Spinning nice chart! You timed dtd well? All crossed for you!! Can't believe we are talking about this already as it feels like two minutes ago we were on about our last TWW!

Sparkly123 · 05/03/2015 19:30

Go Coffee Go!!!

mummy thanks. We shall see what tomorrow's temp brings!! Ha ha good start with the CB! I sent my first 14 off today.. All of which were only half full!! They are not going to be happy!! I clearly missed the part in the instructions which stated FILL CUP! Yes just miss one!! Easily done!! Girls weekend sounds great! Jealous! Envy Smile

Spinning aw thanks but it's really not a lot of effort from me with AI is it? The first few were hard because I was so unwell but technically it's the husband that deserves a medal! Not sure if I count this as first or second cycle after the mc or not. Either way it is going to bring me a BFP!!! Wink

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 05/03/2015 19:26

Cor sorry. Life story there haha

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 05/03/2015 19:25

Yep CB plus. The one I took today I took it with me to work left it in the glove compartment. Looked at it on the way home and still a negative. No extra lines. Not even a peep of any evap line.

I've pissed on so many sticks, I really can't be arsed anymore. Constant disappointment with them Wink

Just had steak and sweet potato mash with a lemon salad.

DH watching some crap on tele so gonna shove some washing on, make a hot chocolate and hop in the shower.

I feel heavy in the lower stomach and bloaty and my cervix is low and firm. I reckon AF is on her way.

That peak lunchtime cheeky shag was a waste of time! Lol Wine

Sparkly, I agree that I think ov has happened. I guess tomorrow's temp should tell you. You certainly deserve your bfp this cycle, fab effortSmile

CoffeeTwo · 05/03/2015 18:59

(off to catch up on all the pages I've missed now!)

Nomio230 · 05/03/2015 18:59

Woohoo, go get busy, coffee!

mummyofonesofar · 05/03/2015 18:59

sparkly I agree about ov yesterday using their 6 over 3 theory, so 2 more high temps and it's done! Forgot my CB sample this morning - only on day 2! They said it's fine though so do you recon I can "forget" Sunday as I'm spending a night away with the girls (sharing rooms) and won't have a fridge or room for a potty?

Purds yes I do know! Just because we don't want it 24/7 doesn't make us bad parents, it makes us normal! It is mundane and wonderful all at the same time. But don't feel like you need to feel like this just because Nancy is all you wanted. It's ok to want more. Being a Mum is hard and at Nancy's age you don't get much back for it!

glittery sorry for bfn, fx it's due to sensitivity.

Sparkly123 · 05/03/2015 18:54

Where's our Juney today? Shock

Glittery eek sorry for bfn!! But still hope, fingers crossed!! Was your test yesterday CB? I know they are not as sensitive as frers etc

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 05/03/2015 18:49

Hi all
Sorry for not posting sooner been on the go all day. Dinner is on so have a few mins to check in.

I did another CB this morning which was negative. Which is fine. Will test when/if AF is late which would be Wednesday. That would make it a 30 day cycle and I've not had any of those for years! Had a few cramps today but no spotting. Major bloat though Hmm
Congrats on the BFP's. Gives me hope!
Sorry to those who go the fucktard AF xx

Sparkly123 · 05/03/2015 18:48

Ah I see sorry Sammy I must have forgotten re the fact you already had tests. So I think two years then? Fingers crossed for you though.. Have heard so many times of people who get ref for IVF then get a BFP right before starting Flowers

Nomio230 · 05/03/2015 18:38

sammy, they will start investigations after a year, but you are not eligible for IVF until you have been trying at least two years. Can you maybe pretend you have been trying a bit longer than you actually have?

^Guidance from NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) recommends that up to three IVF cycles should be available on the NHS if:
the woman is aged between 23 and 39 at the time of treatment, and
one or both of you has been diagnosed with a fertility problem (such as having no sperm or both fallopian tubes blocked), or
you’ve been infertile for at least two years^

loopylou1984 · 05/03/2015 18:37

Thank you Nomio, will have a look on the laptop later Smile
What if they find a specific problem? Do you still have to wait 2 years? Xx

Woolly84 · 05/03/2015 18:37

Hi everyone! I'm still stuck at work, been a busy week!Sad
Thanks for all the preseed advice, I've ordered some so let's see if it helps!! Smile
Genni congrats!!! SmileFlowers
Sorry if I've missed any other BFPs!
Purdey - I hope you're okay, I've not been on these forums long but from what I've seen you're one of the most helpful and caring people on here and seems a lot of other people agree Grin hope you feel better soon Flowers

loopylou1984 · 05/03/2015 18:33

Thanks Sparkly. So we have already been referred and having investigations, but I was under the impression that of no obvious cause of infertility is found then some areas have wait criteria before you can have treatment. I really hope I'm wrong though, because the clinic we would go to only has a 4 week wait list!! Xx

Nomio230 · 05/03/2015 18:33

Sammy, I am pretty sure it is two years. That is what I was told. Also different areas have different rules about weight, smoking, previous children etc. If you put your postcode in, this website tells you which CCG you are under. Once you know that might be able to find something more specific.

www.nhs.uk/Service-Search/Clinical%20Commissioning%20Group/LocationSearch/1

Purds, we all love you. I am so sorry you feel bad and I know at times it is impossible to see a way out, but you will get through this. As mentioned previously CBT can be really useful, although that is more of a long term strategy. In the short term, have you spoken to your GP about maybe changing or adding to your medication?

We are all here for you if you ever need to rant. Flowers

Sparkly, that is a pretty good date to have a BFP on!

Heir, good luck for tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be too painful.

Massive congratulations to you, genni. I hope the next few months go well for you. Flowers

Sparkly123 · 05/03/2015 18:25

So one year Sammy and then referral basically. I found more info on my local NHS fertility hospital website relating to the actual waiting time etc specific to my area. Hope that helps Flowers

Sparkly123 · 05/03/2015 18:24

Sammy Nice says :

A woman of reproductive age who has not conceived after 1 year of unprotected vaginal sexual intercourse, in the absence of any known cause of infertility, should be offered further clinical assessment and investigation along with her partner

Sparkly123 · 05/03/2015 18:22

Sammy here's the NICE guideline, I would def give it a read so you know what you are entitled to etc. I did that before my fertility app and found it helpful.

www.nice.org.uk/guidance/cg156/resources

loopylou1984 · 05/03/2015 18:20

We've been trying for about 16 months Sparkly, will be 18 by the time we see the specialist. I did try the nice website, but I couldn't find anything about specific areas, just the general information. I might be missing something though, will have another look tonight. Xx

Sparkly123 · 05/03/2015 18:11

Sammy did you check NICE guidelines on IVF or does it not reference individual locations? I think it may depend on your postcode for actual referral . I know some people who have to wait for two years for referral but others who only waited six months. But I think -if I'm correct- that you have to have been trying about two years without conception? I hope that I'm not wrong on that, I'm sure someone will correct me if so, but I'm
Sure I read that on NHS.

wotsits1 · 05/03/2015 18:10

OK... Sparkly, Spinning and Dojo... we need to get this device sorted! I'm emailing Peter Jones and Duncan Bannatyne tonight!!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 05/03/2015 18:10

Purdey I will be CD24 tomorrow, he said the test should be about 7 days before AF is due which would be CD31 if the same as my last cycle - so good job I asked today!
