You know the drill by now ...

Rules of Entry - must be over 30, TTC no. 1 for over a year, be suitably evil and Hag like, willing to shout Cunt at the moon on regular occasions, consume extra gin when our fellow hags are unable to, and to get the nipple tassles out for any successful Hag ...

and now we've been trained by the government in our new MI5 roles, we are likely to get a little Ninja on your ass if you babydust round here ...

No admittance without a complete BESHtionnaire - see below.

Note to Erica - try and remember how to write in English! Jeez. Grammar. Hope what I meant came across though.

EricaJ · 23/04/2015 14:25

Hi Blue,

Depending on what you are basing your choice... if it was that they have a fantastic success rate, I may consider delaying.

But I would have to have some BIG reasons to consider delaying because I am really impatient (not a good thing, I admit)

Blue2014 · 23/04/2015 13:35

hags, someone help me make a decision

  1. Option to book an appointment for treatment in soon (although I don't know how long waiting lists are from first appointment) at a clinic offered to me
  2. Delay the process by either weeks or more by requesting my funding is transferred to the private clinic of my choice.

Oh im so lucky I don't work that closely with anyone likely to get diffed, sorry to hear it Rain

Bad - damn that stupidly timed smiley face. This all sucks, hey?

Erica - I don't anti symptom spot but I do a lot of "of course your boobs are sore when you squeeze them that hard, you aren't pregnant stupid!" But I've mostly done a really good job of not focussing on it lately

Fab - well done on being out and proud, I went to a wedding last year where they announced an ivf win as part of the wedding speech

Well, shit just got real for me, got my choose and book a clinic letter for ivf today. Problem is my clinic of choice isn't on it! Anyone had experience of convincing commissioners to fund a different clinic?

don't you just love it when your iPod reads your mood perfectly? on my way home feeling decidedly glum about colleague differ and got Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want by The Smiths, followed by Big Girls Don't Cry by Franki Valli (which at least made me laugh!).
it's just the thought of having six months of her being around and preg (she's a close peer in terms of seniority, so I can't avoid her!) while simultaneously going through IVF. it's just fucking typical isn't it!!!

go you fab, set everyone straight. I will do the exact same when I get my win (must maintain positive mental attitude....)

CaveMum · 22/04/2015 19:59

Hurrah for good scanage Fab, glad you've seen the wriggly fablet!

Fabuluce · 22/04/2015 15:49

Thank you all Hags Smile I truly am still amazed this is really happening to me after over 4 years of trying. I couldn't have done it without the support of you wonderful people.

I will be announcing on t'other place but being that I'm out and proud about it all I'm doing it because I want to put it out there that this is a much wanted and tried for IVF baby and not a smug 'hell I just fell on TWH's cock and look what happened' differ. And to hopefully give a little hope to those who may be suffering in silence and encourage people to say it's ok to talk about these things.

And in closing, just to prove I'm a proper ESH just this: www.thepoke.co.uk/2015/04/22/royal-baby-checklist/[grin][grin][grin]

badb · 22/04/2015 11:21

Yay, fab! Brilliant news.

I got a flashing smily face on the CB thing today, which is a little earlier than expected. Annoying, because the doc told us not to make with the secsing till post-HSG spotting had abated. It's still there, a bit. Gah! We'll have to go for it tonight anyway. The absolute joys of ttc.

Sorry to hear about the preggers colleague, rain. I don't understand this scan-showing business. Apart from lack of awareness of other people's feelings, who really is interested in that anyway, outside of family and maybe (at a push) close friends. Lots of my friends put their scan photos on FB. I don't get it.

Erica, I anti-symptom spot too. Mainly using temperature patterns though, which is pointless for me really because my temps are completely erratic. I don't even know why I bother tracking it, sometimes. I could never figure out the cm.

barking, I hope you're feeling better.

EricaJ · 22/04/2015 11:01

I am sorry Rain. Today, my own 'suspected of being preggers' colleague mentioned that she has a hangover and I must admit, I felt relieved. Which makes me a pretty horrible person because she once drunkenly confessed to having been trying for a while...

Does anyone else spot anti-symptoms? I am having creamy cm, which I do post ov every month so I concluded that if I had got pregnant, my cm would be different so I should expect a BFN next week.

I think I'm trying to shield myself against yet another disappointment. As fucking if...

TheRainDrops · 22/04/2015 10:53

My spidey-sense hasn't let me down - suspicious colleague #1 has just baby bombed me, complete with scan photo. Just glad I won't be in the office when it gets announced to everyone on Friday. Sad

EricaJ · 22/04/2015 09:41

Whooop Fab! So happy for you, hag!! Cake for you, Wine for me! Grin

TheRainDrops · 22/04/2015 07:22

Blue2014 · 21/04/2015 21:35

Anything to do with Kate and that blimmin baby does my head in - stupid bloody people waiting outside the hospital - WTAF?? Who cares???

Good luck on all the dildo cammage this week Hags - you'll soon get used to it and hopefully it will all be for very good reasons. Smile

Hags I have some good news - we had our 12 week scan today and all was bloody brilliant. We had the results of all the tests and the chances of chromosomal abnormalities are less than 1:10,00. Massive sigh of relief. I think this shit has finally got real.

barkingtreefrog · 21/04/2015 18:30

Appointment was yesterday morning. Everything went well, blah blah... Can't even be bothered going into it all. Outcome was basically more tests, more waiting. Arse. And in the meantime it's a fucking beautiful evening and I can't get on the bike as I've hurt my back and need to see a physio tomorrow instead Sad Angry. Usual problem, ttc gets in the way of exercise, I get excited when I can get back into it, over do it and then break myself. It would help if it was pissing it down.....

TheRainDrops · 21/04/2015 14:21

somehow managed to totally miss barking's post - hope this afternoon goes alright hag.

Blue2014 · 21/04/2015 13:39

Hope the appointment went/goes ok barking

Blue2014 · 21/04/2015 13:36

Yep, those bumped up women are everywhere today (is it bad that my first instinct is now to yell "will you fuck off out of my face!!" And shove them out of the way?)

Hope dildocam goes well, seems like there is a lot of shoving things in foofs for our Hags this week!

Oh and welcome back Tink Smile

OP posts:
TheRainDrops · 21/04/2015 13:26

so true! Am doing remarkably well at avoiding royal baby news. it can most definitely JTFO.

on a deserted midday train home from work to get to dildocam appointment - deserted except for the ginormous pregnant woman who's just sat opposite me. Angry

EricaJ · 21/04/2015 10:45

Welcome back Tink!

Rain Your relaxed shaggage holiday sounds great!

Blue I'm with you! Try TTC-in for 3 years and then tell me how speshial your birthing and baby are, love!

Blue2014 · 21/04/2015 09:13

I'll be back later to catch up properly but can I join in with the royal baby fucking off? "A crowd has gathered outside the hospital where she will give birth" seriously?!!!

When I give birth, that's bloody news worthy stuff, 3 years + of TTC deserves an audience. If not, then piss of!

OP posts:
barkingtreefrog · 21/04/2015 08:25

Can I just say the royal baby can fuck right off, and I couldn't give a shit whether it's a prince or a princess? Angry

TheRainDrops · 20/04/2015 21:59

barking sounds like a good weekend. I think you and chez have both earned a good bit of respite from this bollocks, glad to hear you're having moments of it already.

bad I had cramps on and off for a few hours post hycosy, just vegged on the sofa and watched crappy tv. My appointment was in the afternoon tho, so bunking off work was easier! Hope you're feeling alright now - Try not to worry about the narrow tube for now, the consultant appt will be here before long.

erica the TWW of fuck sounds interesting! Grin. Droid is leaving the building so I'll be on the other side from weds - luckily we're going on a little holiday this weekend for 5 days so perfectly timed for some relaxed shaggage, fingers crossed.

Dildocam tomorrow - the only appointment they could offer me was mid afternoon which is really annoying. Got a massive client pitch in the morning and will have to leg it back afterwards in all my fancy work gear to get dildocammed by a nurse. Hmm

fab any more scan news for us?

tink course you're welcome! Hope things have been alright IRL hag

Tinkfromlovejoy · 20/04/2015 21:38

Hello, sorry, joined in then fucked off! How rude! Had some rl shit to deal with but things slowly returning to normal. Be back properly soon if I'm still welcome Smile

EricaJ · 20/04/2015 10:11

Morning

Badb I am sorry to hear you found the HSG so unpleasant. I did too but I was told that I had a 'very narrow' cervix so I thought that was the reason I found it so painful. I totally freaked out about the 'narrow' cervix thing but during the follow up appointment, the consultant said it was fine (apart from making smear tests, HSGs etc particularly uncomfortable).

I also had/got a bicornuate uterus a result of a D&C (looong story) . It was corrected by surgery but I totally panicked about it and now it appears that lots of women have it since birth and go on having healthy pregnancies.

Try not to fret (I know, easier said than done!).

Barking You go, hag! Hope it all goes well with the consultant and that you enjoy being back to being yourself and on the bike!

Blue Glad to hear the family do went well. It must be frustrating that Mr Blue is not being very communicative but hopefully he'll open up once he's had some more time to digest the test results. Are you still thinking of makin an appointment?

Fizz Oh my god! Exciting!

Fab Am I right to think you are 12 weeks preggers??

We've TTC-d and now the TWW of fuck start (fun.not).
