Looking for a Mum-to-be to buddy up! I'm TTC number 1 and not had any luck so far, having a couple of months off before we start trying again. x

Ooh good luck to Mr Sparkles for his interview! Are there a number of rounds of interviewing or is he likely to know a decision soon?

I was up at 4:45 with DD then back to sleep and up at 5:40 with the alarm- a work day today, boooo! How am I going to do this without coffee??? Thinking of cutting it out altogether, thoughts? Will it help in the ttc? It's going to be soooo hard!!

Nicky and Violet how is 'twinge-watch' this morning? Smile

sparklesandfizz · 21/04/2015 06:42

Damn the light mornings! Little miss sparkle wide awake.
Trying desperately not to symptom spot

Violet you're also sounding good

Nicky - stop with the twinge analysis tis bad for the health!!!

Wishing everyone another wonderful day.....maybe I know you're up so at least there's two of us!

Big day for the sparkles household today.....Mr Sparkles has a job interview, would mean the world if he got it. Currently we both switch round every 6 months however this job would mean he get to serve out his days in ONE Place, and it's a nice place. In fact it's the one he's always said he'd want to work at permanently and having upped the little sparkles and moved into our dream family home tail end of last year we wouldn't have to move again. ( the pay rise would also be v helpful as I appear to be addicted to mat leave hehe )

My brain is doing bad things like telling me it can't be our lucky month for both jobs and babies so I have gracefully decided that
I would prefer Mr s to get his job as if my mental bargaining with fate holds much sway... ( at this point) however will still be peeingmost hopefully on a stick on fri with you Nicky))

Going to need double distraction today therefore have saved the supermarket shop for today.

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 23:30

fingers crossed violet xx

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 20/04/2015 20:42

Strawberry Weekday daytime is good at keeping me distracted-ish as we're pretty busy at work at the moment. Otherwise I don't have much distraction. TV doesn't seem to get my attention too easily. Maybe I just need to find something new to watch. Although saying that, Dr G on ID channel is pretty interesting!

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 20:41

I've got cramps again but stronger bit like period pains Sad Sad Sad x

StrawberryPav42 · 20/04/2015 20:24

Sorry to hear that Brooke, good that you're keeping positive of next month though :)

In distraction town its magazine-o-rama, reading seems to keep my mind better occupied it seems, stops mind wandering....hows everyone else keeping busy?

Issie339 · 20/04/2015 20:20

Ooh that's a good sign Violet, fx for you!

VioletIbiza88 · 20/04/2015 19:45

Well done Nicky, its 7dpo you would have just been disappoint as far to early yet. I've had stomach cramps today at 4 or 5dpo. Trying not to get excited about that and saying its probably nothing! Work is being a fairly good distraction until I get another twinge an then I'm back thinking again. But overall definitely been more chilled out about things today. Hope your all ok x

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 16:58

thank you to all you lovely ladies for the support earlier...I've hidden the tests and hope I can distract myself until Friday x

Brooke113 · 20/04/2015 14:36

Welldone for resisting temptation nicky

Af arrived properly today cd28! I can't remember the last time I had a 28 day cycle! At least I can now start thinking about next month now :)

sparklesandfizz · 20/04/2015 13:49

Nicky it's a weird compulsion and you can't be blamed!
But now they will call every time you need a wee wee hehe. Stay strong x

sparklesandfizz · 20/04/2015 13:47

In other exciting news dd2 appears to have cut her first tooth (great news as suspected she had turned into the devil between 3&5am turns out there was an explanation hoorah!)

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 13:06

I don't know what came over me....I said to other half last night I'm not doing anything till end of week and I went to asda with no intention of buying sticks then I was like a total idiot walking up and down isle....even asda worker kept looking at me..must of thought I was shoplifting lol x

sparklesandfizz · 20/04/2015 12:51

It's adeal nicky! I can pretend to be all goody two shoes but only cos I haven't got any sticks! Would be the same as you if they were in the bathroom taunting me.

D7 po is too early even in my book and I have previous form lol!

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 12:37

looking I think it's me you and sparkles for friday/Saturday so I will be good and try keep busy and wait xx

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 12:36

I've been to pee and resisted temptation....

I'm scared to do it incase it BFN! !!! Sad Sad

sparkles shall we make a pact to test together on Friday? ?? x

Lookingforadvice123 · 20/04/2015 12:33

Nicky I would wait as surely you won't get a positive this early on anyway? Wait with me and we can be poas buddies! Af is due Sunday but I usually get spotting up to two days before, so I've decided that I'll test Saturday only if I've not had any spotting - only cos I'll have a drink Saturday night if it's negative!

What's the best test to get seeing as I'll be testing early ie the day before af is due?

Nicky when is your af due?

Issie339 · 20/04/2015 12:17

Don't do it Nicky! Or if you do do it expect the BFN and don't get upset, it doesn't mean you're not pregnant it just means you're testing too early!!!

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 12:15

I'm 7 days after ov.....
AF due Friday....

I don't know what to do....and I need to pee lol

nickynackynoo31 · 20/04/2015 12:14

I should leave it as there only asda ones but do say from 4 days before AF! !!

Issie339 · 20/04/2015 12:04

Nicky put the tests down and back away slowly!!!

Sparkles- I will be the naughty kid at the party swigging gin from a hip-flask due to my being out for this month- grrr.

sparklesandfizz · 20/04/2015 11:59

Nicky put your hands in the air and step away from the sticks.
What dpo are you?
At,least use FMU if you are considering it.

Or vow to wait and we can test together on fri/sat - think looking also testing then.... It beginning to look a bit like a POAS party.

Everyone gets a BFP in their party bag when they leave, and cake of course!(hold the vino thanks we are bound to all be duffed)

Disclaimer I may smuggle in some gin just in case someone didn't read the memo and I get an awful BFN!

oooh party planning ina virtual manner may keep me busy xx

Maybe - glad to hear it x

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 20/04/2015 11:44

Sparkles- I always finish at 3 so have a fair few hours of sunshine left if the weather's good!

Nicky behave yourself. Back away from the tests!
