Hi Ladies

This is my first time posting on Mumsnet but I'm looking for some reassurance from anyone who might be in the same boat as me!!

Just had our 10th cycle of TTC and we used a Clear Blue digital OPK this month, which said I ovulated on 22nd Feb. So I'm currently on CD36, my cycles tend to be between 30-32 days usually. AF was due Friday 6th March but as yet, no sign! I did a test on Saturday afternoon that was a BFN and another on Sunday, which was another BFN. I haven't tested since. I don't really have any symptoms to report other than some very light cramping/twinges over the last couple of days.

What do you ladies think?! I'm too scared to do another test yet for fear of yet another BFN.

Dollface u can take paracetamol in pregnancy without harming a possible foetus so you shouldn't feel guilty

Decided to hold of testing till morning because if it is a true bfp then hopefully it will be darker. Getting tired of wasting tests now
My uterus feels constantly achy and heavy, getting harder to walk lol

Ella that's so exciting please keep us up to date!

I have made an appointment with my doctor for Wed and I am going to demand he tell me either way so I can stop feeling guilty if I want to take a painkiller for my headaches etc. I hope you get your BFP!!!

I'm going with the theory that I just haven't ovulated. Although cramps are feeling a little different this afternoon to how they have done for the past week so maybe AF is on the way.

Maybe your one of the few women who don't test positive with a hpt but do with a blood test

While in town this morning I decided to pick up some more cheapies fast forward 2 hours did one and I swear I have the faintest of faint lines. Gonna try an hold my pee for about 5 hours and take another

Dollface - I heard if u are to drink wine in pregnancy make sure it's red wine as it has been proven to be good for your blood and not very harmful to babies. I drank in early pregnancy with my daughter but didn't know I was ppregnant, I was actually holding a glass of red wine while taking the pregnancy test with her haha

Morning ladies. Sorry to hear there hasn't been any progress all round. Not for me either, as you say EllaRoseMummy, just the bag of sand where a uterus should be.

I have a wedding this weekend, do you think it is ok to have a couple of wines? Given that I have been getting BFN am thinking it's unlikely I am pregnant, but don't want to do any damage!

BFN for me as well. Argh! I'm so gutted. I was having dreams of BFP last night, that's not good!

My symptoms haven't changed at all, nothing else to note just feel like AF is not going to show at all.

I don't know when I'll POAS again as I'm nervous! I'm waiting for IVF so a BFP would be wonderful.

I have 60 cheapo internet tests upstairs but daren't use them. ?? big scaredy pants that I am.

I do know that some people get BFNs for a couple of weeks past AF's due date and get a BFP later.

It's also possible to simply miss if you didn't ovulate.

I've also heard that pregnacare vitamins can extend your cycle (not sure if it's true but I have heard it)

Ok so been out for a meal and came back went to the loo and there was three tiny dots of pink blood on the toilet paper so either af is on her way or implantation bleeding. I never never spot before af, I usually get a big glob of brown blood then the witch comes in full force half hour later

My cycle us getting curiouser and curiouser lol

Oh goodness so true! Every day I have been going "wow it must be time to test again...oh wait no...it's only been one day since the last BFN".

I also never imagined I would be on line discussing my discharge with strangers when I am the sort of person who wouldn't even break wind in front of my husband haha but so glad I am!

Haha dollface love the whole belly turning blue thing lol. I'm not new to opks and temping etc I've been at it 4 years lol

I know that discharge changes are due to hormones changing so hopefully it's a good sign

Hi EllaRoseMummy! I too have had some weird TMI things going on down there like you describe. I usually don't have anything noticeable regarding discharge but this month...well, I keep thinking it's af but it's just creamy or clear and as you say no itching or anything. WEIRD.

Ronnie I am going to leave it now until next Wed when I will test again. I just can't face the BFN haha.

Great advice on the OPKs ladies thank you. As you say I am only just starting out but I don't think it hurts to get an idea if ovulation is happening potentially or if I am showing no sign of it. Wouldn't it be so much easier if your belly just turned blue or something to tell you instead of all this peeing on sticks!
