Last month I drove myself nuts with symptom spotting and early poas. I had every sign and symptom going and was convinced I was pregnant. Luckily I kept a list of all my many symptoms on a calendar so this time if necessary I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.
I'm determined not to test until 23rd, as I think I should come on then if I'm going to, must stay strong!! Anyone want company in ignoring the whole thing?!

I'm still only spotting and another bfn - Cd27 and 13 dpo so chance of success is very low now and just can't wait to see af so I can start again.
temperamental fingers crossed for you

temperamentalamongcorvids · 20/03/2015 16:06

How is everyone today? Confession: I poas. Negative obviously. And so stupid, when I think about it, I've never actually had a bfp before af was due. 11dpo todaY.

I've had a false negative the first time we ttc. It was at 11 dpo. Tested again at 13 dpo and bfp. I'm dpo 13-14 just now and seems very positive! Don't know whether it's worth testing again in few days to make sure!

temperamentalamongcorvids · 19/03/2015 16:57

I guess it could be, gakay. Tho when I had IB in a previous pregnancy it wasn't like this. I'm sore too.
called my trial midwife who's basically told me it's either AF or IB. Will see what happens tomorrow.
Exactly.

gakay · 19/03/2015 16:08

Congratulations on all the bfps!

temperamental could it be IB?
My AF is still not in full flow and bfn this morning. Tiny secret part of me is hoping that my 2 days of pink and today's spotting is just IB called my trial midwife who's basically told me it's either AF or IB. Will see what happens tomorrow.

Jessica2point0 · 19/03/2015 15:24

Congrats on the bfps! How many dpo were you when you tested, and had you had any false negatives?

I've just signed up too - hopefully I won't be able to do it though because I'll get my bfp this cycle!

fuzzywuzzy · 19/03/2015 14:59

wonder if I could use the salad drawer for storing 14 jars of wee.... DP would just take it in his stride I reckon, he let's me get on with most things without batting an eyelid.

I'm also only doing the trial for one cycle, it's extended if I fall pregnant during it.

lilyb84 · 19/03/2015 14:49

Haha, I think wee in the fridge might not be the best way of convincing my DH that I'm not obsessing about this conception malarkey Wink

FattyFishwife · 19/03/2015 14:47

and congrats to the BFP'ers xxx

FattyFishwife · 19/03/2015 14:47

i did the clearblue study before christmas. Its a bit of a pain as you have to collect your first morning urine in the bedpan thing they provide, test for ovulation (on certain days), then fill one of their jars up to the top, lid on, seal with special tape, fill in and apply the special labels, put it in the bag then in the box, fill in your daily diary, and fill in an intercourse diary......a bit manic if you are running late/busy mum trying to get kid ready and off to school.

You also have to keep your pee in the fridge, although i kept mine in the shed as i had no room for a lunch box full of 14 jars of pee!

BUT so worth it because you get many c/b ovulation sticks and about 3-4 pregnancy tests too.

Sadly they only needed me for one and a half cycles (probs my age!!) but they did 'pay' me with another box of 20 OPK's, which as you know, aint cheap.

on the whole a worthwhile thing, especially as you know that in a small way, its helping them develop better products for women like us xxx

wineandpopcorn · 19/03/2015 14:40

Wow congratulations!

I have just signed up for the study Smile

BuggerLumpsAnnoyed · 19/03/2015 14:21

Well done sleepy! Did the clear blue and got 1-2 weeks pregnant. I know they're not better than the cheapies but just seeing the words makes it real! Good luck everyone xx

lilyb84 · 19/03/2015 14:19

Woohoo!! Congrats sleepy Grin Grin Grin

And welcome wineandpopcorn.

Hmm, I like trials fuzzy although agree that sounds like paranoia overload... Smile Might look into it though if only to save a few bob on tests!

Sleepybunny · 19/03/2015 14:19

Thanks so much Smile I'm still shaking and can't stop looking at the test!

temperamentalamongcorvids · 19/03/2015 14:13

fuzzywuzzy · 19/03/2015 14:08

Yeay Sleepy, congratulations Grin

fuzzywuzzy · 19/03/2015 14:07

I got a call back, I need to sign and email the consent forms and I've been accepted on the trial.

Apparently I will get OPK's and pregnancy tests and I need to take urine samples every morning and fill in a diary and send them back to them (they supply all the postage and containers etc). They also pay in high street vouchers after the trial is completed. It covers one cycle.

Hopefully if I'm pregnant I'll need to let them know and return the things they send.

here if any of you lovely ladies is interested.

Sleepybunny · 19/03/2015 14:04

That's like the clearest positive I've ever seen! So happy

Good luck girls! I hope there are more to come!
I've literally had no symptoms except for heartburn in the evenings which was unusual.

Sleepybunny · 19/03/2015 14:02

Oops tested

BFP!!!

I'm in total shock Shock we have been so lucky!

temperamentalamongcorvids · 19/03/2015 13:52

fatty hello and welcome.

fuzzy I'm not sure that being in a trial like that would be any good for my state of mind! But let us know if you get on it, sounds interesting.

By the way, my last post sounded like I'm symptom spotting but I must most emphatically assert that I am not Hmm Blush

fuzzywuzzy · 19/03/2015 12:54

Good luck Sleepy and Tempramental.

Has anyone here looed at joining the clearblue trying to conceive study? I filled in the forms a couple of days ago and they're going to call me today (hoping they'll send me tests so I can POAS to my hearts content!)

FattyFishwife · 19/03/2015 12:50

can i join please

44 last week, cycle #18 TTC for number 6. have driven myself to distraction the past 18 months symptom spotting, so this month, no OPK's, no fertility monitor, no fertility friend or period watcher app.....and im trying SO hard not to 'spot' that my boobs are STILL killing me with pain and fizzy tingling and have been since O day (currently 6dpo)

hate this TWW....lasts longer than the week before christmas when you were little!

temperamentalamongcorvids · 19/03/2015 12:45

I've got a tiny bit of spotting today and af type cramps, also the damp feeling that comes before af. It's a bit early as not due on till Monday but feels like af not anything else.

OP posts:
Sleepybunny · 19/03/2015 12:32

Ahhhh AF due tomorrow....I have one test in the house!!! Must resist urge.....

Jessica2point0 · 19/03/2015 10:56

I've found this has helped my restrain myself:

whenmybaby.com/implantation-doubling-calculator.php

It tells you when you're likely to get a positive hpt based on hcg levels, includes data for different implantation dates, and different hcg doubling rates. So according to that I will still only have about a 50% chance of getting a bfp on Monday, even if I am upduffed!
