napping therefore let the clear up begin.....unhelpfully DD1 broke washing line yesterday by swinging on it so not sure what to do with the laundry hey ho!

Brooke113 · 20/04/2015 09:57

I feel.like I'm.missing out on.this poldark Grin

How are things with you today Issie?

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 20/04/2015 09:54

Issie339 · 20/04/2015 08:36

Morning!

Nicky I have really positive vibes for you this month, fx for that bfp hun.

Poldark is a period drama, the story & acting are a bit hit and miss but Poldark himself is the point of the show- a bit of a hunk!!! lols.

sparklesandfizz · 20/04/2015 07:59

Wow maybe you're an early riser!
I hardly watch any TV am too old and tired....find I just fall asleep, sad!
Nicky your 12yo will be a real help, I also have good vibes for you this month, fx
Am shopping today so might pick up some sticks so I can have the joy of trying not to Use them til the weekend

Bring on the school run and then the school holiday mega clear up begins.
Hope everyone has a nice sunny day x

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 07:53

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 20/04/2015 07:14

Roung? Brain fail, too early in the day for correct spellings! Blush

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 20/04/2015 06:05

Welcome Strawberry!

I keep hearing good things about Poldark. May get roung to watching it at some point.

DH had just got me started with Prison Break. Never watched it before. Shame on me! I haven't even seen one episode of Breaking Bad Blush

nickynackynoo31 · 19/04/2015 22:45

sparkles...I have 2 boys one who is 12 and one who's 4. youngest starts school full time in Sept so looking forward to having a little one around again Smile Smile

I know I'd be happy with boy or girl but I am hoping for a girl Confused ...does that make me selfish???

nickynackynoo31 · 19/04/2015 22:13

nickynackynoo31 · 19/04/2015 22:11

I'm not sure if everything is just in my head and it's all wishful thinking to be honest....

according to phone app AF is due Friday but ov was couple if days later than said so I'm not sure...I'm hoping to wait until at least wed before testing tho...
if I can as im desperate to know already!!!

nickynackynoo31 · 19/04/2015 22:07

strawberry....welcome hun...I hope your not waiting too long for your BFP! !!!

StrawberryPav42 · 19/04/2015 21:50

Thanks for the welcome all you lovely ladies!

Violet have got a few tests in stock so I'm going to be an earlier tester (would so like to be a wait and see-er but based on previous months the need to know is a dominant beast!). Using the Clear Blue Fertility monitor, AF should be due around the 30th. Think I must find out about this Poldark chap to distract!!

Issie fx for May for you, positive thoughts x

Issie339 · 19/04/2015 21:34

Welcome Strawberry, fx this is your month, we're still waiting on our first bfp on this thread so I'm optimistic for all of you still to test!

Watching Poldark, defo a nice distraction Wink

I've just spent £60 on Amazon on all kinds of stuff to help make May my month- OPKs, vitamins etc.

VioletIbiza88 · 19/04/2015 21:32

Hi Strawberry welcome! I'm also ttc #1 and DPO3 or 4 (im not quite sure). Are you going to be an early tester or a wait and see'er? When do you think AF is due?

Thanks Sparkles, I'm sure it will

Brooke113 · 19/04/2015 21:25

Hi strawberry, welcome :) hope you get your bfp very soon.

Not long until you can test them sparkles, exciting :)

sparklesandfizz · 19/04/2015 21:20

Hey there stawberry! They're a reet friendly lot on here - joined myself last week and find it a great distraction.

Had a lovely day with some old old friends who popped up unexpectedly.
No sx to speak of but boobs feeling full and sore.... Not sure means much as BF muchly!

Figure am 10dpo (or possibly 7dpo) and planning to test fri/sat if I can wait that long.

Violet hope work proves a welcome distraction!

I've only gone and missed bloody poldark haven't i? He's very lovely and rather a distraction himself....

StrawberryPav42 · 19/04/2015 21:03

Would it be ok to join this thread? New to Mumsnet, TTC No 1 and could do with some handholding. Cycle 5, in the 2ww DPO3 - eek!

VioletIbiza88 · 19/04/2015 19:51

I'm actually glad I'm going back to work tomorrow, as it will give me a break from thinking about tww all the time!!! Realised I'm only DPO 3 or 4 today! So the wait seems absolutely ages!! If my luteal phase is 14 days then my cycle will be 34 or 35 days, which seems an impossibly long time, if that's how they are going to stay!!

Nicky I'm getting really good vibes about you!! Fx'd!!! I did just have some stomach pains, but im sure its probably just hunger lol!

Issie, Brooke sorry your feeling so crappy. I hope either your both wrong or your AFs show up soon so you can move on to next month.

I got some clear blue tests ordered but now thinking I should have got superdrug own or frer, as a lot of people are saying clear blue arn't as sensitive, does anyone know of any comparison list on the internet that says what level of hcg different tests pick up?? Now really not sure about testing early, but don't know if I have the willpower to wait.

Have you decided when your testing Nicky? We were going to be due to test at the same time, do you remember, then I had my really late ov!!!! I'm so behind now lol!!!

sparklesandfizz · 19/04/2015 19:45

Oh Nicky lol - it'll all come back! How big are your dc's and what variety? Am loving it third time round, bigguns at school and getting lots of time with LO in fact it's like having my first but with none of the hang ups!

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 19/04/2015 19:09

nicky fingers crossed for you! Hopefully mother in law is oblivious to that behavour!

I sometimes find myself looking side-on at the mirror when I'm bloated! Blush

Brooke113 · 19/04/2015 19:03

Aww nicky maybe it's instinct :) fingers crossed for you.
