Last month I drove myself nuts with symptom spotting and early poas. I had every sign and symptom going and was convinced I was pregnant. Luckily I kept a list of all my many symptoms on a calendar so this time if necessary I can remind myself that pms has all the same same features as early pregnancy.
I'm determined not to test until 23rd, as I think I should come on then if I'm going to, must stay strong!! Anyone want company in ignoring the whole thing?!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 27/03/2015 17:12

This Monday?

epskie · 27/03/2015 16:15

fuzzy that sounds like poas heaven!! Grin

Forty you're in good company here, we are all the same Wink

I've just been to the docs about my infected throat (got anti biotics) and accidentally fell into superdrug on my way back, then fell back into the car clutching a frer Blush so much for Easter Sunday! If af is due Monday, when can I use a frer?

fuzzywuzzy · 27/03/2015 15:40

Congrats fatty, love the bfps.

fuzzywuzzy · 27/03/2015 15:36

I'm doing the conceive trial at queen charlotte & Chelsea hospital. Had to give blood & wee & do one tests, they're looking for more volunteers (if anyone's in London & interested).

Got a clearblue fertility monitor & a shed load of OPK's & pregnancy test sticks to go with the monitor.

The trial last for twelve cycles or till your pregnant then they carry out extra scans.

As I'm obssessed with testing anyway I was happy to volunteer. And I now have a lovely little monitor (have to give it back once we get pregnant), and I can test every day from end of AF and then they want me to do pregnancy tests!

Springflower3 · 27/03/2015 15:11

Ha ha imagine of us all standing jiggling our boobs!!! I'm soooo tempted to test!!! Where is my restraint!!

Terry I think logical thinking goes out the window! Then your fanatically googling to see who else had early syndrome and if they had it then you must too!!! But surely it all can't be in our heads!!!!

TerryTheGreenHorse · 27/03/2015 14:20

Also confessing to being obsessed with boobs.

I think I did about 6 Internet cheapies in one day last month, I don't know how I am going to keep away!

FortySixandTwo · 27/03/2015 14:09

Hi Epskie to my shame yes its become a sort of compulsion. Hmm
Thanks for the welcome and massive congrats to those with their BFPs !

epskie · 27/03/2015 13:47

Hey Forty welcome :-) are you a fellow serial poas-er? Hope this month is your month too Grin

See, now I'm viciously jiggling my boobs up and down - not a dickie bird of a hint of pain Sad

wineandpopcorn · 27/03/2015 13:29

Woo congratulations! Flowers.

TerryTheGreenHorse · 27/03/2015 13:27

When I am being sensible I think that we wouldn't get any symptoms before HCG is strong enough to show on a test - so probably after AF is missed anyway.

But that doesn't stop me!

doomkittycleo · 27/03/2015 13:22

Not af signs, but twinges like af. Only been off the pill since January so still figuring out what's normal for me.

TerryTheGreenHorse · 27/03/2015 13:15

YAY fatty. I'd trust the other tests more tbh, ive heard loads of people say the cheapies didn't pick it up as soon despite being more sensitive (alledgedly!)

TerryTheGreenHorse · 27/03/2015 13:14

I think it's fairly normal to have sore boobs anyway, but it's hard to remember from month to month.

Springflower3 · 27/03/2015 13:13

Ha ha I have seen any of them now! With my boobs I'm thinking do I usually have sore boobs and not notice before AF???

FattyFishwife · 27/03/2015 13:00

my boobs definitely, they have hurt for the entire fortnight, when usually its just 3-4 days, and its been a different pain....like tingling/fizzing/burning, and the constipation to, the only time i ever get that is when i take co-codamol, which i havent had.

oh and of course the magpies...always trust those birdies!

Springflower3 · 27/03/2015 12:40

FFW do u believe they were genuine now that are are pg?

FattyFishwife · 27/03/2015 12:35

springflower

erm.......no...of course not!!

erm....maybe just a teeny weeny little bit....

ok ok.... I couldnt help myself noticing that maybe my boobs hurt more for longer, did my back hurt more....was i farting more than normal, was my constipation a sign.....was the fact i saw 2 magpies 3 days running a sign (thats a totes legit sign/symptom BTW!!)

FortySixandTwo · 27/03/2015 12:29

Hi All,

First post but long time lurker, been TTC for 3 yrs, Due see fertility specialist next month, I'm a devil for symptom spotting and need some strong words and maybe a little reality check to get me through the next 48 hours until AF arrives bang on time as it always does. Have had the DH lock the purse in the car so I absolutely cannot go into my O/D by buying pg tests :(

x

Springflower3 · 27/03/2015 12:23

Where you symptom spotting FFW

Big congrats also!!!!!

FattyFishwife · 27/03/2015 12:14

today im 14 dpo, but tested at 10 dpo with an early response/cheap version of FRER and there was a barely there shadow of a line, which was there in some lights/some angles and disappeared in others, so i thought i was just imagining things.

i waited (soooo hard) till 13 dpo and used a clearblue digital, and was shocked to see it tell me i was pregnant, i didnt believe it, so tested again with FMU with an ordinary clearblue and got the result above!

this morning i also tested with an internet cheapie dip strip that supposed to be as sensitive as 10mlu, and it showed absolutely bugger all!

epskie · 27/03/2015 12:04

FFWcongrats!!! Woohoo, well done you Star how many dpo are you?

Is 9dpo too soon to test??? Blush

FattyFishwife · 27/03/2015 11:41

look what i got this morning (after double checking yesterdays!) after 18 months of trying, shovelling umpteen supplements down my neck every day and peeing on lord knows how many opk sticks!

BFP!

Springflower3 · 27/03/2015 09:53

TerryTheGreenHorse · 26/03/2015 22:38
