Last month I drove myself nuts with symptom spotting and early poas. I had every sign and symptom going and was convinced I was pregnant. Luckily I kept a list of all my many symptoms on a calendar so this time if necessary I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.
I'm determined not to test until 23rd, as I think I should come on then if I'm going to, must stay strong!! Anyone want company in ignoring the whole thing?!

Aw thanks Ickle I must admit that AF has been such a non-event in the last 24 hours that even now I catch myself thinking "Maybe??" But it's just clutching at straws now, it's been too many days. Onwards and upwards! I hope you get your BFP soon! x

Icklepickle101 · 08/04/2015 17:57

Sorry Malibu Sad

Ditto it's better to know one way rather than sitting around waiting.

MalibuDaisy · 08/04/2015 13:03

Thanks Lara and best of luck to you :) x

LaraNotCroft22 · 08/04/2015 12:44

Boo! Sorry Malibu :-( Glad you're happy that at least now you know though.

MalibuDaisy · 08/04/2015 07:42

I'm definitely out. Bleeding is continuing today, it's light but it still there so I'm certain it's just AF now. Onto next month I suppose! I'm just relieved to know one way or the other, really. Good luck to all who are still waiting on their BFPs :)

LaraNotCroft22 · 07/04/2015 13:57

Thanks Fuzzy. Will see what happens. May only be 9dpo as don't know if ovulated last sat or sun so will keep some hope. Good luck pickle, fingers crossed it's too early for you!!

fuzzywuzzy · 07/04/2015 13:47

8DPO is early Pickle.

I know exactly how you feel Lara. Still a chance tho until AF shows, it is dependant on when implantation happens.

Not sure if I wish there was an easier earlier way of telling whether we've managed it or whether the old way of missing AF before testing was better.

Icklepickle101 · 07/04/2015 13:37

Hi ladies!

I've been lurking for long enough, it's time to say hello!

I'm 8dpo and couldn't wait any longer poas this morning - BFN ??

I know it's too early but I'm still a little disappointed!

MalibuDaisy · 07/04/2015 12:20

Thanks Terry yes I'm going to give it til the end of the day and see what happens - I've had to go back to tampons cos I had exercise classes this morning and there was no way I was risking a sudden AF surge without!! So I currently have no idea. Oh, the fun and games of it all Wink

Sorry to hear you got a negative Lara - still pretty early days though IMO. I hope your appointment goes well x

LaraNotCroft22 · 07/04/2015 09:39

I gave in and poas too. BFN Hmm. Feel like I've failed, it's horrible. I wish this was easier. I have a docs appt today to discuss fertility so hopefully that will help.

Only 10 dpo so still a small chance I guess, otherwise onwards to next month we go!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 07/04/2015 09:12

I don't want to get your hopes up daisy but the first test I used with DS1 was a total negative (tesco) and I tested in the morning with a frer and got a stonking great line, I don't think they are super sensitive.

I guess wait and see if AF either picks up or sods off?

MalibuDaisy · 07/04/2015 08:27

Terry it's barely there. I stopped using tampons yesterday evening and switched to a panty liner - it was clean this morning but there were some clots when I went to pee (sorry if tmi!) So it's difficult to say what's going on. I noticed that the chemist near us sells FRER tests (this morning's was a Tesco as it was all I had in the house) - I might see what happens today then possibly get one later in the week if I think there's any point. Really thinking that it might just be "one of those things" with AF at the moment though. Bit bloody cruel of her though, frankly! x

TerryTheGreenHorse · 07/04/2015 08:20

Sorry to hear that Daisy. How is AF is it more normal now?

MalibuDaisy · 07/04/2015 07:06

BFN this morning. Kinda knew it would be. Ah well. Thanks for the support, you guys are lovely! :) x

MalibuDaisy · 06/04/2015 16:35

Aw thanks ladies. Still some bleeding although more at the levels I'd expect at the tail end of AF - if it doesn't pick up any momentum I might test tomorrow, but for now I'm assuming it's just a light, early period. I do wish I knew for sure though!! Will keep you posted x

LaraNotCroft22 · 06/04/2015 14:03

I hope it's a lucky thread! Starting to get the urge to poas!!!!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 06/04/2015 09:44

Fingers crossed for you Malibu.

Let us know how you get on, I know in never early so I wouldn't know what to make of that at all!

wineandpopcorn · 06/04/2015 09:07
  • Congratulations!
wineandpopcorn · 06/04/2015 09:07

Terry congregation, that is fantastic new!!

Malibu, you are having exactly what happened to me, a small bleed 3 days early, and mine resulted in a bfp so maybe you should test?!?!

This thread is definitely lucky! Fingers and toes crossed for the rest of you to get January babies!!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 06/04/2015 08:18

Epskie that's good news, I wonder if they would check your HCG levels with a blood test if you exolained you were worried though?

I'm always looking at American sites and they are always off to get their bloods done!

MalibuDaisy · 06/04/2015 06:41

Well, bleeding is lighter than I'd expect at the start of AF, and the early signs are that it's tailing off, but that could just be because it's come on so early. Or teasing me Hmm I guess I'll have a clearer idea by the end of the day. Managed to get about an hour's sleep wondering about it all!

Epskie I hope the good strong BFPs put your mind to rest a little, hopefully an appointment will do the job if not though :)

epskie · 05/04/2015 23:09

Malibu keep us posted, I do hope it's implantation bleeding for you!

Oh yes, I've tested every single morning. My line is getting darker every day, I'm on my kindle at the moment but tomorrow when I'm on my phone I'll post the photos I've been taking of them everyday to track the difference in colour.

I've decided to ring and book in with the midwife on Tuesday, every little thing is terrifying me. If something is going to go wrong then it's not going to make a difference when I book in so I might as well do it soon and talk my fears through with her.

Springflower3 · 05/04/2015 21:24

Haha Lara I was wondering!!! But I'm dying to know if epskie has tested again as well!!!!!

LaraNotCroft22 · 05/04/2015 20:59

Sorry epskie mean have you tested -
again?

Sorry Spring seeing your name there threw me! Confused

LaraNotCroft22 · 05/04/2015 20:58

Ahh no Malibu that's rubbish. I hope you get your final answer one way or another soon to make it easier (hopefully that it's an implantation bleed)

I'm currently 7/8 dpo. Had smileys on opk fri eve and sat lunchtime then neg Sunday so not sure exactly when ov'd.

Anyone else testing next week?

Spring how are things looking now? Have you tested again?
