babs definitely #symptom

Hairstylisttoboris · 11/03/2015 07:55

I read up on progesterone cream - wondering if it's the solution to my issues whilst I wait 3 weeks to see the blooming GP. Advice was to keep it going through pregnancy if using before. Might be worth checking with your gp before stopping at 12 weeks?

piercedprincess · 11/03/2015 02:01

How's all doing? Think I'm definitely going to go with the pink dress after all the encouragement. That's if I get my act together and finish this job I'm supposed to be doing or I won't have the money.

Feeling more depressed as period approaching and know I'm out this month but bleh whatevertomorrow is another day as Scarlet 'O Hara said. Wishing the rest of you all luck though.

fififolle · 10/03/2015 21:46

You're welcome. She suggested the cream as she suspected that my progesterone was border line low- short luteal phase, light period after previous BFPs and my normal regular AF being exactly 2 days late last month.

tessiegirl · 10/03/2015 20:17

Thanks fifi What were the reasons you were advised to use the cream again?

babsbunny · 10/03/2015 19:10

Ok so at 1 dpo I have incredibly achy hips. You think I'm knocked up?

mrsb0710 · 10/03/2015 18:23

sparkly I'm on the lowest dose, and have bloods monthly. I spoke at length to my consultant as I was worried, but they'd rather have me on them and be well, versus getting a IBD flare and being hospitalised for that. I have another appointment later this month so will go through it all again.
I do take multi vit and pre natal, so hopefully have all bases covered :)

juneybean · 10/03/2015 17:43

PurdeyBirdie · 10/03/2015 17:39

nightandthelight · 10/03/2015 17:20

Everyone seems to prefer fertility friend. Is it only for people who temp though?

loopylou1984 · 10/03/2015 17:12

Phew Juney, was getting worried about you! Glad you're okay Smile

wotsits1 · 10/03/2015 17:09

Purdey How's the tooth?

fififolle · 10/03/2015 17:02

Tessiegirl that was the correct site for the cream I've been using. It says to use an eighth of a teaspoon twice daily approx 12 hrs apart. It also says to apply to different, non fatty, areas of the body eg inner arms, tops of hands and feet, upper chest. I keep mine in the bedside drawer.
Interestingly, when I had my BFP with DC and with MMC I had a light period just after but this time I haven't. I plan to keep using it until 12 weeks.

juneybean · 10/03/2015 16:30

I couldn't get on with ovia, it kept telling me to get shagging days in advance... um not helpful ovia!

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 10/03/2015 16:21

LH Surge is approx 24-36 hours prior to ovulation.

wotsits1 · 10/03/2015 16:14

Wait! Knit do we not ov within 36 hours of a positive ovulation test?!?

KnitFastDieWarm · 10/03/2015 16:10

I have another gripe about Ovia (yes, I know the obvious answer is 'stop using fecking Ovia!' [grin)

I got a positive ov test on Monday 2nd, cd 11, so I reckon I must have ovulated on cd 12/13 or 14. Ovia now tells me that in five days (CD 24) I should poas. SMEP tells me to wait until 17th March (CD 26) - which is right?

Hairstylisttoboris · 10/03/2015 15:57

night I know a lady on here (can't remember who) who did get her bfp commented that she had copious amounts of creamy cm just before getting her bfp so it can be a good symptom. Every month I get loads and wish for it to be a good sign .....

nightandthelight · 10/03/2015 15:54

Aww thanks wotsit I am running out of fingers and toes to cross for everyone on the bus Grin

tessiegirl · 10/03/2015 15:45

Ugh! I really wish AF would just arrive properly so I may start feeling better. Feel light headed, dizzy and yuck with greasy hair Sad

That is a long time to wait until the funeral Spinning Did they decide if they were going to do a pm?

Hope those with upcoming sperm results go well - DH is going to have another one when we are next back in UK. I really hope Wellman vits have worked wonders!
