No hide, please don't feel bad.
I'm going to the gp 1st thing tomorrow and we'll go from there. I don't expect them to do much though as they don't tend to scan this early.

hideandsqueak · 29/03/2015 15:55

Oh no mary I feel really insensitive now. So sorry to hear that. Hmm Fingers crossed there is another explanation. Have read plenty of women do have heavy bleeds and everything works out...there have been a couple on the October bus

MarysPrayer · 29/03/2015 15:43

It's good to hear from you hide. I would have loved to have joined your thread but the spotting I had yesterday is now heavy bleeding Sad It's not looking good.
Thank you to everyone who sent nice messages yesterday. I really thought everything would be ok.

hideandsqueak · 29/03/2015 15:22

Hello ladies. Am sat in my car feeling really sick whilst DS naps so I started an antenatal thread for BF whilst TTC graduates so as soon as you get your BFP please join me! It's a bit lonely at the moment...

Mumof1sofar · 29/03/2015 15:11

Well done dro. Is she on formula the rest of the time then?

Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday. Rain here - ugh!

AvaAmulet · 29/03/2015 13:57

YES Dro!!! Smile

And well done!

You may find your lo regresses and needs more milk/comfort when she's poorly/teething but hopefully you'll get back into your new routine again shortly after. This is what I'm telling myself with DD being a little more unsettled the past few days Wink x

Droflove · 29/03/2015 11:02

Up to recently I was doing 7 am, 5 pm and 2-3 times a night. I dropped the 5 pm and now she's slept through for a week so I'm suddenly on only 1 time a dayShock Can I still stay on this thread?

Mumof1sofar · 29/03/2015 10:37

Good luck dro. How often are you feeding your Lo?

I'm lying with bum on pillow Smile I'm really liking using opks so far this month- it's nice to know where you are in your cycle. I think last month we dtd too early (& not enough).

Droflove · 29/03/2015 10:33

If I was to get a bfp this month ill have 3 under 3. The little one (6mts) just slept through the night 6 night in a row, last night 7-7! Up to a week ago she was waking 5-10 times a night and I was wondering if I was insane considering how bad my ms usually is. But if she's going to sleep for me, bring #3 on!!!

Mumof1sofar · 29/03/2015 08:39

Just catching up... Mary so sorry to hear about your scare. Can you get an early scan to reassure you? I'm sure your gp would refer you.

The other day I found out a friend of mine is having a 2nd baby & the age gap between them will be just over a year!!!

Flashing smiley for me today (cd11) SmileSmileSmile Exciting!!

auroraboringalis · 29/03/2015 07:38

Thanks guys shines opk badge keeps as trophy like a loser
I'm already panicking about my luteal phase now!

AvaAmulet · 28/03/2015 22:44

Sorry you had a scary morning, Mary Sad poor you googling ectopic pregnancy, hope you're reassured that spotting and mild cramps are normal in the first trimester, as worrying as they are Sad x

AvaAmulet · 28/03/2015 22:30

Thanks Ruth! I'm trying not to get my hopes up but it's so hard... At least I know I'm on the right track if I do get a bfn and I will do better re bd'ing next month, as I'll make sure we do it the day after ov too... Feel like such a numpty for thinking the egg has a 12-24 hour window to get fertilised, feel like I failed 'ttc 101' for not knowing it's 36 hours, with all the ttc reading I do too....duh... x Hmm

AvaAmulet · 28/03/2015 22:21

That's how I felt on Tuesday, Aurora, when a lady at playgroup who has a DD younger than mine, said she's coming up to her 20 week scan. She's lovely and I'm really pleased for her but still.....Hmm

My cousin's wife had her baby shower today for her second DC, hope your friends' goes well (and we'll all be having another one soon too! Wink)

Congrats on the positive opk! Grin

No achy boobies today Sad as mildly painful as it was it was quite exciting while it lasted... Oh well ... x

MarysPrayer · 28/03/2015 21:18

Just been catching up - an exciting few days ahead for some. Smile Fx for everyone!

Pear I hope you start to feel better soon.

I'm sorry I know nothing about temping so I'm no help with that.

To everyone who has AF-like symptoms: don't lose hope. I felt exactly like that just before i got my bfp. It's really cruel that AF and early pregnancy often have the same symptoms.

I've had an odd few days. Had twinges on my left side for several days earlier this week. Stupidly I poas and panicked that the line seemed fainter, despite it being the same Boots brand test that I got the nice dark line on a couple of days before. Cue lots of googling of ectopic pregnancies. Bought some Clearblues and got a nice line so was reassured again. But only for a few days as I woke up to spotting, cramps and twinges this morning Confused Touch wood it's all subsided now.
All this and I'm only 5 weeks. It's gonna be a long 7 weeks now!

peardrop2 · 28/03/2015 21:00

Ruth - oh yay! 4 of us will be testing this week then Smile deffo going to have a BFP on the thread then!

I would have loved to. Seriously. Really hard early in but later soo-oooo much easier. Activities, schools, ferrying them around, much simpler. I try not to dwell. yeah yeah who am I kidding
Sleep well through lemsip or no lemsip help! Am off to bed early.

peardrop2 · 28/03/2015 20:42

Aurora - would you really want that age gap? My friends with that age gap are really struggling. It looks hard!

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 28/03/2015 20:41

What's so annoying is that I know a Lempsip would sort me out Wink

Hallo all you ladies riddled by illness and achy boobies! Grin Feel better soon!
I've been baking for a friend's baby shower and am pooped, dc has a fever and I have a positive opk! Shaggity shag.
Saw playgroup mom with her 11 month old and new bump due in May. Envy

peardrop2 · 28/03/2015 19:05

All the months I've experienced OV twinges its ended in a bfn so it doesn't make me feel confident Sad

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 28/03/2015 19:04

Ava I'm envious that you have temps to go on EnvyEnvyEnvy

OP posts:
AvaAmulet · 28/03/2015 18:33

A lot of us seem to be having ovarian twinges this month (I'd never experienced this before?!) so hoping it's a lucky month for us Wink x

AvaAmulet · 28/03/2015 18:29

Thanks Eggs, I'm taking my temps in Fahrenheit and the readings were in the 96's pre-ov (so consistent with yours) and are now in the high 97's - really hope they keep rising...

I might also be a mouth sleeper (how would I know?! I'm sleeping! Lol!) so I'm also wondering if my temps would read higher if I could be certain of keeping my mouth shut Confused

Oh Pear you sound like I did during OV last month Sad hopefully it won't last too long, mine was about 3 rotten days from start to finish so not too bad x
