Last month I drove myself nuts with symptom spotting and early poas. I had every sign and symptom going and was convinced I was pregnant. Luckily I kept a list of all my many symptoms on a calendar so this time if necessary I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.
I'm determined not to test until 23rd, as I think I should come on then if I'm going to, must stay strong!! Anyone want company in ignoring the whole thing?!

Yip Mother Nature is a pure bitch, thankfully mine is on the way out!!

Epskie have u tested again since your bfp?? So what makes the value of a house go up??

Terry you weren't daft! It difficult not to test early! Although I'm beginning to think they should develope a test to say you AF is coming as you know it before your pg!!

MalibuDaisy · 05/04/2015 18:50

Hi all! Terry that's amazing news, congrats!! So shouting at coleslaw is a symptom after all :) :)

Away at my parents' for the Easter break but have managed to break away and log on. Twenty minutes ago I thought "That's odd, I'm sure I have period pains" - and sure enough AF is here three days early (I just had to have an embarrassing "Do you have any tampons?" convo with my mum!!) - it's dark, dark brown so I'm trying NOT to think it could be an implantation bleed but failing not to get my hopes up. DH has his eye on me as he knows I will inevitably get over-excited, bless him.

Gah, sod this. Last month all my "symptoms" were the onset of a cold, now this. Mother Nature is pure evil!!

epskie · 05/04/2015 18:20

Hey congrats Terry that's great news!! Smile

It's honestly not sophisticated spring, nosing round people's houses haha.

TerryTheGreenHorse · 05/04/2015 17:44

Thanks everyone. I'll feel better after Wednesday as that will mean I missed my period, I am daft testing so early.

FortySixandTwo · 05/04/2015 14:10

Congrats Terry that's lovely news !

Springflower3 · 05/04/2015 13:25

Massive congrats terry! How long were u trying again??

beckiepea83 · 05/04/2015 11:34

Congratulations on all the BFP's fab news, and Happy Easter everyone! Just starting the 2ww myself again! Agree hewy... Two weeks seems to last ages when trying not to POAS lol.

TerryTheGreenHorse · 05/04/2015 09:42

Only 11 DPO (couldn't help myself)

Anyway as far as symptoms go nothing out of the ordinary from previous months.

I've been feeling a touch moodier than usual, sore boobs which I always get and crampy feelings which again I've had previous months!

hewy · 05/04/2015 09:19

Congratulations Terry!! Fab news.
I'm 3dpo...such a long wait til POAS!

CarrotVan · 05/04/2015 09:14

So many BFPs - congratulations everyone.

LaraNotCroft22 · 05/04/2015 09:00

Amazing news Terry!!! How many days dpo are you? So exciting!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 05/04/2015 08:26

Bloody hell. Just got a BFP on a FRER! Shock It's pretty clear.

hewy · 05/04/2015 01:04

Congrats epskie!

Springflower3 · 04/04/2015 14:51

If I was in your position I would had my ass to the gp get a confirmation test.... Cause 5 tests can't be wrong like as get booked in!!!! I was hoping and praying for u to bfp..... And I won't deny I was jealous at the sake time lol!!!

Yea he was left a lot of land and there is a farm on it and we put a replacement dwelling...... So will planning n all it could take a while! A house valuer?? Sounds sophisticated!!!

epskie · 04/04/2015 13:50

Ah I'm so glad you're ok - I was thinking about you!

I think so. Still testing every day - paranoia setting in. Don't know when to book in or anything, mithering over whether to ask for early scan or just try not to panic.

Building a house sounds exciting! I'm a valuer so I love house talk! Haha.

Springflower3 · 04/04/2015 12:46

Hey epskie! Sorry I haven't been in touch I've been flat out with work and willing my AF to do one!!! Lol! Me and dp feel it isn't the right time as I want to process in my job and we had plans to build a house..... Although if we were blessed with a child we would be over moon lol!!

Have you got over the shock of your bfp???? epskie

Any one left to test????

epskie · 04/04/2015 08:28

I think tests with pink lines don't get evap lines but blue do, or something like that.

spring you ok? X

TerryTheGreenHorse · 03/04/2015 12:22

I found the cheapies good last time but I got these one step inches from Amazon and I had a few lines last month, one really clear one that was false.

I think you have to just be really firm with yourself about the really faint lines and unless they are clearly pink count it as a BFN.

I hate these faint shadowy lines. I can't remember them from last time I was testing!

epskie · 03/04/2015 12:10

That's very interested about frer!

I know lara I was just thinking before if I'd only done that test and received that result I.might've gone out and had a skinful today!!

Thanks for the reassurance everyone

LaraNotCroft22 · 03/04/2015 11:58

Epskie I can definitely see a line too! Obviously just too early for the digital. Scary they can be so insensitive?!

I've just ordered some amazon cheap tests (15x 10mlu) ahead of next weekends testing.

Anyone used them before? A couple of reviews said they got false positives/ evap lines so a bit concerned.

MalibuDaisy · 03/04/2015 11:52

epskie that definitely looks like a strong positive - yay! What a relief for you :)

Interesting re. First Response - I always thought they were the best tests, but redesigning them so that you might think you have a positive when you don't is pretty unforgiveable!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 03/04/2015 11:48

Just to add in case anyone else is using frers, the past few months ive been getting a visible second line which is hard to see if is pink or grey. I found an article on them the other day which said that the new ones have a really visible antibody strip where the dye would settle for a BFP.

Ive gone off them as a result, can't be doing with fake lines!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 03/04/2015 11:39

I was reading about a while back about people worring about darker lines and the just of it was that the amount of HCG can vary quite a lot in your urine depending on a lot of things, and some tests just don't go super dark,

That's a good strong positive I would say, not even faint.

It's so hard not to worry at this stage though isn't it, but tis a perfect weekend to get your BFP feet up and plenty of chocolate. Thanks

epskie · 03/04/2015 11:37

Thanks Terry feel much better now :)

TerryTheGreenHorse · 03/04/2015 11:33

I just logged on to the website, that looks like a lovely clear positive to me! Not even faint.
