Pierced, listen up good, lovely: relationship stuff casts a shadow over absolutely everything, so it is natural you should be feeling so defeated. I can't tell you how much I currently am yearning for couples counselling. my DH recently lost his job and I cannot go into details but it has been a relationship-rocking nightmare. We are both recovering alcoholics and largely unemployable. I did not sign up for lots of situations DH has got us into. Thank the Lord I have my baby from this relationship or I would've left by now. I love the man, but men are fundamentally flawed bastards.

Have you been to see a fertility specialist yet? I would certainly hope so after ttc 2 years.

I have stopped believing that everyone else around me has it easy. That's not how the universe works. No-one is favoured more than you; they are just enjoying their time in the sun whilst it is your time to stand under the clouds. You don't want their pregnancies or babies anyway, because your genetic baby - the one belonging just to you and your DH - is waiting for you. Go and eat chocolate.

Oh, and there are umpteen of us on here with MH issues and are on medication - some of us have been for more than a decade or two. You are not alone.

eskimolaura · 08/03/2015 19:58

Pierced Sorry to hear you're feeling down. TTC is totally, all-consuming and is bound to have effects. I think you should try and see a relationship counsellor, if your DH is willing. I also think not to read too much into other people's supposedly happy and perfect lives. Things are often a veneer, especially on social networking sites. I have a work colleague who has recently adopted a 6 and a 4 year old, and I know she is having horrific problems at home with them, yet posts ridiculously happy 'everything is perfect' statuses all the time.

I am still having the odd cramp. Trying not to get my hopes up, but just said to DH, 'ooo- that one really felt like a period cramp; I think this could be it!' However, I also have at the back of my mind 'but I supposedly could have ovulated last Friday, which could make this only 9dpo- I don't want it to happen NOW!' My mind is all confuddled! Confused

kissinggiraffe · 08/03/2015 19:58

I am the silent treatment type unfortunately. I really should practice what I preach but when oh and me argue I don't speak to him for days!!

PurdeyBirdie · 08/03/2015 19:57

Gingerbread, the group is secret so no-one outside of us mn-ers can see us Smile My syringe is 10ml and rather fat and long (oo-er missus!). Of course 10ml is far too roomy in term of volume of semen but I do like the length.

Spinning, yes that chart is encouraging. Did you see her sudden rise in temp at 9dpo? Implantation, dat Smile I can't believe I conceived after 2 months of trying when I was forty. Pity it ended in mmc and I never got pregnant naturally again Hmm

Juney, that chart is perfectly normal, honest. Try not to take too much notice of pre-ov temps.

piercedprincess · 08/03/2015 19:47

Thanks for the support kissinggiraffe We will keep communicating, not today though, we're ignoring each other at the moment. Childish and immature much? Grin

kissinggiraffe · 08/03/2015 19:40

pierced ttc really does chip away at relationships, keep communicating.

Liking the facebook group idea. I have pm'd spinning , possibly more than once. Sorry Blush

Tww is hell on earth when symptom spotting and hoping and praying for bfp but my goodness it's mind numbingly boring when you know you missed the boat and have no chance of a bfp.
Roll on next cycle!

mrsb0710 · 08/03/2015 19:31

DH cooked a lovely Sunday roast, I finished it off with some co-codamol for AF pain, and have just woken up. Confused Why cant weekends be longer?

spinningirl10 · 08/03/2015 19:29

Purdey, I wonder if you are going to ov early and if the clomid would mess it up. When I took soy which is supposed to be similar to clomid it made me ov super early but I didn't take it the following cycle and my cycle returned to normal. Guess it might be different if you've taken clomid for a few cycles.

spinningirl10 · 08/03/2015 19:27

Southey, just pm her on here with your fb name and idea of what your profile pic looks like to make it eat to find youGrin

Southy84 · 08/03/2015 19:26

juney at the risk of sounding slightly stupid am I messaging you on here (and if so how do I do that) or on FB?

spinningirl10 · 08/03/2015 19:24

I did yes Purdey but I was messing around with my temps last monthBlush this cycle I'm taking them all at the same time so I know they are accurateGrin

PurdeyBirdie · 08/03/2015 19:18

Spinning, your chart is ace. Didn't you have a nice leap in temp somewhere interesting in your last chart that I got excited about? Or am I getting mixed up?

Sparkly, yes, I went to church without the tot as I wanted to focus on the visiting preacher who is an expert on biblical prophesy. It was fascinating. Yes, I would ordinarily be coming up to ov, on or around CD15. However, I have a strong feeling my body has gone mental this first month off Clomid and that I ov'd today (CD10). Never in my life have I ov'd before CD15 but I've had what I usually class as ov pains today!
Moreover, I have had watery cm for days now but didn't note it on my chart as I simply didn't believe it could be pointing to imminent ov. We're going to have sex tonight just in case but, if I really am ov'ing today we have really missed the boat. If today is all a nonsense - and I ovulate next week as normal, I will never again place any bearing on 'ovulation pains'.

I'm still catching up whilst keeping an eye on my spag bol..

piercedprincess · 08/03/2015 19:16

Sorry for the moan but just had to get it off my chest. Thanks for the support people Wine

juneybean · 08/03/2015 19:15

You can message me Southy

Southy84 · 08/03/2015 19:13

Thanks glittery Who do I message?

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 08/03/2015 19:11

Ah peirced try not to feel so down babe. a baby is waiting for you. Just waiting for the right time. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. X

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 08/03/2015 19:09

The fb group is totally private none of your friends/family will see it. It's a closed group.

Southy84 · 08/03/2015 19:08

I've missed out on loads! What's the Facebook group would love to join (but slightly paranoid about my friends knowing I'm ttc) is it named something inconspicuous? Currently experiencing horrible AF pains, could cry, want it to be over now so we can start again!!

WhatsForYeWontGoByYe · 08/03/2015 19:03

Ooh, love the idea of a FB group. Will PM.

Just got a positive OPK so, er, I'm off!

Wish me luck...

spinningirl10 · 08/03/2015 19:01

Oh pierced, sorry you're down. Ttc is not easy and can make relationships hard at times. A few here have been for couples councilling (sp!) and have spoken highly of it, might be worth a try. Would your dh be up for that?

spinningirl10 · 08/03/2015 18:58

I've added Heir I think?! Goodness it's all very confusingSmile

piercedprincess · 08/03/2015 18:54

WARNING Super self indulgent moan ahead*WARNING

Feeling a bit depressed because had a row with the OH because he's being cunty and I'm also glum because I'm probably out this cycle Sad

Bleh. It really seems like everyone is pregnant right now and it's been taking me forever. I've been trying for almost two years now. Every month it's the same old bloody same old, predictable old period every time.

Got some stuff going on in my relationship right now as well so that's just making everything worse. We should probably go to couples counselling. The fact that my period is inevitably going to arrive in a weeks time just makes me want to do nothing except crawl into bed with a large bottle of wine and a bar of chocolate. Screw watching the calories I wanna drown my sorrows.

This is a fantastical moan I know but it does seem some women have it so lucky. They seem to have fairly stable relationships, stable careers and are then blessed with bubba after bubba. Me, I'm scratching to carve out a freelance career as a copywriter for pocket money, I suffer from anxiety, my relationship is a rollercoaster, and I can't even get sucessfully up duffed once. FML plays the smallest violin in the world

eskimolaura · 08/03/2015 18:53

Heir Ignore me, it was Hair I added! (As in Boris) Simple homophone mix-up. Let me know if no-one has added you and I will sort it aaart!

eskimolaura · 08/03/2015 18:50

Heir I added you to the FB group yonks ago, my lovely!

Victoria Beans on toast are not going to make the 'is it poo or is it AF' situation any better are they?! (Although I am contemplating the same for dinner if my DH doesn't hurry up and come home to cook for me

Any newcomers to the FB group, please add your name and username on the pinned thread and also (for your own sanity), unfollow the group on your newsfeed by clicking on the drop-down menu on a post on your newsfeed and clicking 'unfollow but stay in the group'. Otherwise, you will be flooded! :)

victoria401 · 08/03/2015 18:35

Just had beans on toast after our massive carvery lunch!

Eskimo I was gonna say a similar thing to you! Wondering if I had the start of af cramps (at a mere 9dpo) or if I had too much cauliflour cheese!

genni everything crossed for you my lovely. People do say you're more fertile after a mc.
