Last month I drove myself nuts with symptom spotting and early poas. I had every sign and symptom going and was convinced I was pregnant. Luckily I kept a list of all my many symptoms on a calendar so this time if necessary I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.
I'm determined not to test until 23rd, as I think I should come on then if I'm going to, must stay strong!! Anyone want company in ignoring the whole thing?!

AF has arrived, consultant said it looks like I had a biological pregnancy (guess that's a chemical pregnancy). At least I know I can fall pregnant. On the other hand I wish I didn't know I'd lost the pregnancy this may sound precious but it hurts like a real loss to me. I feel stupid for feeling so sad.

Fatty I hope you go on to get your bfp too and have a safe pregnancy.

FattyFishwife · 12/05/2015 19:38

thanks for the lovely words ladies

hope you get that BFP that stays on the monitor fuzzy...must be so frustrating and confusing for you ((hugs)) xx

fuzzywuzzy · 12/05/2015 11:38

I'm using the same batch of tests, was given a load at the hospital and I've been testing at the same time every morning using FMU, according to instructions.

I've got a banging headache this morning, think I had a high temp too.

Af due on Thursday according to app which is very accurate (I thought I was due on Wednesday). So guess I just sit tight.

Even when I was looking for a BFP, this month has completely thrown me.

birchygoo · 12/05/2015 10:11

fuzzy how strange - could there be a fault in the monitor? Are you testing at diff times of the day?

fatty Im so sorry for your loss - am glad you have come back for some support xxx

fuzzywuzzy · 12/05/2015 07:40

Oh Fatty I am so sorry for your loss.

I got a BFP last thursday then a BFN every day till yesterday when I got a BFP and BFN this morning, I'm using a clearblue advanced fertility monitor and to be honest I'm feeling a bit scared as to what is happening. Sad

FattyFishwife · 11/05/2015 22:14

well, ladies....guess whos back with an update......

to cut a long story short....unexpected (slight) bleed at 8+4....visit to the BEP clinic showed a blighted ovum :( had to wait 10 days for a rescan, which confirmed the diagnosis, so i was taken round to the ward to...well do what needed doing.

this was on friday (when I would have been 10 weeks)....so.....im back on the trail of the holy grail of the 2 pink/blue lines again....or I will be once my bloody discharge has stopped (not very romantic that stuff!!)

hope everyone is well and hope that in my 9 weeks absence, there have been some more BFP's and causes for celebration xxx

doomkittycleo · 09/05/2015 16:24

Not a case of saying sorry. We didn't fight as such. The amount of time I spent sobbing about bfn the month before last really worried him. He is worrying about how well I cope with stress in the future if we make this commitment. He's scared that every time things get tough I'll lose it.

He's starting to come round. I'm at my mum and dads this evening, but hopefully things will have settled down by the time we get to Barcelona. I just hope I don't ovulate early this month as it will probably take a couple more days for us to get back to normal playful, fun relationship ; ewcm has appeared earlier than usual so just hoping everything will be ok.

birchygoo · 09/05/2015 15:11

doom I know this feeling - happened me in Feb, but I spoke with dh after and explained to him what we missed out on and now I hope that he understands it wont happen again. so maybe try talking to him?
also I sometimes just suck it up and say sri just for a simple life

doomkittycleo · 09/05/2015 13:34

He doesn't do make up sex, never has. He just pulls away and says he's not in the mood.

fuzzywuzzy · 09/05/2015 12:45

Doom couldn't you seduce him? Make up sex is pretty amazing and if it coincides with the right time of the month then even better. Wink

doomkittycleo · 09/05/2015 11:21

I'm so anxious right now because me and DP have had an unsettled few days and now I have ewcm. Think I have little chance of getting him to BD cus he's still being cold with me. We're going to Barcelona on Monday to celebrate my birthday but I'm really worried we'll not have chance to BD cus he's not "feeling it" right now.

fuzzywuzzy · 09/05/2015 09:21

I have to test every day till AF shows.

birchygoo · 08/05/2015 20:53

I'm sure you're gutted Sad but your dh will only be feeling exactly what you are and he will also be sad that you seen it as well.
do you have to test tomorrow?

fuzzywuzzy · 08/05/2015 17:50

Thanks Birchy, I've also read loads about false positives being rare.

The worst thing is on the CBAFM it's not a shadowy line you're looking at, the entire monitor screen is covered in a plus sign with the words 'pregnant' in capital letters across the middle!

I'll get over it. Upsetting as I wasn't anticipating it this month. Feel worse as DP saw it too and he looked so happy.

birchygoo · 08/05/2015 16:42

fuzzy I am so sorry this has happened to you - how upsetting and unfair! I was always lead to believe that false positives are almost unheard of.

fuzzywuzzy · 08/05/2015 12:59

I use the clearblue advanced fertility monitor to test when I ov, also as I'm on a medical trial I also have to do HPT's using it from CD15, yesterday I got a BFP (altho I could not see the line at all on the test myself), was a massive shock as even tho we are trying we totally missed peak this month and would have only put me at 7/8dpo, was told by consultant to carry out the tests for the next two days to make sure, and today I got a BFN.

All signs are exactly as they normally are for me at this point in my cycle.

Feeling disheartened, wouldn't be so upset if I hadn't had the BFP yesterday.

birchygoo · 07/05/2015 18:00

I do hopeful but I'm in agony with cramps so expecting AF to show up tomorrow - a day early.

but you are def ages of - likely not even implanted yet!

Hopefulnewbie · 07/05/2015 14:42

birchygoo i have spent most of the day in work on google reading up on early testing and reading posts on here , lots of women said that the day before AF was due they were bfN then a few days passed their due date they were getting bfP... fingers crossed that's the case for both of us! you still have 2 days to go Smile

birchygoo · 07/05/2015 13:18

aw hopeful it is to early you never know for this month yet!

I am with you though as I also did a test this morning and got a BFN. My Af is due on 9th though so I am guessing mine prob is a BFN :-( especially mixed in with af symptoms

Hopefulnewbie · 07/05/2015 08:03

Ladies, I had a moment of madness this morning... AF isn't due til 13th but I did a test this morning, obv it was bfN .. Now I'm gutted and given up for this month :(

fuzzywuzzy · 07/05/2015 03:23

I use the CBFM, this is my second cycle with it, we hit the main two peak days last month.

Spring I'm sorry af's shown.

Birchy I get af symptoms, but right before af arrives it all vanishes which is the way I know af is coming the next day or so.

birchygoo · 06/05/2015 22:48

AW spring I'm sri AF has arrived. wasn't meant to be this month.
your month will come! have you been trying for long?

I think my AF is on way as well, very crampy and cold tonight. I do get PMS symptoms a lot. I get lots of overlapping symptoms because of ibs as well.

I have bought the cbfm - this is m first month using it. not sure how accurate it will be this month as you are suppose to start it when AF is her but I got it too late so I just made up a cycle so I could use it [c

I also had 21 day bloods done this month which all came back good today. so that was good news.

Springflower3 · 06/05/2015 21:47

AF has well and truly arrived!!! :(! I think I will miss my chance this month too as I will be away on hols leaving dp at home!!!

Birch I use just an app to tell me when I should be fertile..... I haven't got round to using tracking methods?? Do you??

I think we all symptom spot to within an inch of our lives!!! Lol

Do you get pms symtoms??

birchygoo · 06/05/2015 17:59

thanks fuzzy

I'm trying very hard not to test - do any of you use the cbfm?

fuzzywuzzy · 05/05/2015 21:49

Hah, DP was too knackered to do anything but sleep yesterday.

We did manage to catch a few high fertile days so I've no idea really what's happening.

Next month he's not going anywhere during the crucial days! Altho I guess we'll just see what happens.

Welcome Birchy, we're attempting to ignore symptoms here.... Never works I've had every symptom going ever since we started TTC!
