anyone else in the 2ww but absolutely not symptom spotting this time?

Last month I drove myself nuts with symptom spotting and early poas. I had every sign and symptom going and was convinced I was pregnant. Luckily I kept a list of all my many symptoms on a calendar so this time if necessary I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.
I'm determined not to test until 23rd, as I think I should come on then if I'm going to, must stay strong!! Anyone want company in ignoring the whole thing?!

I read all this ages ago and I think it's 50 mui or thereabouts, the Internet cheapies I always use are supposed to be 10 but they are probably not, and first response ones something like 25.

fuzzywuzzy · 25/03/2015 15:20

Epskie I was wondering that, the tests don't actually show how much of the HCG hormone they test.

I'm going to test tomorrow (feeling scared), as well as bad back and today hot flushes everyone in the office is looking at me strangely as I'm usually wrapped up in thick cardigans!
Thanks Woolly hope my back clears up too.

Sorry to those who are out, af is certainly a bitch! BrewCake

Clear blue digital pregnancy tests say you can test up to 4 days before your period but I've heard people saying they aren't as sensitive - how does that work? Which tests will you all be using? I don't want to test too early in case of chemical

Woolly84 · 25/03/2015 13:33

Congrats proud that's awesome news!! Grin
fuzzy hope your back feels better soon.
jessica sorry AF got you, definitely treat yourself to some Wine

Jessica2point0 · 25/03/2015 13:22

That's awesome proud, congratulations! Hope you have an easy and stress-free 9 months.

I'm out for this month. AF arrived, so I'm going to console myself with some wine this evening.

Proudmummy2456 · 25/03/2015 12:11

Got my BFP this morning on a FRER 13 DPO GrinGrin will post pictures later!

Good luck Temperamental, it is absolutely important to grieve. Sounds like a really good idea to go on a health kick too, I've been trying to be healthier too.

Think age is catching up with me, I've done something to my back, it is so painful, hurts to sit or stand, not so bad walking (thankfully) please don't let it be anything serious it's a dull ache, have had it since yesterday.

Woolly84 · 25/03/2015 08:46

Oh temperamental I hope you're okay lovely, sorry AF has turned up and yes it is so important to grieve properly. I hope you feel better soon. Look after yourself x

temperamentalamongcorvids · 25/03/2015 07:00

I'm out. Feels like it took forever for af to turn up! Had a mini meltdown yesterday feeling sad about the one I lost in December, I haven't really taken much time to do that so it's a good thing. Back to square one, going on a major health kick this month, it at least makes me feel as though I'm doing something!

Good luck today proud and all the easter testers

We could get away with testing as early as next Thursday, that'd be 11dpo, but could get false negatives that early so better to wait till Sunday/Monday.

Proudmummy2456 · 24/03/2015 22:56

I know digis aren't as sensitive as other tests so I'm not overly worried Confused

TerryTheGreenHorse · 24/03/2015 22:44

Don't panic though the test might not be as sensitive as the other one you used.

If I can hold off till Easter Sunday I will be very pleased!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 24/03/2015 22:42

I just entered the madness.

I was ridiculous last month I really need to control myself this month!

Proud apparently you shouldn't take digis apart as they all have 2 lines as they work a little differently. Try with FMU tomorrow.

Proudmummy2456 · 24/03/2015 22:42

Thanks Woolly

Woolly84 · 24/03/2015 22:10

Ooo good luck proud I hope you get a clearer BFP tomorrow!! Smile
Good luck to the Easter testers!!
AF is due in about a week for me but I can be a couple of days late some months so going to hold out until I'm definitely late!

Proudmummy2456 · 24/03/2015 21:44

Thank you everyone feeling anxious now, hoping I get another BFP tomorrow. Very nervous!

epskie · 24/03/2015 21:37

And thank you - I hope we all get our longed for bfp's :-) x

epskie · 24/03/2015 21:36

Congrats proud! Flowers
I'm not sure when is earliest we can test - any body know? I'd like to leave it as long as possible though, easier said than done xx

Springflower3 · 24/03/2015 21:33

Sorry to hear that epskie. I really hope you get a bfp! Me and dp weren't actually trying but when the slip happened we decided to leave it in gods hands!! do you think you will last to Easter sunday?? Is that the earliest we can test???

doomkittycleo · 24/03/2015 21:29

I'd love to test Easter Sunday or Monday. Will see how I feel at the time.

wineandpopcorn · 24/03/2015 21:25

Wow congratulations proud! Flowers.

epskie · 24/03/2015 21:25

I love the Easter Sunday club :-) I'm going to try not to test too because I'm frightened of chemical. I have tests in (left over from miscarriage) I did actually do one today but that's simply because my paranoid mind realised that I hadn't checked for an actual bfn since my erpc (even though hospital checked my bloods) and started to think if I did get a bfp perhaps I couldn't trust it (crazy I know)
Obviously it was a bfn. So if you guys haven't had AF by Easter Sunday are you testing then?
spring I had a long, drawn out miscarriage that started on 21st December and ended 3 weeks ago so this is my first month of properly ttc x

doomkittycleo · 24/03/2015 20:40

Yeah, this is third cycle of ttc. Came off the pill on 12/01/2015. Really hoping to get caught soon. I'm on a temporary contract at work so will only get full maternity pay if I get caught long enough before contract ends.

Proudmummy2456 · 24/03/2015 20:38

Anyone used tesco own digital tests? Got not pregnant on it but when I ejected the cartridge there was 2 lines?
