Hoping we have done enough this month. We started on cd8 then every other day to CD20. I got a static smiley face cd19. Have been having slight cramps and sore tits today. Probably doesn't mean much probably just my imagination. I am exhausted. Sacked off Zumba tonight to loaf and watch ITVbe.

Lucie, sounds exciting! I would definitely not tell your Dr that you are having IVF abroad. As far as I understand, you are not eligible for NHS help if you have previously had IVF.

Juney, I am pleased you managed to find some tadpoles. Does each donor set their own prices? Have you had to go for a fat dwarf this time round to get it cheaper?!

I am in a terrible mood today. I feel like a right grumpy cow, but also just want to cry. I think it is because the baby from my CP would have been due tomorrow.

Kissing, do you have any hunches why DC3 took so long to conceive? Do you suspect you may simply not be having enough sex at the right time (that's a genuine question; I'm not being condescending)? Are you sure you ovulate every month? How long did it take you to conceive your first two tots?

Spinning, I wish I'm summat like CD5 (I'm not temping until I absolutely have to; maybe CD9) and, as I have come off Clomid, I expect to ov on the same day as I used to (CD15). I said I was going to give up charting my temps but seeing as this is my first natural cycle in five months I need to reassure myself that I ovulate.

sparkle our one successful dtd was 3 days before positive opk. Pretty sure oh doesn't have great sperm so doubt they would have lasted long enough to meet the egg......
I think the pressure is getting to us. DC 3 took a couple of years to conceive and it almost spelt the end of our relationship.
We don't have much time either. I am needing an operation that I can't put on hold indefinitely so we are going to keep trying until August then accept that we won't have a 4th.

I know we are lucky to have 3 children but the thought of not having #4 is quite frankly heartbreaking.

Lucie, hurrah for cheap drugs! And yippee for NHS IVF! Are you keeping your Czech round secret? I would. How old are you, Lucie? How low was your AMH?

We're thinking of doing that, but I'm not sure how to find out if that is ok with the nhs in my area? I'm reluctant to miss out on our nhs try... Xx

Lucie, so pleased to hear that it's all happening soon for you. The meds are expensive but as you say, cheaper there than here. I shall have to google the endo scratch as I've not heard of that. I am keeping everything crossed that you get your bfp before you get to the nhs treatment.

It's hard to fit it all in sometimes, don't give yourself a hard time. It will happen! Just even try next cycle to add even one more time in and you will feel better you are making progress. Hi Spinning (and everyone else) yes I'm still half lurking about. The ivf plans are going well. I have now received my protocol and prescription and have sourced the best place to get all my medication (pharmacy in Czech) It comes to £650 altogether which saves a couple of hundred pounds on the cheapest place that I found in the UK. I'm just waiting for AF to arrive this month which should be the weekend after next and then I'm going to order it all and we will officially be starting it all! I'm going to book in an endo scratch on my next cycle as well as its meant to help implantation.

Had a telephone consultation with my gp today to go over my test results. She said everything is fine with me and they show that I am ovulating. She said my AMH was a little low but she isn't keen on that particular blood test and doesn't have that much faith in it. She knows a lot of people with low amhs that have got pregnant naturally. She said it was probably down to the low motility factor and has agreed to refer us for ivf. She confirmed that it was a 12 month wait for the initial appt I've put my name down but really hope I will be pregnant before that comes around!

Hi spinning No, but I think I will start if I get af. I'm also on the cb trial, so that will help if I don't get my bfp.
I feel bad being anxious about it, when there are others here who have waited/are waiting such a long time.

This won't be our month. We only dtd once. ONCE......and it was too early. We tried one more time during fertile window but it was a flop. Literally!
I'm so bloody annoyed that we can't seem to get our act together. We know we need to dtd but something always seems to get in the way.
This is cycle 5 and I can honestly say we haven't put anywhere near enough effort into any cycle so far.
At least I won't spend the next 2 weeks driving myself crazy with imaginary symptoms....

Mrsb, nice to see you. Yes I would say you're still in with a chance. Implantation doesn't always happen at the same time. Do you temp?

DP is in a right grump tonight - annoyed with his mum and falling out with me. Plus DS went to bed crying because he was tired - so sleep then instead of shouting!! Ok rant over.
