mrsb my oh has to do a chocolate run more often than I care to mention.

babs I am losing weight (despite the above to mrsb!) No reason to stop ttc as long as you do it in a healthy, sensible way. Go for it.

mrsb0710 · 07/03/2015 20:42

mumof1 6 months, with one mmc. I'll see what happens and chat to the doc. If not, I may have a look at the cost of private bloods. Probably extremely expensive though Hmm

kissinggiraffe · 07/03/2015 20:40

I am wishing for bfps for other people (looking at you purds) more than I am wishing for my own Flowers

Sparkly123 · 07/03/2015 20:16

Mumof1sofar · 07/03/2015 19:59

*been

Mumof1sofar · 07/03/2015 19:59

How long have you been trying mrsb? Some drs won't do a blood test until you've bee trying for 6 months

loopylou1984 · 07/03/2015 19:56

Night, do you know why it happens? Cx

mrsb0710 · 07/03/2015 19:56

Just sent DH out to get some chocolate and Wine. It wont fix anything, but I can stuff my face with chocolate and just chill.out a bit.

Should I get the spotting checked do.you think? I had it last time too. Maybe an idea to get some bloods done.

My friend is trying for another DC and having issues, so.it's been great to chat with her.

Mumof1sofar · 07/03/2015 19:54

Night, sounds like if you do it tonight & tomorrow you will definitely have all bases covered. I hope it's your month.

Sorry to those feeling down. Thanks

Purdey, several of my friends have had babies way into their 40s. I don't think it makes much difference to having them in your 30s tbh.

Hope everyone enjoyed the sunshine today... Spring is finally here Grin Who's testing in the morning??

spinningirl10 · 07/03/2015 19:50

Purdey, does the alcohol craving worry you? Do you have a way to cope with that? Feel free to not answer if it's something you'd rather not talk about.

nightandthelight · 07/03/2015 19:47

sammy that happens to me most cycles, is v annoying!

spinningirl10 · 07/03/2015 19:46

Babs, yay for house move and being able to swim again. Good luck with the weight loss, you can do itSmile

auroraboringalis · 07/03/2015 19:45

I'm going to take a seat at the very back of the gin terrace and just close my eyes for a bit.

loopylou1984 · 07/03/2015 19:44

Hi everyone, been in London for the day hence no posts.. But hope you've all had a good day?

Af seems to have come back which is odd as yesterday it was practically gone and now have bright red blood again, so not old blood. Weird. Xx

spinningirl10 · 07/03/2015 19:44

Mrsb, sorry you're feeling down. That brown spotting for days is sure to make you fed up. Hope af arrives soon and you can crack on with next cycle Thanks

Purdey, you're having a tough time lately. Sorry you cancelled the christening but you have to take care of you. Pleased your friend was so understanding, she sounds like a good friend.

Where's Sparkly today? I haven't noticed her around.

juneybean · 07/03/2015 19:44

Grr am pissed off at work and stuck on stupid tablet. Can't even moan as am too googleable

Any who purds one of my bosses was 38 and 40 when she had hers and runs around after them no bother!

Babs I too need to lose weight but am pretty shit at it. But TTC and lose weight, don't put it on hold!

babsbunny · 07/03/2015 19:43

Hey mrsb. Totally understand. Met my best friend yesterday (over in ireland). Hadn't seen her since my wedding. She was my bridesmaid and had a huge 8 month bump then. Met her little boy for first time yesterday, he's 4 months and soooo cute. Spent rest of day trying not to cry cause I am so broody. It's hard when you want something badly and your hormones are also lending a hand!
You sound like you have had a rough time. You'll get your little bundleSmile

mrsb0710 · 07/03/2015 19:37

Thanks babs I'll be ok, just one of those days! Working in a medical environment at the moment, and also a relative had a FB preg announcement.
Spent the last 10 years desperately trying to avoid a bfp, now I just want another one - one that sticks.

babsbunny · 07/03/2015 19:36

Purdey. You do know you are super don't you?

babsbunny · 07/03/2015 19:35

Purdey, thanks for the advice. Sounds like a plan. I'm going to get back to running (was doing great before wedding in Oct). Also, moving house soon. So going back to swimming before work (used to do this before I changed jobs), as will have cut out hour and a half commute at either end of day! Woo, excited!

Not sure it's the best time to downsize to a one bed flat, but sure we'll cope for a year or two!

babsbunny · 07/03/2015 19:30

Mrsb. Hope you are ok. Vent all you want if it helps.

PurdeyBirdie · 07/03/2015 19:28

Babs, I lost two stones in rehab in eight months. This is how I did it: ran twice a week (we were only allowed out three times a week Hmm) and went spinning once a week. Diet: because I had money from being an alkie on benefits and nothing to spend it on whilst in rehab I largely lived on M&S Fuller For Longer meals (except breakfast which was a three-egg omelette with a sprinkling of cheese ). I had zero chocolate, cake or biscuits and my 'treat' every night was three liquorice & blackcurrant boiled sweets with chewy-as-fuck centres (105 calories exactly). Obviously I had no alcohol. I lost exactly two pounds per week every week and seeing that on the scales every Monday was enormously gratifying.

There is no need to quit TTC because the safest and most foolproof way to lose weight will only enhance your chances of conceiving. Thanks for your opinion on age Smile You, too, lovely Wotsits.

mrsb0710 · 07/03/2015 19:18

Hi ladies. Have been reading, but just lurking. Feel like I'm having a big wobble. CD32, plenty of bfns, and have had brown spotting for 3 days now. I think I'm about 14 dpo. Just feel shit as I should be 20 weeks pregnant now, but am impatiently awaiting AF so we can crack on with ttc. Poor DH is walking on eggshells as I'm an emotional wreck.

Sorry, just needed to vent. We all have our own struggles, and I wish we all just knew when we'd get our bfp.

PurdeyBirdie · 07/03/2015 19:13

Right, I seem to have repeated myself various times on this page. Explanation: I wrote a post whilst at mum's but decided to go home halfway through. However, it seems I posted it Hmm I have then returned home and written what I wanted to say at mum's, thereby repeating myself like a prize dick.

PurdeyBirdie · 07/03/2015 19:11

AbFab what an utterly horse shit cycle you're having. Please come back and tell us what the fertility specialist plans to do for you. It's so unfair to not be ovulating but it is so easily remedied for the vast majority of women.

I would apologise for being a bit sweary tonight but I can't see it abating whilst I'm in this mood. Do forgive.

Kissing, I love that you love being a SAHM. I am one hundred per cent positive that I would feel the same joy if only a) I had even a fiver in my purse (or bank account) b) I had a car c) I hadn't been entirely usurped by my husband who has taken over childcare, shopping and basically everything you would define parenting as, leaving me redundant and feeling inadequate as fuck.

I have contacted my friend telling her I will not be attending the Christening of her daughter tomorrow. I was honest and told her about my depression (she already knew as 'you have been withdrawing from all of us and are very quiet on facebook' Hmm) and the scratchy zits and the Usurpation By Husband and the craving for alcohol, despite having been sober for four years, five months and twenty-five days. She was so lovely and understanding Smile
